Qin Rumeng pushed Ye Xunhuan aside and started chatting with Qiu Ruoxi alone.
"You know, I am very dissatisfied with you; you are not worthy of being Xunhuan’s wife," Qin Rumeng did not hide her true thoughts from within. "If it weren’t for my sister asking Xunhuan to marry you, you would have no qualification to step through the Qin family’s door!"
Upon hearing Qin Rumeng’s words, Qiu Ruoxi really wanted to retort harshly. Did you think I wanted to marry this jerk? Even if he’s your nephew, what of it?
But now that Qiu Ruoxi had learned of Qin Rumeng’s status, she couldn’t treat Qin Rumeng this way.
"It’s not that I want to differentiate between classes and insist on a match of equal social standing," Qin Rumeng said indifferently. "It’s just that I have disliked you from the beginning!"

Qiu Ruoxi’s face slightly changed. Although she had never met Willow Qing, she had heard of her—an all-capable exceptional woman, a well-known socialite of the capital.
Countless men wanted to marry her, yet now Qin Rumeng was saying that Willow Qing wanted to marry Ye Xunhuan.
Given Qin Rumeng’s status and position, there was absolutely no need for her to spread such trivial lies.

"Don’t always think you are above it all. In front of Xunhuan, you really count for nothing!" Qin Rumeng said coldly. "With his status and identity, it would be beneath him to match with you!"
"Do you still think you are the proud daughter of heaven?"
Who is unworthy of whom is now the question.
"I know you are discontent and think I rely on my ancestors’ blessings for what I have today, but if it weren’t for the blessings of my ancestors, I might not be any better off than you," Qin Rumeng’s piercing gaze seemed to see through Qiu Ruoxi’s most genuine thoughts. "But if it were not for your father paving the way for you in advance, what would you be?"
"A rising star in the Jiang Central Market business scene?" Qin Rumeng scoffed dismissively. "Without the path that your father paved in advance, you would be nothing more than a manager at best!"
"So, you and I are the same kind of people, both reliant on our ancestors’ blessings for our achievements today!"
"Of course, you might also think that without the Qin family, Xunhuan would not amount to much!" Qin Rumeng said emphatically. "But I tell you, even without the Qin family, Xunhuan is beyond your understanding; you simply do not understand him."
Qiu Ruoxi’s face grew increasingly dim. Qin Rumeng was right; she really didn’t understand Ye Xunhuan at all, not in the slightest.
If it hadn’t been for Qin Rumeng’s appearance, she wouldn’t even have known that Ye Xunhuan was the grandson of the northern Qin family, and potentially the future leader of the Qin family.

"However, I’ll give you a chance, a chance to slap my face, a chance to humiliate me!" Qin Rumeng said emphatically!
Ye Xunhuan, standing by, watched Qin Rumeng and Qiu Ruoxi anxious with each other. To be honest, he was really worried that Qin Rumeng and Qiu Ruoxi would start fighting. He wanted to read Qin Rumeng’s lips to figure out what she was saying, but Qin Rumeng turned her back to him, making it impossible for him to decipher her words through lip-reading.
This left Ye Xunhuan with no choice but to stare blankly. However, seeing that neither of them seemed intent on arguing, he breathed a sigh of relief. Maybe they wouldn’t start fighting after all?
Although he thought this, Ye Xunhuan continued to watch Qin Rumeng and Qiu Ruoxi closely, just in case they started fighting.

Seeing this, Ye Xunhuan immediately walked over.
"Honey, are you okay?"
Qiu Ruoxi ignored Ye Xunhuan and instead watched Qin Rumeng’s retreating figure, a flicker of combativeness in her eyes.
Suddenly, Qiu Ruoxi shouted at Qin Rumeng’s retreating figure, "Auntie, you’re definitely going to lose!"
Upon hearing Qiu Ruoxi’s words, the corners of Qin Rumeng’s mouth curled into an undecipherable, inscrutable smile.
Ye Xunhuan was stunned. What exactly did these two women just say? Were they making some sort of bet?
"Honey, what did Auntie say to you?"
"A woman’s war!" Qiu Ruoxi said seriously. "Men, stay out of it!"
Ye Xunhuan’s mouth twitched slightly. A freaking women’s war, men stay out of it. He thought, do you think I want to deal with your crap! It’s only because you’re my wife; otherwise, I wouldn’t care!
Looking at Qiu Ruoxi’s spirited demeanor, Ye Xunhuan couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for her. Although he didn’t know the specifics of the bet between Qiu Ruoxi and Qin Rumeng, winning against Qin Rumeng was not going to be an easy task.
This woman never fought battles she wasn’t sure she could win!
But this time, was Qin Rumeng really sure?
