Chapter 185 - 185: Don't Want to Talk to Idiots

When Katsuragi and Totsuka arrived outside the cave, many Class A students had already gathered after hearing the news. At the center of the group stood Mashima-sensei, the homeroom teacher of Class A, along with a boy with dead-fish eyes who left a strong impression. Behind them was Hoshinomiya-sensei from Class B.

The students of Class A instinctively made way for Katsuragi when they saw him approaching. His expression remained completely calm, in stark contrast to the panic and anxiety on the faces of the other students.

*As expected from Katsuragi!*

Many of them couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration. Katsuragi's composure and steadiness immediately helped ease the tension within the class.

Even Hikigaya was surprised by Katsuragi's calm demeanor. *No wonder he's able to compete with that little schemer Sakayanagi for power.*

Anyone else would have panicked upon hearing that their class was being accused of theft. After all, this could completely ruin Class A's efforts in the survival exam.

But Katsuragi didn't just stay calm—he used his presence to steady the entire class. *This is what a real leader should be like.*

No matter what happens, you can't lose your cool.

"Mashima-sensei, can you tell me exactly what happened?"

Katsuragi asked in a deep voice.

Mashima-sensei glanced back at Hikigaya, but Hikigaya acted like he didn't notice. Left with no choice, Mashima-sensei spoke up.

"Here's the situation. Hikigaya from Class D reported to the school that something was missing and suspects it was stolen on purpose."

"Huh? That guy lost something, and now he's coming to us in Class A?"

Before Katsuragi could say anything, Totsuka had already stepped forward, looking furious. His loud objection quickly got the attention of the other students in Katsuragi's faction, who all began chiming in. The scene turned chaotic in an instant.

Katsuragi shot an annoyed look at Totsuka, then raised a hand to quiet the students. Once things settled, he turned to Mashima-sensei.

"Mashima-sensei, could you explain in detail? What exactly was lost, and why do you suspect Class A?"

"A first-aid kit has gone missing. Based on the signal from the tracking device inside, it is currently here."

Mashima-sensei's tone remained completely neutral.

"A first-aid kit? A tracking device?"

Not just Katsuragi, but many students looked confused.

"To put it simply, I lost a first-aid kit," Hikigaya said. "And according to its built-in tracker, it's right here. In other words, Katsuragi, there's something in your camp that doesn't belong to you."

"We already have our own first-aid kit! Why would we steal yours? You're just making stuff up to frame us, you bastard!"

Totsuka yelled in anger.

"Oh? Framing you?" Hikigaya sneered. "I'm just stating the facts. Are you saying Mashima-sensei is also trying to frame you?"

His voice was calm, but his words carried weight.

"If that's the case, then all we need to do is find proof, right?"

Hikigaya turned to Mashima-sensei.

"Mashima-sensei, since the tracking signal points here, it shouldn't be too hard to find the first-aid kit, right?"

Mashima-sensei gave Hikigaya a long look, then followed the signal displayed on his phone. He walked over to Class A's supply tent and immediately spotted the first-aid kit in plain view.

"That's..."

Katsuragi's eyes widened slightly.

Mashima-sensei opened the kit and pulled out a small tracking device.

"Mashima-sensei, this is the first-aid kit I lost!"

Hikigaya thanked Mashima-sensei before turning to Katsuragi.

"Katsuragi, do you have anything to say now? Why did my missing first-aid kit end up in Class A's camp? You'd better have a good explanation—otherwise, this is theft."

Theft.

The word sent a shockwave through the Class A students. If Class A was found guilty of stealing, it wouldn't just be embarrassing—it would be a serious rule violation in the exam. Their entire score could be wiped out.

"There has to be a mistake! This is clearly our supply! How is it suddenly yours?"

"Yeah, this is obviously a setup!"

Many students shouted in frustration.

But then, a girl's voice rang out from the crowd.

"I remember... wasn't it Totsuka who brought that first-aid kit back?"

"Yeah, that's right!"

With that reminder, more students started recalling details. Unlike other supplies, a first-aid kit was expensive and rare—there was only one.

"I remember too! That came from the supply station at the small beach hut. I even helped move the supplies from there!"

More and more students in Katsuragi's faction nodded in agreement, and soon, all eyes were on Totsuka.

Totsuka's expression tensed as he quickly defended himself.

"Mashima-sensei, don't listen to Hikigaya's nonsense! That first-aid kit was part of the supplies at the small beach hut. After Class A took control of the location, the supplies inside should rightfully belong to us! We even confirmed this beforehand—you remember that, right?"

Mashima-sensei nodded. Katsuragi had indeed asked about whether they could use supplies from occupied locations on the first day. Knowing his personality, he wouldn't have taken them without permission.

In reality, some of the supply points on the island did contain essential resources, provided by the school as rewards for occupying those areas.

"See? The school acknowledged this rule. So that first-aid kit is part of Class A's supplies! There was never any theft. Hikigaya, you're just trying to drag us down!"

Totsuka glared at Hikigaya, his voice full of hostility.

"Heh."

Hikigaya looked at Totsuka like he was an idiot, then shifted his gaze to Katsuragi, who had been silent the whole time.

"Katsuragi, I don't feel like wasting another word on that fool, but you should already understand what's going on."

Katsuragi's expression darkened as he stared at Hikigaya. Then, he quickly turned to his homeroom teacher and asked urgently, "Mashima-sensei, I have a question. How can we prove this first aid kit belongs to Class D?"

"Katsuragi, this medium-sized first aid kit was only redeemed by Class D. That information is recorded and can be checked."

Hearing Mashima-sensei's words, Katsuragi clenched his fists tightly, but he still wasn't ready to give up.

"Is there any chance it got mixed up with the supplies from the base camp?"

"Katsuragi, let me tell you something—the first aid kits at the base camp are all small and portable."

Hikigaya smirked as he looked at the bald, dark-faced man.

"I think both you and Totsuka should've seen them before, right?"

Totsuka and Katsuragi: "!!!"
