22: Chapter 22 Qin Mu I Got Married (1)_1
Jian Ran actually felt apologetic about the Pansy that Qin Mu said he had given her.
Because it was tossed away by Gu Mochen directly.
Meeting the man’s smiling eyes, as some people around them had recognized Qin Mu’s identity and started whispering, Jian Ran couldn’t help but ask, “Why are you here?”
“Picking up our Ran girl from work.
Last night, you had all of my body and soul.”
Qin Mu’s dark eyes were dead serious, gleaming with a child-like charming luster, causing Jian Ran’s heart to skip a beat.
They had merely played video games, yet Qin Mu spoke as if it were something far more intimate.
Jian Ran was momentarily at a loss for words, wanting to explain the situation with the Pansy, but remembering Gu Mochen’s admonitions and that Tang Bao was waiting for her at the kindergarten to take her home after school.
“Qin Mu…”
“I get it, you were touched by the flowers, right?
Not seeing you for a day feels as long as an eternal autumn.
I feel the same way, my dear lady; you’ve been on my mind all day.”
Having said that, Qin Mu reached out with his large hand to take Jian Ran’s smaller hand, guiding her to sit down inside his showy sports car.
This car, apart from himself, had only ever been sat in by Jian Ran, his beloved, a pristine sanctuary of sorts.
Jian Ran frowned slightly, hearing the envious, jealous, and admiring whispers from the female employees around them.
“What do you want to eat?
I’ll take you.
How about Blue Sky Building?
When you were younger, you loved the cuisine prepared by their chef.”
A shadow crossed Jian Ran’s beautiful eyes.
She thought for a moment and then said proactively, “Let’s go to the kindergarten first.”
After she said that, Jian Ran could clearly feel the hand that Qin Mu had on the steering wheel pause.
…
Not far away, in the black Maybach, Gu Mochen was sitting with his long legs crossed, his deep gaze following Jian Ran as she climbed into Qin Mu’s sports car and drove off, his thin lips curling slightly.
Jian Ran was not someone who could be easily manipulated.
It seemed to him that she hadn’t taken his warning to heart at all.
The secretary named Zhou, sitting in the driver’s seat, tentatively asked, “Mr.
Gu, the appointment for the decoration design proposal with Dongjiang Group is scheduled for tonight.
Shall we go now?”
“Hmm, call Jian Ran now and have her attend as well.
After all, she is the designer.”
Secretary Zhou: “…”
Was Mr.
Gu intentionally including Miss Jian?
“Yes…”
…
Inside the Sibel sports car:
After saying they should go to the kindergarten and informing him of the specific name, Jian Ran pursed her lips and spoke up.
“Qin Mu, I’m married…
My child is three years old, a girl named Tang Bao.”
“My husband…
He’s dead.”
Jian Ran didn’t want to lie about being married, but she couldn’t say that it was the well-known Gu Mochen, so she just claimed he was dead—a lie that needed no further perpetuation.
Qin Mu’s original apprehension about driving to the kindergarten was completely disturbed by what Jian Ran had said.
He hit the brakes abruptly, stopping the car in the middle of the road, grasping Jian Ran’s hand tightly and asked incredulously.
“Ran girl, what did you say?”
“Even though he’s gone, we loved each other very much.
So, in the future, I just want to live with Tang Bao, just the two of us.
Qin Mu, can you understand what I mean?”
After her three-year marriage contract with Gu Mochen ended, she, now with the fact of divorce hanging over her, planned to live forever with just Tang Bao, according to her expectation.
The main point was, she could tell that Qin Mu had feelings for her, so she didn’t want to hold him back.
He deserved better.
Back in their younger days, she had rejected him once because of Han Siming.
