Fifi sat cross-legged on her soft yellow blanket, ears twitching slightly as she hugged a round pillow.
It had been three days since Lucius let her rest.
No more war rooms. No more simulations.
Just soft things and warm lights.
Fiona was drying her fiery-orange hair with a towel.
She then peeked over from her bed across the room.
"You're looking brighter today."
Fifi looked up and gave a tiny nod. "Mhm. My legs don't hurt anymore."
Fiona smiled and tossed the towel aside.
"Good. You were scaring me for a bit. I thought you'd go all quiet forever."
"I was just tired," Fifi mumbled, voice soft.
"I didn't know rest could feel this nice…"
She stretched her arms up with a yawn, then blinked at Fiona.
"Big Sis Fiona?"
Fiona blinked. "Big Sis?"
Fifi's eyes went wide.
"Oh. I… I wasn't supposed to say that? I'm sorry. Am I not allowed?"
Fiona burst out laughing, then stood up and crossed the room in two steps.
She plopped down next to Fifi and gave her a gentle noogie.
"Of course you're allowed, dummy. You can call me Big Sis as much as you want."
Fifi giggled, relaxing. "Okay. Big Sis Fiona."
Fiona nudged her shoulder. "That's better."
They sat in silence for a moment.
Fifi played with the edge of her blanket while Fiona leaned back on her palms.
Then Fiona asked, "Hey, Fifi… can I ask you something?"
Fifi tilted her head. "What is it?"
Fiona turned to face her.
"Now that you're safe, now that you're free…"
"What do you want to do? Like… really?"
Fifi stared ahead, blinking slowly. Her mouth opened, but no words came.
"I don't know," she said finally.
"It's the first time I've ever been safe."
"The first time I've had… choices. I don't even know what I like yet."
Fiona nodded. "That's fair."
Fifi looked up. "What about you, Big Sis? What do you want?"
Fiona's eyebrows lifted. "Me?"
Fifi nodded again. "You're strong. And pretty."
"And everyone cheers for you… but what do you want?"
Fiona paused. Then smiled.
"I want to be the best streamer in the world."
Fifi blinked. "Streamer?"
Fiona chuckled. "Right… you probably don't know what that is."
Fifi shook her head. "Is it a kind of fighter?"
Fiona laughed louder. "Kinda! But not with just fists."
She stood up and spun around dramatically.
"A streamer is someone who shows their fights to the world! Live!"
"With fans watching and cheering! It's like performing and battling at the same time."
Fifi's eyes sparkled. "People… cheer for you while you fight?"
"Yup. They send hearts. Comments. Even gifts."
"And if you're good—like really good—they remember your name."
Fifi's voice dropped to a whisper. "I want that too…"
Fiona turned to her, surprised. "Really?"
Fifi nodded, clutching her pillow. "Not the cheering."
"But… if I do good, and people remember my name… maybe I won't disappear again."
Fiona didn't answer right away. She just stared at Fifi, eyes steady.
Then, without a word, she leaned over and pulled the bunny girl into a warm, full hug.
"You're not gonna disappear," Fiona said quietly. "Not ever again."
Fifi's hands slowly lifted, hugging her back.
Her ears brushed against Fiona's cheek. "Promise?"
"I promise," Fiona said, holding her tighter.
"You're one of us now. You're Fifi Fluffiel. Divine-tier thunder bunny of Luxoria."
Fifi gave a tiny laugh. "That sounds funny."
Fiona grinned. "You think that's funny? Then listen to this."
She leaned back, hands on Fifi's shoulders. 𝑛𝘰𝘷𝑝𝘶𝑏.𝑐𝘰𝘮
"You're gonna be my co-star. My sidekick. My lightning mascot."
"No—my secret weapon."
Fifi blinked. "I am?"
Fiona nodded proudly. "Yup. And more than that—you can be the idol in my show."
Fifi tilted her head. "What's an idol?"
Fiona paused. "You really don't know?"
Fifi shook her head. "Is it another kind of fighter?"
Fiona laughed and stood up, striking a pose with both hands on her hips.
"An idol is someone everyone loves!"
"They're bright, shiny, fun to watch! They dance, sing, smile, make people happy."
"And when they fight, they shine even brighter!"
Fifi's eyes widened. "Like… like a bunny star?"
"Exactly!" Fiona winked.
"You already look like one."
"All we need is a cool outfit, maybe a theme song, and a lot of sparkly lights."
Fifi's ears drooped a little. "But I don't know how to dance… or sing…"
Fiona sat back down and poked her forehead.
"Neither did I when I started. You learn. We practice together."
"You'll teach me?"
Fiona nodded. "Of course. That's what big sisters do, right?"
Fifi's eyes lit up. "Okay. Then I'll try. I'll be your idol bunny."
Fiona reached into a drawer and pulled out a hairclip shaped like a lightning bolt.
"Then the idol look starts now."
She carefully clipped it to Fifi's hair, just above her left ear.
Fifi touched it gently, smiling.
"It's warm," she whispered.
"Made from real Luxorite. Special stuff. Looks good on you."
Fifi's cheeks turned pink. "T-Thank you…"
Fiona tilted her head. "Wanna try a pose?"
Fifi blinked. "Like… idol pose?"
Fiona stood and put one hand on her hip, one hand raised with two fingers in a peace sign.
"Like this. Easy. Just smile and strike."
Fifi got up slowly, imitating the pose. "Like this?"
"Closer… no, raise your hand higher. Smile wider—yes! That's it!"
They both giggled.
Then Fifi whispered, "Do you think… Master Lucius will watch us?"
Fiona paused. "He always watches. If we shine bright enough… he'll be proud."
Fifi looked down, then whispered again, "I want him to be proud."
Fiona reached out and squeezed her hand.
"Then let's give him the best show he's ever seen."
Fifi smiled. "Let's sparkle together."
Fiona nodded. "Yeah. Let's light up the world."
Meanwhile, Lucius stood alone in the control room, eyes fixed on the screen.
The camera feed showed Fifi and Fiona laughing, posing, smiling like the world didn't scare them anymore.
He watched for a while. Then a small smile touched his lips.
"She's not that shy anymore," he murmured. "Good."
He tapped the edge of the console with one finger.
"Fiona shines. Fifi follows. Just as planned."
He turned away from the screen.
"But playtime's over," he said softly. "It's almost time."
He pressed a button. "Let's give them a new mission."
