There was a countless flow of people coming and going, and over the week, Raze had pretty much re-met everyone from his journey.
Giving them all words of encouragement. He had even gone through the Dark Faction students, like Rictor and Mada, and further talked to Mantis, and individually, he had talked to members of the Crimson Crane.
Well, all apart from one. He actually had a visit from Fixteen and Forma at the same time. Her eyes looked dark.
Unfortunately, they had also made a request that Raze couldn't quite complete: if he could help bear the pain she was going through.
The only thing Raze could suggest was that she never had to use the weapon again, and it was unlikely she would have to.
They had talked about how Forma might leave the Crimson Crane, at least as a fighter, and in turn, she and Fixteen could live a life together.
He hadn't realized that the two of them had gotten that close, but it all made sense. What Raze did do was make quite a large quantity of red pills for her.
It wasn't much, but each time if she had a traumatic experience recur, she could take one of them to make her feel slightly better.
It was one of the times such a bad curse he saw truly affect the person, and he wouldn't have been surprised if she had decided to never pick up a weapon again.
Truth be told, Raze thought that was it. He had seen nearly everyone individually. They would all head back to the town of Flendon soon, and that was where Raze would say his goodbyes to all of them as he helped the individuals head to the place where they needed to be.
So the one person he wasn't expecting was to see Beatrix.
"Raze, I need to speak to you about something, if it's okay," she asked.
Slowly, she went over and sat down on an earth-made chair that had been crafted with Raze's magic.
Due to how many guests he was having in his tent, it was best for him to create such a thing.
"Beatrix…I guess you were also one of the first ones that I came across in Pagna," Raze said with a smile.
She was a bit embarrassed, but it was true. She had seen him in one of the dimensions that was owned by the Light Faction.
Thinking that he was a warrior, she had attacked him on sight, and he had barely survived. Thankfully, he had run into Dame at the time as well.
"That's right, but…I actually have something more serious to talk to you about," Beatrix said, almost nervous. "You see, during your fight…something seemed to happen.
"Do you know of the Bloody Woman?"
Raze's heart sank for a moment. He remembered the Bloody Woman well, but had completely forgotten about her.
Since he had satisfied one of his goals, he was now focused on heading to Pagna, but he remembered during the fight he could no longer communicate with her.
That's when he saw Beatrix was pointing a finger towards herself.
"Well…I think something happened, and now she's a part of me." As Beatrix said those words, changes started to occur.
Her fingernails turned slightly red, and the bottom of her hair was turning red, growing up to her roots.
The power that surrounded Beatrix's body was fierce; it smelled of death, and almost was that of pure Demonic energy.
"She went inside of you?" Raze remembered what Heino said about his ring. It must have gone out of his body at the time. "So…is she now in the back of your mind? Are the two of you sharing the body now as well?"
Beatrix shook her head.
"That's not quite right. The reason I knew the Bloody Woman belonged to you is because it's as if our two bodies have become one. We're mixed.
"I no longer feel like Beatrix, but my personality and consciousness seem to have remained more on the Beatrix side, but it has mixed with the Bloody Woman.
"Beatrix no longer exists, and the Bloody Woman no longer exists, but I would prefer for you to still know me as Beatrix."
Raze thought the whole thing was quite interesting. It reminded him somewhat of the situation that had occurred with Safa.
How she had merged with a Divine being, but at the time, it was only the powers and none of the consciousness. This was almost exactly the same thing, but a part of the consciousness going into Beatrix.
"Then do you have her memories of what happened to her, and memories of the Divine realm? She seemed to tell me she was from that place," Raze recalled.
He wasn't too bothered about the Divine realm, but while he had someone there, it was a question he had to ask.
"That's a bit tricky. I can remember what I went through, what occurred, but the Divine realm itself or events that even led up to the Divine realm are a little all over the place.
"All the events that occurred while I was with you are still there, though."
What Raze was also curious about was it was clear that she had the Bloody Woman's power. If the Divine energy was mixed with someone who hadn't reached the Divine status, that also was some way to bypass the limit that was put on Pagna. Which was why Safa, the Divine warrior from before, and even now Beatrix, could surpass that limitation.
'The more and more I think about it, the more the limitations on Pagna sound like a spell, and it was as if they didn't account for these exceptions that were to occur.'
"Raze," Beatrix said. "I came here to ask you about something else as well…I wanted to ask if I could come to Alterian with you."
