"Forgive my brashness...isn’t he your teacher?"
Lanci observed Abigail’s emotions and whispered.
If he dared to speak to Talia like that, he guessed...
He didn’t dare to think.
"You’re in a pretty good mood, daring to chat with me at a time like this."
Abigail put away the Communication Magic, flicked her hair, and said to Lanci.
It seemed that talking to that man on the communication had angered her.
After the communication ended, her temper looked even worse than before.
"You know, I’m just a comedian. What harm could I possibly do?"
Lanci raised his hands, replying while still fixed on the pink card in her hand.
"Just now you asked me which number I was, hmm, you’ve used the one from Landry before, haven’t you? So, we’ve spoken before."
Abigail noticed Lanci’s gaze and carelessly lifted the Sacred Communication Card in her hand.
[Super Long Range Communication Program-2]

[Attribute: Link]
[Class: 6]
[Effect: Compared to common Super Long-Distance Communication Magic, it has a greater communication distance and stronger anti-interference capabilities.]
[Note: Truth of the Empire, the revealer of the Empire’s secrets.]
"I’m the one who initially spoke with you, number 2, nicknamed ’Truth, from the Silvermoon Reform Association administrators," Abigail revealed.
The very night Landry arrived at Brilda, she had privately spoken with Landry.
At this point, she didn’t mind letting the other party know these things.
"Silvermoon Reform Association? You are all from the Silvermoon Reform Association?"
Lanci looked at her, baffled.
He caught the real point.
After coming to Brilda, he’d faintly heard the name of this secret society a few times but had never detected a trace of them; they were like ghosts, just like the Blood Clan, even the Red Falcon Nicola couldn’t track down any information about the Venerable Ones.
"..."
Abigail found it hard to believe that someone plotting to kill and steal Landry’s identity would be unaware that they were both Venerable Ones from the Silvermoon Reform Association.
This guy really didn’t seem to be acting.
His previous excellent performance on the stage didn’t seem like acting either.
Yet he had indeed performed the script perfectly, making it difficult to tell if he was acting or not, making it hard to believe any of his words.
"Can we have a proper talk first?"
Lanci spoke again to Abigail.
From his arrival in the Cerryti Empire, the passage of events had been quite complicated, and he needed her to start from the beginning calmly.
He was also puzzled about how Landry turned out to be Abigail’s junior, let alone understanding why they were both members of the Silvermoon Reform Association, an anti-empire organization.
Now, Abigail was like Unity on the train then, having completely lost trust in him.
But Lanci couldn’t sell out Unity of the Allied Forces; he had to use the art of speech to change the angle of the conversation.
Otherwise, if the Silvermoon Reform Association wiped out the Allied Forces’ spies, he would end up a sinner for all time!
"It’s okay. You don’t have to hope for time to drag on, as he’s arriving soon, and don’t expect that grey-haired miss to save you."
Abigail glanced at the clock.
Perhaps in a little while, the other party would break out of the trap since even the Spatial Trap she and a Bishop had set up had an upper load limit on her own turf.
Abigail was certain that, though the grey-haired woman was very strong, she was far from being a match for a Cardinal Bishop, not even on the same level.
At least two, no, probably three grey-haired women were needed to beat a Cardinal Bishop.
"...The ’he’ you’re talking about, could it be the Cardinal Bishop?"
Lanci speculated.
He sensed that more important than the negotiation were the words spoken by Abigail.
Only a Bishop Level powerful one could easily defeat Talia.
If Abigail was from Silvermoon Reform Association, then her teacher was unlikely to be the Imperial Army God.
Furthermore, his prior private chat with the number 1 of Sacred Communication Magic also seemed to hint at an association with the Rebirth Church.
Lanci could only think of the Rebirth Church’s Cardinal Bishops as the powerful ones above level 87 who had appeared in the Cerryti Empire.
Talia was isolated in this space.
This trap could forcibly separate him and Talia for a short while; Space Magic was so unreasonable, like Divination Magic, only a few Special Magics could counter it. 𝘯𝘰𝑣𝘱𝑢𝘣.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Combining the communication from Abigail a moment ago, the only Bishop capable of teaching Abigail Space Magic and perform such Space Series Teleportation Magic was one person.
Dimension Bishop Toriyado.
"And you are the Dimensional Saintess?"
Lanci added.
He was less certain of this guess.
Lanci could previously somehow sense members below Bishop Level from the Destruction and Hegemony Branches but didn’t have such perception towards Abigail.
"I suppose so, but we from the Dimensional Branch don’t need troublesome things like the Resurrection Token."
Abigail did not deny it; after all, she referred to the Dimension Bishop as her teacher.
She could create more advanced tokens, making the Dimensional Branch independent of the others and forming more efficient coordination.
And its senior and allied members could even use the encrypted version of Sacred Communication Magic.
Anyway, now she and Landry were unlikely to kill a Cardinal Bishop, so for her and Landry, the Saint’s Credential-Dimension was just a useless piece with negative effects.
A moment after her words ended,
Lanci had not had time to speak another word.
Magic Equipment in front began to distort gradually, the color turning deeper and darker until the vortex gradually became visible, forming what looked like an illusory gate, with countless twisted souls whirling within the mirror surface.
