As soon as Monasite entered, his gaze first fell upon the sofa in the rest area.

"Excellent, both of you are in the Student Council room."

Seeing Lanci and Hyperion, Monasite gave a composed smile.

"Do you need our assistance with something?"

Lanci closed the book in his hands, placing it on the table, and seriously returned Monasite’s gaze with a question.

With only a month left in this term, despite the majority of Lanci’s time being spent on planning for their winter vacation to the Northern Continent, he was still fully invested in the school’s affairs.

"I just finished coordinating some business at the Knight College."

Monasite elegantly took a seat across Lanci and Hyperion as was his usual demeanor, while Frey sat down next to him following his lead.

A dark wooden tea table quietly rested on the carpet, its edges distinctly soft.

Quickly, Asina served them two cups of coffee. The steaming hot coffee in the cup wafted a rich aroma, filling the warm room, chasing away the chill that had followed them in.

"Do you remember the ’Soul of Fighters’ Club’ team from the Knight College?"

After thanking Asina, Monasite, looking slightly worn, took a gentle sip of his coffee, placed his porcelain cup down, and asked Lanci and Hyperion.

"Well, of course."

Both nodded simultaneously.

When they first joined the Student Council, their initial task was to cooperate with the Soul of Fighters’ Club team in negotiating the demolition of a hazardous building that posed a safety risk to the school.

From that experience, where they were chased down several streets by enraged fighters, they developed a camaraderie that stuck.

"Here’s the thing..."

Monasite sighed and began to share the full details with them.

"Firstly, ever since the demolition incident, Cervini, the leader of the Soul of Fighters’ Club Team, has had a change of heart. She transferred to the Alchemy College to study law earnestly, fully abandoning the Spirit of Martial Combat. She has not been to the Shadow World or the Arena since."

"..."

Upon hearing this, Hyperion couldn’t help but glance at Lanci.

The culprit, right beside her.

"Sounds reasonable, doesn’t it? I believe it does. However, the fighters at Royal Arolan Academy don’t think so. They find it utterly ridiculous. They believe our school’s fighters are chickening out and making up a story that insults their intelligence."

Monasite continued to recount.

The fighters from the Royal Arolan Academy intend to resolve their differences through fists in a spirited battle against the fighters of Ichrite Academy, betting on their Spirit of Martial Combat. But their strongest adversary, Cervini, is nowhere to be found, and their mission seems pointless.

The fighters from Arolan, decided to beat up the few remaining members of the ’Soul of Fighters’ Club’ Team with relish at their next agreed match.

If their comrades get beaten up, Cervini probably won’t be able to control her rage and will step in to retaliate.

But her teammates know, currently, their senior sister is studying day and night for the judicial exams, and they can’t afford to distract her.

These loyal disciples fought back fiercely to end this match using their own strength, not wanting their sister to be bothered, and thus not affect her examinations.

Eventually, the fight took the horrendous turn that Hyperion saw on the Magic Fluorescent Screen and was halted midway.

"Dean Sphintos of the Knight College directly declared the fighters from Royal Arolan Academy the winners. However, the fighters from Royal Arolan Academy did not agree. They insisted this match be fought to the end. To stop midway due to external interference is indeed against the spirit of a duel."

"Personally, I find Dean Sphintos’ decision quite appropriate. However, considering that my job is to be a good host to the academic visiting team from Royal Arolan Academy, I still hope to take into account the feelings of the students from Arolan Kingdom. Hence, I approached the fighters from Royal Arolan Academy to negotiate and agreed to a condition."

With this, Monasite finally breathed a sigh of relief having relayed how he and Frey handled the situation in the Knight College.

"What is the specific condition?"

Hyperion asked curiously.

She firmly believed in President Monasite’s excellent communication and negotiation skills. He should be able to negotiate a convincing agreement even with irrational fighters.

"The match will continue the day after tomorrow. If they win, I will mediate with the Alchemy College and ask Cervini to accept their fight. However, if we win, they must stop bothering Cervini during her judicial examination."

Monasite responded.

"So how big is the chance of winning?"

Lanci articulated his concern.

After listening to what Hyperion had told him, he seemed to start caring about the concept of victory or defeat.

"None."

Monasite’s response was swift and decisive.

The difference in strength between the two sides was clearly exposed in today’s competition, and the match was suspended to prevent it from turning into an abusive spectacle.

With their spirit already crushed by fear and failure, these fighters had no chance of pulling off a victory.

"However, what I did not expect was... the academic visit team from the Royal Arolan Academy turned out to be quite successful in a way. At least in terms of outcomes, they’ve already beaten us three consecutive times. Hence, the professor leading the Royal Arolan Academy decided to propose making the team duel the final event of the academic exchange between the two academies."

As Monaiste spoke, he furrowed his brows, indicating more troublesome developments.

Adams beat Lanci, Carlen also overcame Lanci, and now the Fighters’ Club achieved a complete victory in the team battle.

"Dean Sphintos of Knight College is not like Dean Loren. He can sometimes tolerate, but if the other party wants to over-step the boundaries, he will surely pay them back in kind. He readily agreed to this formal duel, and there will be a significant preparatory event, which the whole Ichrite City is expected to pay attention to. On the way here, I even ran into your father, Lanci. He, too, is highly interested in this competition and wants to watch it in person."

Monasite seemed to be rather concerned about the series of aftermath events too.

"Are you going to draft Cervini directly?"

Hyperion pondered for a bit, thinking it might be easier to just give in to avoid escalating the situation.

If it devolves into a gruesomely merciless battle, it would spell a bad image for both the Royal Arolan Academy and Ichrite Academy, potentially turning into a serious live broadcast catastrophe.

She unexpectedly discovered that Lanci’s capitulating approach wasn’t that bad.

Harmony above all else.

Monasite is currently a third-year student at Alchemy College with Cervini, so persuading her should be pretty easy for him.

"But if we do that, all the effort of the Soul of Fighters’ Club Team will be in vain. Though I should consider the feelings of visiting scholars as much as possible, my primary job is to help the students at our school. I believe we should support them in principle. After all, the disruption of previous club activities is the root cause of the current situation."

Monasite sighed.

From a causal point of view, their Student Union is the real culprit.

"..."

Hyperion was left speechless.

She was fully aware that the instigators were actually the two people beside her.

"Of course, the other side also set some conditions, such as not allowing powerful substitutes from the school to participate. The original members of the Fighters’ Club Team must play, so Frey cannot play either."

Monasite settled back with another sips of coffee, looking at Lanci and Hyperion.

"However, every time I see their efforts for Cervini, I can’t bear to let them down. If possible, I hope you can assist them in realizing their wonderful dream and bringing a perfect end to the academic visit of the Royal Arolan Academy."

Monasite knew that Lanci had certain experiences in the education sector, and perhaps he was adept at short-term intensive training. This was the time to throw a Hail Mary.

Upon hearing Monasite’s request, Hyperion was shocked, and she urged him:

"President, please reconsider..."

Before Hyperion could finish, Lanci stood up abruptly, straightening his tie.

"This is a responsibility I cannot ignore. I will make sure my father gets a good look at our school’s prowess!"

"Secretary Hyperion, Director Frey, let’s go!"

Lanci looked back at the two sitting on the couch and said.

His zeal was frightening, and he even used their titles in Shadow World.
