Chapter 360: 360, if you don’t get angry, are you still a man?

Chapter 360: 360, if you don’t get angry, are you still a man?

Subconsciously, Song Qinghuan shook her head, wanting to tell Shi Yuhuan that it wasn’t like that.

But she couldn’t utter words of denial because she indeed never considered telling Shi Yuhuan about the matter.

She hastily moved to sit next to Shi Yuhuan, within arm’s reach, nervously saying, “I just felt that the matter was done, and I didn’t want to upset you, so I didn’t tell you.”

Shi Yuhuan’s indifferent gaze fell on the hand Song Qinghuan used to hold him. He slowly brushed her hand off.

His grip was strong, causing Song Qinghuan great pain.

Yet Song Qinghuan didn’t let go, she held tightly, pleading pitifully, “Shi Yuhuan, don’t be angry!”

Shi Yuhuan’s lips curled in a cold smile, his tone icy as frost, “My wife is entangled with another man, and I learned about it from a third party. Shouldn’t I be angry? Do you think I am not a man?”

His words made Song Qinghuan feel a bone-chilling cold.

Using all her strength, she shook her head: “No, I am not entangled with him, the message is a lie.”

Shi Yuhuan narrowed his eyes and looked at her, coldly saying, “What I meant by not untangling is not about how it was found out, but that he is still entangled with you. You didn’t tell me. Also, the text message is real. Zhan Jie didn’t lie to you, I should not have smashed Zhan Cheng’s phone, but instead let you see it.”

Surprise and disbelief filled her eyes as Song Qinghuan stammered, “No, no way. How could this be true? It’s impossible. It’s fake, it must be fake!”

She muttered to herself, her heart pounding uncontrollably.

Shi Yuhuan would not lie to her. That means the message was truly real. Zhan Jie wouldn’t be able to deceive Shi Yuhuan, unless the message did exist.

Why? It couldn’t possibly be. She hadn’t sent Zhan Cheng any messages!

What happened?

She doesn’t carry her mobile with her at work, often leaving it on her desk. Could have someone used her phone to send it?

Who could it have been?

Was it Wu Ruijuan? Zhu Xiao? Su Yongxin? Or Mi Xue, Zhang Miaolong…

All the names of her colleagues passed through Song Qinghuan’s mind, and the last to appear were Bai Rubing and Yu Yang.

The more she thought about it, the less likely it seemed. It didn’t seem likely for anyone, yet everyone seemed possible.

The office was quiet, and the wall clock ticked slowly and steadily.

With a distressed face, Song Qinghuan looked up at Shi Yuhuan, as if wanting to say something.

But Shi Yuhuan spoke first, “You should leave for now. We can discuss this later when you get home.”

Song Qinghuan felt as if a thunderbolt had struck her heart, pains shooting and spreading to every nerve ending in her body.

What did he mean by that? Was he implying that he didn’t trust her?

Her hand, which had been holding Shi Yuhuan’s arm, unbeknownst to her, had let go.

Song Qinghuan’s lips parted weakly, but she found herself unable to speak. Overwhelming pain washed over her, leaving her motionless and head bowed low.

Shi Yuhuan watched her, his voice rich and deep, “You need to work until midnight. If you don’t go to the cafeteria now, you won’t have anything to eat.”

Song Qinghuan slowly stood up, devoid of any strength to explain further.

If the messages were indeed real, no amount of explaining would change anything. If Shi Yuhuan chose to believe, he would, and if he didn’t, he wouldn’t.

She left Shi Yuhuan’s office but didn’t go down to the cafeteria. Instead, she headed up to the rooftop.
