One after another, I tear apart the other members of the enemy team. All without them being able to deal any actual damage to me. Because while the majority of them do manage to land attacks on me, not a single one of them actually deals any damage.
Which proves just how strong my lovely scales are.
As for my physical strength? It ends up being enough to quite literally tear one of their heads off with my bare hands.
The audience sure grew quiet when that happened.
By now though, when I finish off the last member of their team, the audience is roaring its applause again.
"And that's iiiiiit for the Velatran Team!!!!!! Every last one of their members has been wiped out by a single member from the Val Team!!!" the MC shouts, his voice echoing throughout the stadium in his excitement. "Give a round of applause for the Queen of Destruction!!!"
And just like that, the audience's already present roars of applause grow even louder. Meanwhile I actually notice some people in the audience waving around signs and flags with my name on them. Which I have to admit is a little embarrassing.
On the other hand, the team that I just demolished looks both frightened and very disappointed as they're being teleported out of the Planetary Official System Event. And the rest of the teams that watched don't have even an ounce of confidence in them as they look at me.
Almost like they're already expecting to lose.
With the sole exception of the hunter who is at level 371, that is.
That hunter looks a little excited actually.
I can figure out what's with them later though. For now I step out of the ring, following which I leave the little ruins entirely to go to the outskirts of it where I jump up onto one of the crumbled pillars for a good view of the match. Just sitting on the edge of the pillar with my hands holding the edge of the pillar next to my legs that I dangle over said edge.
Let's see what these other teams have to show me.
"Nothing worth watching," Chaos says, piquing my interest since it sounds like he's already seen some videos of their battles before. "That I have. The only one worth watching is the level 371. But even he isn't going to be a problem for you."
Huh.
Considering that they're still Class D despite their level, I can see a few potential reasons for them being here.
Either their world is lagging behind their progress and keeping them from ascending in Class so that they can participate in this. They themselves are keeping themselves from ascending in Class so that they can ascend at the level cap of their Class. Or they held themselves back to participate for the Skill Points.
"Judging by their past events, it's most likely the second option," Chaos answers while suddenly appearing next to me, which I didn't even know he could do. With his appearance immediately attracting the attention of the audience, MC, and my teammates.
Not that a single one of them say even a word about it though even if they look at him in shock as he sits down next to me and dangles his own legs over the edge just like I'm doing.

Considering how Chaos could kill them without even looking at them, it makes sense they'd stay quiet. But I am a little surprised that not a single person is mentioning him.
"That's because I put a ban on mentioning me," Chaos comments from my side as we watch the next two teams duke it out between themselves. With these teams actually losing members on both sides instead of it being a one-sided beatdown like our round was. "They can see me, but I made the System censor them should they try to mention me."
Ah. That makes sense.
Why are you here though?
Chaos glances at me and tilts his head as he asks in my mind, "Is it too hard to believe that I just want to watch a little event with my beloved daughter?"
I raise a brow.
When the event is a bunch of weaklings in your eyes, yes, it is a little hard to believe. Especially when you don't have to be here to watch it with me.
He cracks a smile before turning to watch the teams fighting again.
Several seconds pass in silence between us. Just us though, seeing as the audience is still cheering for the two teams fighting, and neither them nor the teams are quiet.
Eventually a thought comes to mind, and I glance at Chaos again with a brow raised.
Could it be that you came here just to show off that you care about me to any possible enemies I may have?
The corners of Chaos's lips quirk upwards even more, clearly signifying that I'm correct in my guess. Then he goes and pats my head, making me frown a little since he's doing it publicly in front of so many people. But I just turn my head to look at the little arena at the center of the ruins as the teams continue fighting between themselves.
On another note, I can't wait to get that skill. Because it will be very nice not breaking everything I look at.
Not even just the hurting other people, but the not breaking everything.
After all, it's incredibly annoying having to replace furniture in my room just because I accidentally looked at and therefore broke it.
But now I won't have to worry about that anymore.
I just have to continue winning every duel with ease to get that MVP title.
Which shouldn't be very difficult. I'm barely using any mana in these fights in the first place.
Definitely a benefit of testing out my physical skills. Seeing as these physical enhancement skills don't actually cost much mana at all.
Some don't even cost any.
The basic enhancement skill is a passive one that's always in effect. Technically the claw extension ones are too, it's just that I always have my claws retracted most of the time. Even the indestructible claws are always active without a mana cost.
Although the scales do cost mana to activate, and so do the wings. But they don't cost much mana.
So fighting with nothing but physical strength really doesn't cost much mana at all. Which means I'm perfectly fine for these rounds.
After all, while we are healed and fully restored mana-wise between each actual round of the tournament, we aren't restored between each battle. Meaning people can't just use up all of their mana on the first battle and expect to breeze through the second battle they fight in with ease. Since they will be out of mana.
I lean back, resting with my arms supporting me from behind, my hands on the ruined pillar as I look up at the sky of this Planetary Official System Event space.
At least I got some nice Skill Trees from some of those hunters in that first round.
Specifically the Successor of Sin, who gave me a perfect gluttony manipulation skill. Which was one I was missing. What with the first Successor of Sin I killed only having a high-stage gluttony mana manipulation skill and not a perfect one.
So now I have two different perfect sin mana manipulation skills.
Gluttony and Pride.
Not that I've actually spent any time learning how to use either of them.
Maybe I should give them a try in my next round? Since there aren't any opponents to look out for in it. And it's not like any of them can harm me.
I purse my lips for a few seconds at that thought before lowering my head again to look at the arena where I find the teams having swapped out for the next round already.
Yeah, I guess I can use the next round as a test for my new perfect manipulation skills.
"The Sin mana manipulation skills are a little finicky, so do be careful using them," Chaos says, making me nod my head. "Although most of their worst effects have no use on you."
I thought so. What with the Symbols of Sin having no effect thanks to Unchained.
On that note, I let out a yawn and continue watching as the other teams go at it.
Honestly finding this Planetary Official System Event a little boring.
