The little boy, Ben Lucas, led by the woman, showed none of his usual indifference. He tilted his head to look at the woman, as if he was saying something.

There were two rows of burly men in black following them.

Emma walked over, first expressing her concern for Ben, then pretended as if she had just noticed, standing up to look towards Aidan Lucas and Lily.
“Ethan… who is this…?” she said with a look of surprise, as if she had never seen Lily in the banquet hall before.
“This is my fiancée, Lily Redington. Lily, this is my aunt.”
The man gave a perfunctory nod toward Emma Shaw, who naturally didn’t dare to show any seniority in front of him, and immediately said with a smile, “So it’s Lily, what a lovely name. Ethan has great taste; this child is truly beautiful. The more you look at her, the more endearing she becomes!”
Lily was about to pretend she didn’t know Emma Shaw and greet her.
