"Right...?" Caius muttered after the tenth time. It became more agonizing to watch. His heart broke at every turn to the extent he was lost in that formed reality.

Not only did he see his mother, but he also saw glimpses of the future... of Liya fighting for him to her death... of him killing her...

This circle continued. And he wasn't the only one caught in it... Jake's experience was much worse.

Jake's scene was him watching helplessly as they killed his people over and over again, did some dirty things to his mother and father, disgraced them, shouted, tormented, and tortured them in the most gruesome ways. But he was calm.

The more he saw, the greater his anger grew, and he swore to kill them even if he died trying.

For someone with a good heart and a lot of loved ones, it was the worst torture imaginable. And yes, many fell to it and died. As for those that were naturally cruel—for example, Kade? He was a member of the family of bloodthirsty humans. They killed others like pigs and were strong. They were basically recruits for the best army of the Human Federation.

That's why their killings were tolerated.

The scene changed in front of Kade and he was back. He saw many close to him dying, but he didn't lift a finger.

Since he was young, he had been taught that dying meant you were weak. The strong survive. So basically, this trial was easy for him.

He wasn't the only one that got out... a lot of people were determined.

"Aaah... is this Rank 3?" a female sigh was heard as two humans were seen with smiles on their faces.

"She did it," Marcule said with a light laugh.

"Hahaha, she did... amazing," Mark said as he nodded.

Now, in addition to Void and him, Kira was also a Rank 3 being. The Hans were strong. At least now, they could protect themselves and even live in a universe—but a universe couldn't help them grow stronger anymore. Only a multi-universe could.

"Congratulations," Mark said with a grin.

"Thank you," Kira replied and laughed lightly.

"Okay wait, Mark is Chaos Law, so yours is...?" Marcule asked excitedly.

"The Law of Killing. Basically, the more I kill, the stronger I become," Kira replied, making Marcule gasp.

"Does it have a limit?" Mark asked.

"Nope, not one. Well, it'll only cause my body to be destroyed when I can't hold the strength anymore," Kira said, leaving them stunned.

"Strong... so between you and Mark, who would win at the same realm?" Marcule asked excitedly.

"Well, you'll get to find out now," Kira said with a smile as she looked at Mark.

"Alright... I'll reduce my strength to match exactly yours," Mark said with his arms crossed.

Kira grinned and shook her head. "I'm not that weak... just fight at your full strength," Kira said, making Mark laugh.

"Hope you won't regret it though," Mark said as he moved.

"I'm ready," Kira thought as she crossed her arms—when a claw hit her.

Like a rocket, she flew away.

She broke the first, second, and third layers of space...

Darkness all around, but she saw everything clearly.

She felt her arms trembling and smiled warily.

"The gap between Quasi-Rank 3 and Rank 3 is so wide... If I was still at Quasi-Rank 3, I would be dead already—even thousands of me would still die. Incredible," Kira thought as her vision darkened.

Mark grinned as he lifted Kira's body by her head.

With a clenched fist, he punched out.

...Boom...

Kira opened her mouth and spluttered out blood.

Throwing her away, Mark waited as she recovered from the pain.

"Damn, can't he be a little gentle?" Kira frowned as she looked at the smiling Mark.

"Bully," she thought as Mark moved.

She was stunned—Mark had just disappeared, and the next thing she felt was space locking around her. She couldn't even move her body.

Boom

Kira stood in place, but her armor was broken, revealing her fair, tender belly skin. She was slim, yet had graceful curves.

"Bitch..." Kira struggled to speak as Mark laughed.

"You said I should go all out," Mark replied, amused.

"Idiot! I said that—not to kill me! Why are you trying to kill me?!" Kira asked angrily, gritting her teeth as her lips were covered with blood.

"Ish, you're not keeping to your word," Mark shrugged, as Kira got annoyed and attacked.

"Now... first time controlling a law. What does it do?" Kira thought as she felt the connection to a special energy inside her.

It was like an advanced energy. Willing it, she felt a blood aura spread out, and Mark paused slightly...

"Hmm, wait what? Why do I feel weaker...?" Mark thought as he stopped and looked at the approaching Kira—but then shrugged.

"Still, the effect is minimal," Mark thought as he threw out a claw swipe—when suddenly he saw a blood-red scene and hesitated.

This gave Kira the chance she needed. She moved to his side and hit his ribs.

Boom

Mark flew off—of course, not hurt by the attack—but stunned by her Law of Killing.

"What... ability is this...?" Mark thought, stunned. He was impressed.

"Nice," Mark said as he stopped his moving body and grinned.

Boom

Space twisted as he broke through it and reached Kira instantly.

"Bastard's taking it seriously," Kira thought, but even though she thought that, she was happy. It meant she wasn't weak at all.

Pow

A strange sound echoed as Marcule felt his heartbeat accelerate.

"No motherfuckers!" Marcule grabbed his giant axe and fled.

Where he was previously was consumed by chaos as his face twitched.

Two auras collided—one devilishly red and the other a weird, strange dark aura.

The Chaos Law and the Killing Law were facing off. Although the Chaos Law was bigger than the Killing Law, it was still fighting back—even if it was useless.

Boom

Boom

Boom...

The two clashed like they were in a life-and-death battle. With this battle, Kira improved rapidly and understood her own law.

She would be the strongest in a one-against-many battle. In one-on-one, she was strong.

The reason she was the strongest in large-scale battles was because she could keep getting stronger without limit.

Terrifying—but possible...

A fascinating discovery for Mark.

Now at Rank 3, his Chaos Law was basically at the cream of the top in usage. He was confident—if he fought Void's clone again, even if the clone used that sword—he would still win.

"These two are getting farther and farther away from me in strength... I have to work harder," Marcule thought as he clenched his axe .
