Litty, Facing the Undead Leader
“Want to visit the infirmary…?” (Ghost Granny)
For the second time, the old woman with empty eyes appeared before Litty, but she did not immediately attack Litty even though she was an undead.
With the limited number of times Litty could use Saint Weapon Enchantments, she decided to see how things would unfold.
“Let’s go there together!” (Ghost Granny)
“Ah…” (Litty)
Litty took the old woman’s icy cold hand, slowed her pace and matched hers.
“Is there something wrong?” (Ghost Granny)
“I have to go…” (Litty)
The conversation was not going well, but Litty walked on regardless.
“Roma-san and the others are definitely worried about me.” (Litty)
The old woman didn’t reply.
“I’ve recently learned that you shouldn’t go on an adventure alone. You should go with your team. It will be more fun that way. Fighting and discovering new things together….” (Litty)
Pulling the old woman’s hand, Litty decided to have a casual talk.
When it came to adventures, Litty could talk about it all night long. It didn’t matter if the other party was undead. She just expressed her honest feelings.
“There are some things I know, some things I don’t. If there is someone next to me… they will be able to tell me what I am lacking. If we experience adventures together, rather than alone, we will gain more benefit from it.” (Litty)
“Every, one…” (Ghost Granny)
The old woman responded, her hand shaking faintly in Litty’s hand.
“I think that’s what I love about adventures. Not only are they fun, but they are also a great way to grow… Currently, I’ve only just formed my party…. I want to have many more adventures and learn many things I don’t know…” (Litty)
“Great, adventure…” (Ghost Granny)
The grip of the old woman’s hand grew stronger; even Litty could feel the pain, but no further harm was done.
“Adventure…unknown…everyone…ah…” (Ghost Granny)
The old woman broke down in tears. She took her hands off Litty and covered her face with her hands.
“All of us, the adventures…that man, always…” (Ghost Granny)
“Granny…” (Litty)
“The infirmary…that man and always, there…. He’s so busy that we don’t have much time…just the two of us…” (Ghost Granny)
The old woman cried aloud. Looking at her tearful face, Litty could not believe that she was an undead.
Neither the living nor the undead lie in their emotions. At least that’s how Litty interpreted it.
“No matter how many times, how much I walk…I can’t get to the infirmary! Aaahhh…” (Ghost Granny)
“Let’s go there, together with me.” (Litty)
Litty took the old woman by the hand and walked forward once again. The brightness of the ship’s interior increased again, dispelling the heavy atmosphere.
The ship’s interior was designed like a maze, yet as soon as they turned the first corner, they found the stairs.
“There, up there…”(Ghost Granny)
The old woman stepped forward and gradually Litty followed. There was no hesitation in her steps.

Captain Cleaver… even a child knew of his feat of discovering new continents and creating sea routes.
In those days, it was not unusual for more than half of the crew to die out by the end of a voyage due to the low quality of preserved food.
To combat that situation, it was widely known that his crew created a storm in the shipping industry by developing preserved food with high nutritional value.
“It’s not just unexplored zones. Cleaver made many technological advancements possible, including shipbuilding technology. Some even credit him for progressing trade decades ahead.” (Roma)
