Chapter 245 - 244: Big Brother You Are Shameless

This made him frown in displeasure. Why was his daughter giving that much attention to some random stinky man?
"Is that so? Then we won't hold you up, Glazed Light Realm," Mu Xuanyin replied coolly. Without waiting for a response, she grabbed Yun Wuji and flew right past him.
"See you later, Shui Qianheng," Luo Guxie added with a polite nod before taking off as well, Jasmine trailing behind her without a word..
Watching the three women leave, Shui Qianheng remained still, a deep frown settling on his face. Something felt off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"Strange... That big brother gives me a weird feeling," Shui Meiyin suddenly murmured in her delicate voice.
"What did you sense, Meiyin?" Her older sister, Shui Yingyue, gently placed a hand on her shoulder and asked.
Shui Meiyin was born with the Divine Stainless Soul, a rare gift that granted her many miraculous abilities. Among them were the power to see into people's hearts and understand their true thoughts, the ability to sense premonitions of danger, and several other extraordinary skills. Naturally, her offensive abilities were just as terrifyingly powerful.
When they heard Shui Meiyin's words, they took them seriously. The little girl placed her index finger on her lips, deep in thought. After a moment, she shook her head. "I'm not sure. I just feel that big brother gives off a strange feeling, but it's not a bad feeling."
"Is that so?" Shui Qianheng remained silent for a moment before speaking. "Alright, let's put it behind us and keep moving."
He gave the order for the hawk to resume flying, then stood quietly, staring into the distance, lost in thought about what had happened earlier.

'What?!' Blood sprayed from his chest as Shui Qianheng was blasted off the Hawk by the force of the attack. The sneak attack came so fast that he had no time to react. If it hadn't been for his Divine Master instincts, his heart would have been pierced, and he would have been dead in an instant!
"!!!" He twisted his body to see who had attacked, but before he could react, a blue short blade suddenly pierced his right chest once again. This time, he had no time to defend. A hellishly cold energy surged from the blade, swiftly encasing him in ice, turning him into a frozen block.
Two sudden and abrupt attacks struck in quick succession. An 8th Level Divine Master, one of the strongest in the Eastern Divine Region, was completely defeated in an instant. He didn't even have the chance to see his attacker's face before he was frozen into a solid block of ice.
"You two make a great team," Yun Wuji said suddenly, as he and Luo Guxie appeared, landing on the back of the Hawk. He nodded approvingly at Jasmine and Mu Xuanyin.

As though waking from a nightmare, the three women turned deathly pale, exclaiming in shock and panic. Shui Yingyue desperately tried to rush to her father, but a sudden cold pressure, heavy with killing intent, descended upon her.
"Move one more step and you'll die," Jasmine's cold voice froze Shui Yingyue in her tracks. The girl stood motionless, not daring to move even a finger, her body trembling faintly under the oppressive killing intent of the Heavenly Slaughter Star God.
Mu Xuanyin threw the block of ice into the Hawk and landed beside Yun Wuji. She glanced at the frozen Shui Qianheng and asked, "What should we do with him?"
"This guy is so unlucky. I originally had a good impression of the Glazed Light Realm," Yun Wuji muttered helplessly as he stared at Shui Qianheng. He hadn't wanted to hurt them at all. The man's eyes were still wide open, his face pale with a bluish hue, and his mouth frozen half open; he had been sealed in ice before he could say a word. He stayed like that for a few seconds before his mind finally caught up. When he looked at the three of them, his eyes were filled with dread and fury. His voice trembled as he forced the words out, still hoarse from the freezing chill invading his body.
"What... What is... the meaning of... this?!"
"..." The three women ignored him completely.
"Glazed Light Realm's Realm King, I apologize, this wasn't something we wanted to do," Yun Wuji spoke with a gentle smile, his tone impeccably polite. "But you've seen something you shouldn't have. And the only way to keep it that way... is to make sure you stay quiet."
"Seen something I shouldn't have?" Shui Qianheng stared blankly, momentarily bewildered by the words. But it didn't take long for the meaning to click, and when it did, his eyes flared with anger. Just because he saw them together, they wanted to silence him?! What kind of bullshit logic was that?!
What kind of insane person would do this?! Unless...
Unless they were planning something earth-shattering, something so catastrophic it would make them this paranoid.

"May I ask, what exactly is this Soul Mark?" Shui Qianheng asked.
"It is a curse similar to the Brahma Soul Death-Wishing Mark," Yun Wuji replied simply. The Infinite Agony Soul Mark was similar to the Brahma Soul Death-Wishing Mark, but there were key differences. First, the former didn't consume as much soul origin. Second, it could be triggered by a specific condition.
