NOVPUBLeo and Snow sat on the couch, they looked at Clara Rouge very patiently. They didn't rush her, after all, asking someone to trust them when they intended to use their child as a potential weapon against one of their enemies. Although the enemy they shared was the same, it was still not an easy thing to do.
Clara was lost in her thoughts, and the couple was waiting as well, the silence gave them the impression that probably, Clara might still hold some emotions towards Carole, and this whole meeting could end up being a disaster for them. When the brain takes a look at the negative, it cannot help but speculate everything ending with a nuclear blast.
Clara took a good ten minutes to arrange her thoughts and said, "Mister and Missus Cardinal, ever since my daughter has started working at your house, looking after Lily. I have noticed that she has started acting more like the children her age. She had a good talent when it came to music, but I was incapable of providing her with the education and the resources that she needed.

Clara Rouge nodded and said, "That very Luger family. The rulers of the Arya Continent, be it in the shadows or the light, they command one of the biggest and the most extensive empires in this world. They are the richest family in the world."
Snow frowned and asked, "Why would someone as strong as the Luger family support Carole?"
Clara Rouge replied calmly, "One night when he was done violating me, and tried to coax me into his love trap he revealed to me that his mother is a direct descendant of the Luger family. However, since she had him without marrying into the Primal Family, she had to give him up, however, she still loves her first born a lot, from what I have gathered, she is still single."
Leo frowned and asked, "How do you know all this?"

Leo stood up from the couch slowly, and asked, "May I see your skills, Miss Rouge?"
The lady nodded and took out a sleek laptop from her handbag. This thing was very small, and she opened it before them for Leo to see things clearly. The young man thought, 'Such an old unit, how is she managing anything on that power?'

She then opened the voice and video clippings of two ladies and the couple was stunned. Although the information in the clips or the recording was not anything strong, Leo could use his skills to vouch that the data was real.
He looked at Snow and said, "We were thinking of Symphony being the biggest weapon, but Miss Rouge here is sitting atop an arsenal that could do a lot of damage to the Primals."
Snow nodded, Leo looked at Miss Rouge and he wanted to say something when his mobile rang, and he frowned. He picked up the call, and Zeenat said, "Sir, I spotted a suspicious person entering the school through sneaky means, and I found a small knife on his person when I confronted him. He is a small-time criminal and wanted to target the kids of the rich to solve his problems."
'Ping: Host, please make a move and investigate this issue thoroughly.'
Leo raised his brow and said, "I will be right there."
Then he turned to look at Snow and said, "Something came up, I am heading out."
Snow was surprised but she could tell from his expression that it was serious and so she nodded and said, "Go safe, I will handle things here."
The young man moved out of the office after bidding them farewell, and he took the elevator to the ground floor, where Kyle got in the car, and they made haste to reach the school.

In the office, Clara Rouge and Snow were left sitting alone, Snow smiled and asked, "Miss Rouge, you are just slightly older than me, and while Symphony calls me Miss Snow, she calls Leo, Big brother. I think it is time we fix this mess once and for all. I would like to call you Sister Clara."
Clara smiled faintly and said, "If you don't mind having a sister like me, I would be honored."
Snow chuckled and said, "Look at you saying such things. Let's see, how many things do we have in common?"
The women began to chat, and Snow was a master in the arts of communication. She was creating a safe and comfortable space for Clara, who had no idea that this sweet looking blonde was even more cunning and dangerous than Leo Cardinal himself.

Leo arrived outside the school, and he couldn't help but look at the guard stationed at the door, and then walk inside the premises. He reached the classroom, where he spotted Lily and the children sitting inside as they learned from Miss Verse. His anxious heart calmed down, and he took a deep breath as he looked at Zeenat, and asked, "Can you tell me where this man you apprehended is?"
Zeenat nodded and led the way. Leo said, "Kyle, you guard here, please."
Kyle nodded in understanding and watched Leo and Zeenat walk through the corridor as they walked away. He sighed in relief, thanking the gods that Lily was safe, or he was afraid Leo might have caused the entire city to drown in blood.
Kyle may look calm on the surface, but his shirt was covered in cold sweat and his legs also trembled a little. In the car, on the way, Leo was radiating such an intense killing intent that it almost made him piss his pants.
He was a war hardened soldier, and this was the first time he felt a sensation of fear rising up from the core of his bones.

The man raised his head to look at Leo, his hair covering the majority of his face. The young man asked calmly, "If you don't tell me who you are, I will have my men take you out, no one would know where you went."
The man smiled bitterly and said, "I am…"
