Chapter 514: 514, I don’t remember the things I’ve done.

The room’s door was slightly ajar. Song Qinghuan gently pushed it open to reveal a slim gap. Inside, all was silent. She peeked through the narrow gap and caught a glimpse of Shi Yuhuan’s silhouette.

Standing across from him was Shi Annuo, with a head lowered, leaning weakly against the wall as if he might collapse at any moment.

Just as she was about to get a closer look, the door was suddenly pulled open from the inside.

Startled, Song Qinghuan subconsciously took a step back. As she looked up, she met a pair of icy eyes that exuded an evil charm.

It was Li Qianze’s older brother, Li Chengyun.

Upon seeing Song Qinghuan at the door, his eyes slightly narrowed. He then examined her with probing gaze, his lips curling into an inscrutable smile. He said nothing, leaving the room and taking his icy aura with him.

As she watched his retreating figure, Song Qinghuan swallowed subconsciously.

During their brief exchange of glances, she recalled something Li Qianze had once said. If Shi Yuhuan’s indifference was developed later in life, making him aloof and seldom laughing…

Then Li Chengyun’s coldness was born with him. He was somewhat different from Shi Yuhuan, he laughed sometimes, and his smile was captivating, but it was a frozen smile, and it never reached his eyes.

Just now, she thought she saw him smile slightly. His smile was alluring and gorgeous like a poppy blooming in the dark night. It was a beautiful yet deadly bloom, quickly fading, like it was taking away one’s breath in an instant.

“Regret over today’s wedding serves no purpose. You two won’t be able to get married again in the short term.” Shi Yuhuan’s cold, guttural voice resounded within the room.

Lightly pushing the door open again, Song Qinghuan peeked inside to find Shi Yuhuan looking at Shi Annuo, his eyes sharp as knife blades.

Shi Annuo looked back at Shi Yuhuan, his face full of innocence. “Why can’t we, brother? You have to believe me. I was wronged.”

“Wronged? You’re still claiming to be wronged in front of me?!” Shi Yuhuan’s tone remained composed. He casually picked up a stack of investigation files from the table and forcefully threw it at Shi Annuo. “Take a good look at these. Reflect on all the absurd things you’ve done and see if you’re truly wronged.”

Papers and photographs flew everywhere. Shi Annuo randomly grabbed one and immediately his eyes widened in horror. His face drained of color. “This…this is impossible. That day…I was alone. How could this happen…No, no, this is impossible…”

He could feel his temples throbbing rhythmically. A dreadful conspiracy was unfolding around him, and he had a strong premonition about it.

“The woman in the picture is Xu Meili, the same woman who created a scene at your wedding today. The man lying in the hotel with her, don’t tell me it isn’t you. Unless you have a twin brother that I don’t know about.” Shi Yuhuan’s voice dripped with icy detachment.

“Who provided you these materials? Could they have been doctored?” Shi Annuo had no memory of any of this.

He did not believe it, nor could he.

Because he had never done the things depicted in the photographs, yet the person in the photographs was undeniably him.

Shi Yuhuan coldly replied, “These photographs show no signs of being doctored, and all of them were found by investigators I hired.”

Shi Annuo was in shock, completely dumbstruck.

After a while, he finally regained his composure and found his voice. As if something had just dawned on him, he said, “That night, I confessed my feelings to Qianqian, but she rejected me. She didn’t agree to be with me, and I was upset. I went to a bar, got drunk, and then I don’t remember anything. The next day, I woke up in a hotel. But I felt that I was alone there all night.”
