Chapter 385: Chapter 383 Talent Awakening

Chapter 385: Chapter 383 Talent Awakening

Sally went to open the door, and there stood Jason Deira, Zulu’s second brother.

Behind him was a bullock cart, filled to the brim with boxes.

“You must be Auro’s daughter, Sally Millet, right? I’m Zulu’s second brother.” Jason quickly scanned Sally’s clothes. Those were the kind of clothes worn by females from the Eastern District, which couldn’t be bought here even if one had Crystal Coins.

It seemed his father was right to have him deliver these extra things.

“Second brother, please, come in,” Sally greeted warmly.

“No worries.” Jason called into the house, “Zulu, come and give me a hand.”

Zulu didn’t come, but Lin Lang and Robby ran out instead.

Seeing the stuff on the cart, they immediately understood what it meant.

Without a word, they started moving the items.

Sally smiled and said, “Thank you, second brother, please come inside.”

“No, it’s fine. I just came to deliver these things,” Jason replied, his eyes glancing past Sally.

Three young members of the Rabbit Clan and the Rat Clan ran out from inside, curiously hiding behind Sally as they looked at him.

The sense from their bloodlines allowed him to immediately confirm that the three little ones were Zulu’s children, “These must be Zulu’s kids, aren’t they? They are very good-looking.”

Sally looked down at the three little ones. All of them were in their beast bodies, and it wasn’t easy to tell what was so good-looking about them, except their fur was shiny and smooth, as beautiful as brocade under the sunlight.

“This is your father’s second brother, call him Uncle Second.”

The three little ones obediently called out to him.

Jason hastily searched his pockets and eventually pulled out a few Red Coins, not having much on him since things at home were strictly controlled, “I’ll give you your meeting gifts later on.”

“Second brother, there’s no need. You’ve already brought so much.”

“It’s necessary, or how could I face Zulu in the future.”

“They really don’t need anything; let’s go inside and talk.”

“Not today, I still have things to do. Another day, another day.” Jason prepared to leave as the goods were unloaded and turned the cart around.

“We’ve prepared a table full of delicious dishes. Second brother, stay and try them,” Lin Lang persuaded Jason, holding him back from leaving.

Jason smelled the delicious aroma wafting from the courtyard, his mouth watering, but had to hurry back as the Clan Leader dad was waiting at home, “Next time, I will definitely stay for a meal.”

Zulu had arrived too, and although he was still in the same clothes, they looked cleaner and even had a faint, noticeable scent of wood.

Sally looked at him with a smile twinkling in her eyes.

Zulu’s cheeks turned a shade of pink.

Auro also came by, insistent on making him stay.

In the end, Jason couldn’t refuse and decided to stay.

A large long table was set up in the courtyard, covered with a feast of tasty dishes. The three little ones sat next to Sally.

Sally had prepared special milk powder for the cubs, and after they drank it and nibbled on some dishes, they started to get sleepy.

“Shishi are used to sleeping early. I’ll take them to wash up and go to bed. You guys go ahead with the meal,” Sally said, taking the children away from the dining table.

Zulu quickly followed her, “I’ll take them.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’ve looked after my nephews and nieces before.”

“Alright, then you try,” Sally let Zulu take the three children to wash up and go to bed.

Watching them enter the house, Sally returned to the dining table, poured a glass of wine, and said to Jason, “Thank you, second brother, for bringing so many things from afar; I’ll drink to your honor first, second brother, please feel free.”

Since the children were around, it wasn’t appropriate for Sally to toast with wine, but now that they were gone, she could drink freely.

“Little sister, drink less. We’re all family here, no need for formalities,” Jason also downed the wine in his cup.

Auro watched his daughter drinking boldly, even more heartily than Robby, and he said to Robby, “Toast with your sister.”

“It’s my turn to toast with my brother,” Sally said, “wishing my brother finds a sister-in-law who’s a perfect match soon.”

“I’ll, I’ll do my best,” Robby quickly downed a glass as well.

“I also want to toast to Brother Lin Lang for looking after the home. I will have to trouble you more in the future.”

“It’s what I should do,” replied Lin Lang.

Lin Lang kept his feelings for Sally deeply hidden in his heart. He was her brother, and nothing more than that.

With the meal over and everyone full from wine, Lin Lang and Jason left together.

Zulu hadn’t left because Sally had told him to stay earlier. And now, with his children there, even if he were asked to leave, he wouldn’t.

On the not-so-spacious bed, the three children lay in the middle, with Sally and Zulu on either side.

“Just chatting?” Sally eyed Zulu with a flirtatious gaze.

Zulu’s face was flushed as he looked at the three children, “Hmm, today… today I’ll stay with the children to sleep.”

Sally feigned a disappointed sigh, hugging Shishi in her arms, “Alright then, goodnight, children’s father.”

Zulu was worried that she had just come back and was exhausted, so he suppressed his own desires. Seeing that she seemed a bit unhappy, and not sure what to do, he lay anxiously on the side of the bed and fell asleep.

The next morning.

The three little ones got up early, wanting to follow Zulu into the Beast Forest to hunt and pick fruit.

Sally yawned, her eyes bleary and her demeanor exceptionally lazy and enticing.

Zulu felt his body heat up at the sight, but quickly suppressed it again… taking the kids to hunt in the Beast Forest was more important.

Sally made sure the children were well-fed and sent them off to the Beast Forest with Zulu.

Meanwhile, Auro and Robby had already gone out to work early on.

In the end, Sally was left at home alone.

“[Host, Little Fengning wants to see you.]”

“[Hmm? Then I’ll take him for a while.]”

Sally moved Little Fengning out of the System Space.

Little Fengning happily waved his little arms in her arms, vigorously kicking his legs.

“So happy, eh?” Sally laughed, took out a lounge chair from the System Space, lay down on it, and basked in the sun while holding Little Fengning.

In the sunlight, Little Fengning’s skin was so white it was translucent and extremely beautiful.

Sally compared her own arm to his… although hers was also white, it was a warm white. Little Fengning had a light, cool tone, probably inherited from Welly.

Suddenly, Little Fengning spat out a small fireball.

The small fireball fell to the ground and instantly burned a hole several meters deep in the ground.

Sally jumped in fright!

“[Xiaomei, what’s this?]”

“[The Talents that Little Fengning has absorbed inside him have already begun to awaken, to be used by him. He saw the sun and spit out a fireball like the sun.]”

“[…This imagination. What if he saw a cow?]”

“[The host can try it.]”

“[There was a wild ox in the pen, I remember, not sure if it’s still there.]”

But it turned out the ox was no longer there.

Sally then carried Little Fengning to check a few melon and vegetable sprouts in the corner of the wall.

Little Fengning happily kicked his legs, and then little hands grabbed at the air, making those melon and vegetable sprouts suddenly grow taller and produce golden melons.

“[What’s this?]”

“[He’s using the Wood Element Talent.]”

“[…Talent seems as simple to him as breathing.]”

“[Yes, host. For a Primordial Demon, control over Talent is 100%, natural and without the need for cultivation.]”

“[This is simply, freakishly strong!]” Sally couldn’t think of any other way to describe it.

“[But isn’t he now without the Primordial Demon Heart, how does he still have these Talents?]”

“[For the Talents he has already absorbed, they have merged into his very bones and blood, and will not disappear due to the loss of the Primordial Demon Heart.]”

“[What about the Gluttony Talent?]”

“[It’s also there!]”

“[Gluttony can move mountains and seas, he won’t…]”

“[Yes, host.]”

“[For now, let’s continue to keep him in the space. When he can control his own Talents and stops using them at will, then we can let him out.]”

“[Host, can I let him play games? It might help train his control over Talent.]”

“[You just want those 100% Talent data, don’t you?]”

“[Hehe~ Can’t hide anything from the host.]”

“[If it can help wear off some of his energy, that’s fine.]”

In the Qingmu Original Beast Forest—

Zulu transformed into a gigantic blue-grey rabbit, as large as an elephant, hopping and running forward at a speed that was neither fast nor slow.

The three little cubs, hopping or running on his back, were having the time of their lives.
