"Treatment? I’m not sick."

Wu Bin said seriously to Jin Nanhua, "Dr. Jin, my mental state is actually very good, everything is normal."

"I don’t know why Director Li and the others have misdiagnosed me; you’re a doctor, you can tell that there’s nothing wrong with me, can’t you?"

Jin Nanhua first looked at Nightingale, seeking with her eyes whether Wu Bin had always been like this.

Nightingale nodded, indicating that Wu Bin had always been in this state.

After receiving Nightingale’s affirmative response, Jin Nanhua then said to Wu Bin, "Of course, I know for sure that there’s nothing wrong with your spirit."

"Wu Bin, don’t overthink it. Your visit to the Third Special Zone this time is mainly for relaxation and to observe the day-to-day work at The Ninth Research Institute."

"The security clearance for the Third Special Zone is very high, not just anyone can come in."

After Jin Nanhua finished speaking, he gestured that he had to go to work, and Wu Bin could move around freely in the Third Special Zone.

Seeing Jin Nanhua did not regard him as a patient, Wu Bin was very satisfied inside.

"Then, may I stroll by the lakeside? I’ve never seen such a big waterfall before."

Jin Nanhua nodded.

"Of course, there’s no problem, Wu Bin. Please feel free to do as you wish."

With Jin Nanhua’s approval, Wu Bin headed straight towards the waterfall.

Nightingale watched this scene with considerable worry.

"Dr. Jin, our purpose for coming here was to have you use the Pisces Jade Pendant to treat Wu Bin’s mental issues, not to take him on a tour."

"You know he does not have the special privilege to wander around the Third Special Zone; it’s against the rules."

While flipping through the documents in his hand, Jin Nanhua said with a smile, "Are you suggesting that I use the Pisces Jade Pendant to ’reset’ him?"

Nightingale nodded.

"The Pisces Jade Pendant can restore his physical state to ten days prior and eliminate all diseases in his body."

"Wu Bin is very important to The Ninth Institute; the instructions from above are to ensure his safety at all costs."

"Taking advantage of the fact that his illness has not exceeded ten days, the sooner we ’reset’ him, the better for him."

Jin Nanhua shook his head and said, "I have already reported this to the higher-ups; everything in the world has a price."

"Although the Pisces Jade Pendant has the ’reset’ function, every use produces corresponding, and sometimes even more severe, side effects."

"If Wu Bin is truly as important to The Ninth Institute as you say, have you considered the consequences of resetting him? Can The Ninth Institute afford to take that risk?"

Upon hearing this, Nightingale fell silent.

After a while, Nightingale spoke, "Dr. Jin, this is an order from the higher-ups."

"I will report the situations you mentioned."

"But none of this is a reason for you to refuse to execute the order."

"Starting now, I can give you four hours. If you have not executed the order to reset Wu Bin within four hours, then don’t blame me."

Unlike Jin Nanhua, a scientist who uses his brain, Nightingale only executes orders.

She is a perfect Executor; thinking too much is not her forte nor something she needs to consider.

As for these side effects Jin Nanhua mentioned, she believed the higher-ups had also considered them; it wasn’t her concern.

Jin Nanhua sighed.

"Although I had anticipated this response from you, I still wanted to try. Now, it seems I was too optimistic,"

he said, pushing up the glasses on the bridge of his nose. "Fine, I will report back to the organization later; you stand by over there for now."

Having said this, Jin Nanhua prepared to call headquarters to give another update.

Who would have known that right at this moment, an assistant ran over in a hurry from a distance.

"Doctor, Wu Bin says there’s something behind the waterfall and we need to go check it out."

Upon hearing Wu Bin say this, Jin Nanhua immediately became interested.

"Let’s go, let’s have a look."

Jin Nanhua led a group of researchers to the lakeside and saw Wu Bin holding a wooden stick, gesturing at something.

"Wu Bin, what did you find?"

Wu Bin raised the stick and pointed at the waterfall, "I overheard those two people say you seemed to be looking for some sort of entrance, right?"

"Look, isn’t there an entrance behind that waterfall? It looks quite stylized."

Following the direction Wu Bin was pointing,

all they could see was the turbulent waterfall. Aside from the white foam, nothing else was visible.

The others thought Wu Bin was having another psychotic episode to be saying such things.

But Jin Nanhua patiently asked, "Wu Bin, are you saying there is an entrance behind this waterfall?"

Using his own ability to see through objects, Wu Bin could vaguely make out stone carvings behind the waterfall.

However, whether those stone carvings indicated an entrance was something he was not quite certain of.

Wu Bin scratched his head, saying, "It should be an entrance. It looks similar to the tombs of emperors, with two stone carvings at the entrance, looking like a mix between a dragon and a fish."

Like a dragon and a fish?

Hearing this, Jin Nanhua became excited.

He grabbed Wu Bin’s arm and eagerly asked, "Wu Bin, can you describe it in more detail? Are the carvings you’re talking about really a mix between a dragon and a fish?"

Wu Bin was confused by Jin Nanhua’s sudden excitement.

He furrowed his brow and said, "I think so, but it’s too far away to see clearly."

"Why don’t you send someone to take a closer look? With all your advanced equipment, checking it out shouldn’t be a problem, right?"

Jin Nanhua found the suggestion reasonable and quickly said to the assistant, "Get the engineering team here to investigate whether there really are stone carvings behind the waterfall."

The assistant, somewhat reluctantly, replied, "Doctor, the water flow of this waterfall is too strong. With our current machinery, we can’t carry out a signal investigation."

"If we really want to investigate, we can only lower someone down to go through the waterfall and verify with their own eyes." n𝚘𝚟pub.𝚌o𝚖

"But this is too risky. The impact is too great, and it’s very likely that the human body won’t be able to withstand the force."

The human body is still very fragile.

Especially in such a mighty waterfall, attempting to lower someone inside for an exploration – water hitting the body would be like knives; it’s virtually impossible for someone to survive.

The assistant glanced at Wu Bin again, then whispered, "Moreover, the claim that there’s something behind the waterfall is just his word. All of us are standing here. Why haven’t we seen these so-called stone carvings?"

No matter how you look at it, the assistant was not in favor of Jin Nanhua taking Wu Bin’s word for it, risking unnecessary casualties from The Ninth Research Institute.
