Chapter 613: Chapter 611: Wishing Dragon…
…
In the dead of night, Xiaoqi stood atop the mountaintop stone platform, making a wish upon the low-hanging stars in the sky—
“Divine Dragon Lord, grant Xiaoqi a treasure bead, be it black or white; Xiaoqi shall not disdain it. Better yet, bestow a pair, and Xiaoqi will prostrate in gratitude!”
A pair of black and white pearls appeared on the stone platform.
Xiaoqi’s azure eyes suddenly widened in amazement!
“Wow! It really works!!! I’ll go tell Little Miqi.” She picked up the pearls and ran off.
Soon Little Miqi flew over, and did as Xiaoqi had said, “Divine Dragon Lord, grant Little Miqi a treasure bead, be it black or white; Little Miqi shall not disdain it. Better yet, bestow a pair, and Little Miqi will prostrate in gratitude!”
A pair of black and white pearls appeared on the stone platform.
…
Sally was in a dazed slumber, listening to the sounds of coming and going from the two opposite rooms.
It seemed they were visiting each other to play, so she did not bother them and turned over to continue sleeping.
The next morning, all eight children were lying in bed asleep, with a pair of black and white pearls beside each Baobao’s pillow.
Rubbing her eyes for a clearer look, it seemed they were real.
Where did these pearls come from?
Recalling the commotion they made last night, could it be that they had run out?
Sally let them keep sleeping.
She left the villa and looked around, discovering a narrow, long path.
So she followed the path all the way to the mountaintop.
Here was a massive, exceptionally flat stone.
Sally placed a cushion on it, closed her eyes, and meditated, exhaling the old and inhaling the new.
But as she sat, her keen senses alerted her to someone watching her; she opened her eyes to see.
A man dressed in dark black with a golden dragon pattern stood by the giant rock.
He had a cold and resolute expression, with long eyebrows extending into his temple, dragon-like eyes provocatively lifted, pupils shining brilliantly like the fires of the Flame Sea, a perfectly straight nose as if supporting a gallbladder, lips as fresh as dew-kissed petals, skin clear and lustrous as flawless jade, his beauty unmatched in all realms.
Sally felt as if struck by lightning, her eyes went dim-witted, and her saliva almost flooded in a conditioned reflex!
She had always thought that her Beast Husbands were the epitome of perfection, conclusively impossible to surpass… but, impossibly, calling him a demon of beauty would be an understatement.
He concealed all his aura, and his silky black hair flowed with the gentle mountaintop breeze, dancing like a spirit.
“What is your wish?” he asked in a low voice.
It took Sally a moment to respond, “Do you think I’m like those little ones, here to make a wish with you?”
“Aren’t you?”
“…You’re not the Wishing Dragon.” Sally smiled wryly, “Look, those little ones’ wishes, whatever they’re worth, I’ll give you an equivalent exchange.”
“Equivalent exchange?”
“Yes.”
“There were six wishes in total.”
“…” Sally was speechless, “What… what is your wish?”
“First, I wish for you all to leave.”
“Alright, don’t bother with the rest.” Sally raised her hand to stop him, “It’s not that I don’t want to leave, but there is no way out. For the past half-month, we’ve been going around in circles. You’ve seen it yourself, I’ve checked even the cliffs and valleys for a spatial crack… Wait, why am I so stupid! Searching for a donkey while riding on it!”
Immediately, Sally got off the stone, but after taking a few steps, she stopped again, “What’s the second wish?”
“Let’s accomplish the first one first.” The man’s figure vanished.
Sally paused for a moment, then turned and ran back.
Little Miqi was groggily woken up by Sally, “Mom, what’s going on?”
Sally asked, “Can you leave this world? Go back to the Divine Realm or the Immortal Realm.”
Little Miqi shook her head, “I can leave, but whether the outside world is the Divine Realm or the Immortal Realm, Little Miqi does not know.”
“You can?” As long as she left this world and entered the Main System’s world, she could return.
After breakfast, Sally gathered the other children into the System Space, reverted to her Beast Body, and let Little Miqi hold her.
“Darling, we’re going home,” Sally said to Little Miqi.
Little Miqi’s body emitted the Angel Holy Light, and gradually, the surrounding space seemed to turn into a room.
There was a door in each of the four cardinal directions.
Sally was surprised, “Little Miqi, what Talent is this?”
“I don’t know. The last time we returned to the Divine Realm, I discovered a door. Passing through that door took us to the Divine Realm. This time there are four doors, three more than before.” Little Miqi said, “My father said he doesn’t understand it either.”
“If he understood, he would have ascended long ago,” Sally replied. “So, out of these four doors, which one do you want to go through?”
“Mom, you decide,” Little Miqi said cheerfully.
“…Let’s have your Sister Xiaoqi decide,” Sally brought Xiaoqi out of the System Space.
Little Miqi looked at the two identical little white mice in her arms, her eyes curving into two beautiful crescents.
Xiaoqi blinked her blue eyes and pointed to the door in the west, “That one.”
“What about the other three?” Sally asked.
Xiaoqi replied, “Behind the other three doors, there’s nothing but pitch-black vortexes. Xiaoqi doesn’t know what they are, but from the western one, there are voices of people talking.”
Sally nodded, “Alright, then we’ll go through the door in the west.”
“Mom, can we wait a bit longer? Xiaoqi wants to dig up more Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures,” Xiaoqi coveted the treasures of this place.
Sally patted her head, “Let’s go back. This isn’t our turf anyway, and the owners are probably looking forward to our departure.”
“Oh,” Xiaoqi nodded.
Sally put her back into the System Space and said to Little Miqi, “Go to the door in the west.”
Little Miqi was about to leave but looked towards the distant mountain, where there was a vague figure.
Sally also looked over. When it came down to it, she didn’t even know his name, “Let’s go.”
Little Miqi pushed the door open.
Sally took one more glance at the figure and entered the other world with Little Miqi.
…
Guping World.
Dolphin Bay Villa No. 1090.
000 lay on a beach chair, wearing sunglasses and lazily sipping a drink while basking in the sun.
Sally jumped out of Little Miqi’s embrace and landed, transforming back into human form.
“Is this specifically waiting for us, or is it a coincidence?” Sally stroked Little Miqi’s head, “Say hello to Uncle Zero.”
“Hello, Uncle Zero, I’m Little Miqi,” Little Miqi approached him, tilting her head to peer at his glasses.
000 took off his glasses, revealing a pair of very stylish, slender eyes; the first glance was extremely cold, but the second glance was exceptionally warm, “If you like them, I’ll give them to you.”
Little Miqi took them, tried them on, then looked back at Sally and exclaimed, “Mom— you turned into a skeleton! And there are so many numbers inside your body.”
“Oops, forgot to turn off the data,” 000 said, snapping his fingers.
The data vanished from Little Miqi’s sight.
Sally was taken aback, then wryly smiled, “So in your eyes, I’m just a skeleton, not the least bit beautiful.”
“Even if it’s a skeleton, it would still be the most beautiful skeleton,” 000 retorted.
Sally’s smile grew deeper, “Seems like I’ve been consoled.”
