Litty Went to Check on Kuufa

When Litty and Roma visited the Magician’s Guild, they were nearly turned away at the door.

Litty was visibly upset, even though she told them that she was not interested in becoming an apprentice. In reality, despite what Ilysis had told her, she still wanted to give it a try and not admit defeat.

The guild had one or two gatekeepers standing at the entrance, not for defense, but to save the trouble of wasting time on the hopeless ones.

Litty couldn’t help but comment, “We won’t know until we try.”

“Well, well… we have warned you.”

Although Roma was not turned down right away when she came to Magician’s Guild before, she too had been considered a failure in the end.

Even though she now had the title of Fighter, the way the Magician’s Guild treated her before was not a good memory for her.

Pushing the memories back to the depths of her mind, she joined Litty and entered the Magician’s Guild.

Just as they were about to speak to the guild member at the reception desk, they heard a scream from the back of the room.

“It’s coming from the training hall…!”

Litty and Roma followed the pale receptionist.

When the three of them reached the training area, they spotted the backs of the apprentices. They all seemed to be paying attention to something.

At that point, Litty searched for Kuufa for a moment, but did not find her.

“What happened!”

“Oh no…oh geez. This girl was asking for our guidance… and…”

The first thing that caught Litty’s eye was Maamu holding her shoulder. She was bleeding and unable to hold back the tears that were flowing in her eyes.

Litty’s body moved before her head could think, jumping to Maamu’s side.

“Maamu-san?!”

“Litty-san…. Ah, this, this is… nothing…” 𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙥𝒖𝒃.𝒄𝒐𝒎

Litty was not surprised that Maamu was there with her escort, Natasha. However, Natasha had a look of rage on her face that Litty had never seen before.

The man at the receiving end of her gaze was a magician-like man with a red Mohawk on his head. Litty wondered if he was an instructor or an apprentice.

But she had not lost sight of what she needed to do before that.

“Can any of you use recovery magic?!”

With Litty’s prompting, the guild member in charge of first aid snapped back to reality and immediately tended to Maamu.

He told Litty that he had the title of healer, but he was having a hard time healing the injury on Maamu. When Litty looked at her wound closely, she could see that something had pierced through her shoulder.

“O, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” (Mohawk Person)

“You didn’t…”

“You’re lying! You purposely aimed at her!”

One of the apprentices yelled, pointing at the red-haired Mohawk. The Mohawk Person faintly clucked, but he quickly returned to his normal tone.

Litty observed the man, but she could see no information about him other than that he was a magician. Litty, with her low magic power, could not sense the man’s ability as a magic user.

Roma, who had higher magic power than Litty, was not much different either.

“No, no, I’m really sorry, you know. I didn’t expect you to be such a small fry. You know, sweetie?”

“Hey, you know what, why don’t you shut your mouth?”

“Oh, you’re a scary lady.”

At Natasha’s threat, the man backed away, looking both frightened and amused.

He had recently joined the Magician Guild as an apprentice. However, he was already a wizard class magician. In other words, his goal was not to earn a title.
