Chapter 740: 740, When the younger daughter meets the older daughter

Shi Yuhuan gently lay down next to Song Qinghuan.

On one side was the woman he loved, on the other side was their newborn child.

Shi Yuhuan, laying in the middle, deeply felt the long-lost sense of happiness.

All of a sudden, he felt that all the previous torments and suffering, are something he should bear, so he won’t fear this fleeting moment of happiness.

Isn’t it said that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger?

Thus, he wished to bear all the hardships, to ensure a worry-free life for them.

Five days had passed, Song Qinghuan’s wound had healed quite well, she could be discharged and sent home to recuperate.

But she couldn’t sit in the car for too long, nor get too tired. So naturally, Song Qinghuan had to stay in Q City to recover after childbirth.

Shi Yuhuan was busy, really busy. Song Qinghuan could feel it. Many times, she would wake up in the middle of the night to feed the baby and still see the study room light on.

Nevertheless, no matter how busy he was, he always took great care of them, mother and daughter.

Their daughter was quite easy to manage. She could eat, sleep, and didn’t cry a lot. But seemingly, she favored her dad more.

For this, Song Qinghuan was slightly upset. After enduring pregnancy for ten months, all the benefits ended up going to Shi Yuhuan.

She sighed: It’s unfair. So unfair!

Actually, it wasn’t that the daughter didn’t like her; it seemed Song Qinghuan was having some postpartum restlessness.

The doctor said, it was because Song Qinghuan’s mood was fluctuating too quickly between excitement and depression, causing “manic” symptoms.

But these symptoms usually disappear after about a week.

In the middle of the night, the baby got hungry again. Song Qinghuan had just finished feeding her when she felt a wet warmth on her thigh.

Her eyes widened in disbelief. Looking at the baby, she couldn’t help but clench her teeth and say, “Yi, Mo! Why are you always like this, do you think you don’t have to hold it in just because you have just been fed?”

The little one squinted her eyes and immediately started to cry out loud as if she understood what her mom was saying.

“Oh my God, why are you crying again? Can you stop crying?” Whenever the baby cried, Song Qinghuan felt quite flustered.

She had been getting better the past two days; perhaps her symptoms were slowly disappearing.

A few days ago, upon hearing their daughter’s cry, she almost wished to put the baby back into her womb.

“Lele, why are you crying?” Shi Yuhuan in his study heard the baby cry and ran in haste.

Although Song Qinghuan didn’t approve of the name Shi Le, Shi Yuhuan decided to nickname their daughter Lele.

His happy Lele!

Seeing her husband, Song Qinghuan instantly acted spoilt and said in frustration, “Shi Yuhuan, look at your little daughter, she wet your big daughter again!”

The housemaid at the door couldn’t help but chuckle. She had run over on hearing the noise and overheard the conversation. She found it funny.

But she silently praised the couple for their strong relationship.

She thought about telling her husband to treat her like his daughter, to dote on her, and listen to her.

But after deciding to speak up, she shivered all over. Better forget it, if she really voiced this out, her husband would probably think she had taken the wrong meds, and rush her to the hospital.
