Chapter 490: Chapter 488 Little Full Moon Celebration
Chapter 490: Chapter 488 Little Full Moon Celebration
As dawn broke, the Teleportation Array at the Beast Emperor’s Palace lit up.
Robby Millet supported a round-faced, cute, and shy-looking delicate female, carrying a basket on his back, as they stepped out of the Teleportation Array.
Auro followed closely behind, holding two large hemp sacks in one hand.
Sally and Zi Qi were waiting for them outside the Teleportation Array.
Zulu led a group of children, instructing them to line up properly. However, the little cubs were playful; the older ones would line up nicely while the younger ones scattered around in joy. Once the younger ones were under control, the older ones would gather together, getting into mischief again… In the end, Zulu was flustered and sweating profusely, unable to get the line formed properly.
When they finally saw Auro and the others coming, they swarmed around, clamoring with calls of ‘Grandpa!’, ‘Grandma!’, ‘Uncle!’, ‘Aunt!’, creating quite the commotion.
Robby’s wife, named Tia Gullymore, was the most beloved youngest daughter of the Beast Emperor of the Western District. Her beast form was a red panda, without any special talents but with superior fertility. Shortly after marrying Robby, she became pregnant.
She gave birth to quadruplets, one female, who looked a lot like Yohanes; and three fluffy male panda cubs who were especially adorable.
Upon seeing the three panda cubs, Sally’s heart melted instantly, “They’re too cute! Sister-in-law is so good at giving birth!”
Tia’s slender, snowy neck flushed red with shyness, “Sally, you flatter me too much, your children have much better talents.”
“Talent comes from the male side, it has nothing to do with sister-in-law.” Sally held the basket, looking affectionately at the four little cubs inside. “What are their names?”
“The oldest is named Yora Millet,” Tia responded. “He was named by Grandpa, after Yona’s standing in the family.”
“Sounds nice. My father is absolutely brilliant at naming; every name he picks is incredibly charming,” Sally praised.
Auro, following behind, laughed upon hearing this and said to Zi Qi, “I simply followed the ranking she had given the children and picked names at random, and he does look a lot like Shishi.”
Zi Qi, standing by, nodded with a smile, “I saw earlier, they indeed look alike.”
Sally asked, “What about the other three?”
Tia answered, “The second eldest, the one with the biggest head, is named Jim Millet. The third one, the one with the longest tail that has nine rings, is Finn Millet. The youngest, with a fierce look, is called Antoni Gullymore. He’s named after my father’s surname, and the name was given by him.”
Sally took out four little storage bags from the System Space and placed one on each child, “This is a meeting gift from your auntie. Grow up healthy and happy, okay~”
…
Taiping Palace.
A palace used only for grand banquets.
Although Yangyang, Xiaoxiao, and Little Beibei weren’t Zi Qi’s children, he didn’t neglect them in the slightest, ensuring everything was very grand, inside and out.
Yin Zang, upon learning that Sally had new additions to the family, also came to celebrate.
He brought many gifts.
Since the cultural and tourist exchange began between the Eastern District and Northern Region, the Northern Region had developed very well over the past few years, which was apparent from Yin Zang’s attire.
With brocade, fur coats, tiger-skin boots, rings with five colored gemstones, and a spatial ring on his hands.
“This is a full moon gift for the children,” Yin Zang said, pulling out a large gift box from his spatial ring.
Sally accepted it, “Thank you, Silver Emperor. We have many guests today, so please forgive us for any lack of attention to your needs.”
“Go on with your work. As long as I have fine food and wine, I’m content,” Yin Zang was clearly there to enjoy himself.
Sally smiled, “Good, let’s chat later then.”
Sally hadn’t mentioned You Hao’s identity to Auro yet, otherwise her father might not have been able to stay calm today. She decided to wait until the full moon celebration was over.
You Hao had subdued the divine light from the Nine Heavens Kunpeng Eggs, to avoid drawing too much attention.
Little Beibei, being a little black mouse with eyes that had become glossy like brilliant pearls, was actually more eye-catching.
Upon seeing the two eggs, Auro wasn’t surprised, since the offspring of the Rat Clan and Bird Clan frequently emerged from eggs. However, Little Beibei, with its shiny black fur, did intrigue him.
“Sally, why is this one black?” Auro inquired.
“I’m not entirely sure,” Sally replied. “Before this, there was Little Shisi, a black Nine-tailed Celestial Fox. And as for Xiaohao, he certainly takes after his father.”
“It might be a case of atavism. My paternal aunt had a black lamb among her sheep offspring as well. Both my paternal aunt and her husband are from the Yellow Sheep Tribe.”
Sally laughed, “Exactly, you never know what they might inherit.”
Auro placed Little Yora and Little Beibei together, one grey-blue, the other black, one big and one small.
“So cute.” Sally stroked the two of them.
[Xiaomei, does Little Yora have any talents?] Sally asked.
Xiaomei replied: [No.]
[Can you see the Fertility Strength?] Sally suddenly became curious, it seemed that none of her children had data on Fertility Strength.
Xiaomei replied: [Too young to tell.]
Zi Qi came over and said to Sally, “The auspicious time is almost here, let’s start preparing for the baptism.”
“Alright.” Sally nodded. “I’ll go change my clothes.”
By the time Sally returned to the banquet hall in a pure white, elegant gown, all eyes were on her.
“Yanyan.” Zi Qi came over and took her hand.
“Qi, thank you for your hard work today.” Sally pursed her lips, her eyes forming beautiful crescents.
Zi Qi: “…It’s okay, they are my children too.”
“Mhm.” Sally nodded.
You Hao waited for Sally, and when she was close enough, he whispered, “You look truly beautiful today!”
“I’m also very beautiful on a regular basis, right?” Sally laughed, then looked at Zi Qi, ready to start.
A basin of Spiritual Liquid and a pair of golden scissors inlaid with gemstones were brought to the baptism platform.
You Hao, extremely nervous, passed Yangyang to Zi Qi first, “I don’t understand any of this; it’s all up to you now.”
Zi Qi said with a smile, “Okay. Normally, there would be a Sacrificial Clan praying to the gods, but since your true self is here, it’s not necessary. It’s mainly a formality.”
“Okay, just arrange it as you see fit,” You Hao said, nervous yet excited.
Yangyang and Xiaoxiao, being just two eggs, didn’t have much to work with, so after their bath in the Spiritual Liquid, they were placed back into their specially prepared nests.
Xiaoqi came running with Xiaoba in his arms, joining in the excitement and tossing Xiaoba into the Spiritual Liquid, “Mom, let’s also give my little brother a bath.”
Sally couldn’t help but laugh, “He’s joining the fray too.”
You Hao said, “Let’s do it; not having hatched doesn’t mean he wasn’t born.”
Zi Qi gently pinched Xiaoqi’s round ear, “No more mischief.”
“Okay, okay.” Xiaoqi sensed that Zi Qi didn’t seem too happy, so he thought causing a little commotion might cheer him up.
Sure enough, a hint of joy appeared deep within the amethyst eyes.
After baptizing Xiaoba, it was Little Beibei’s turn.
Sally picked up the scissors and snipped a strand of Little Beibei’s fine, soft, black down, handing it to You Hao for safekeeping.
You Hao treasured it greatly, placing it in a small box made from Superior Divine Crystals, where he could clearly see the strand of black hair, “I will craft an Artifact to keep it in the future.”
…
Welly and Ming Linyuan, with Little Shiyi in tow, had come from the Dark Continent.
Seeing that the ceremony had started, Ming Linyuan let Little Shiyi go directly to the table where the young cubs were seated, while he and Welly found their seats at the table with Zong Silu.
“How long has it been going on?” Ming Linyuan asked Zong Silu in a low voice.
“Just started,” Zong Silu replied softly. “Just got word, another guest is arriving soon.”
“Who?” Ming Linyuan looked around at the other guests, all of whom seemed to have some connection with Sally.
Welly’s gaze remained fixed on Sally. She, dressed in white, had a gentle and pure smile, so beautiful!
