Underneath the high-ceiling, which was several tens of meters above, Lanci and Zestira found that the lights around them would illuminate step by step as they walked further in, much like the opening sequence of a play.
The library, with its classical theater design, hosted numerous magic books on its large bookshelves. In the dim light, the occasional ghostlike page could be seen floating through the air.

The first unambiguous area was an open reading area leading to a hallway. Beyond this the red carpet from the end of the hall extended all the way to the reception desk of a conference room.

Above the reception desk, a large chandelier emitted a soft yellow light, illuminating its smooth surface.
"Do you need assistance?" asked a porcelain doll-like artificial beauty from behind the desk.
Zestira was slightly taken aback, as she hadn’t expected the magic doll to speak.
"We’re here to exchange for a collection item."
Lanci glanced at Zestira with a reassuring smile hinting that there was nothing to fear, and then addressed the magic doll.
"Very well, please browse."
As the conference room door closed, the doll slowly activated the magic spell on the reception desk, and soon dark text emerged on the table’s surface.
Zestira followed the instructions, took off her bracelet, and placed it on the induction area.

Pink Holy Level magic cards, magic devices, scrolls and materials were all available for selection.
The downside of magic devices was that they couldn’t be soul-binded and brought into the Shadow World. Their portability was also slightly lacking, and the risk of loss was higher. However, they were far more versatile than magic cards as they didn’t require any card slots.
In the Northern Continent, where there was a greater emphasis on worldly battles and resource acquisition, magic devices and magic cards were equally popular.
Only in the South Continent, where peace reigned and the focus was on exploring the Shadow World, did magic cards overwhelmingly outshine magic devices in terms of popularity.
Scrolls could either be used once or as materials for crafting magic cards.
Other materials were dependent on the skill level of the Magic Artisan using them. If choosing solely based on quality, materials would only be selected if there were no decent magic cards or magic devices available.
"If I have to choose within the Pink Holy Level, I’d lean towards the magic cards," Lanci responded.
After all, he was from the South Continent.
In addition, if there were no restrictions on the type of card, he would be inclined to choose spell cards.
While there was no absolute hierarchy among call cards, equipment cards, and spell cards, according to Lanci’s personal ideas, spell cards were the most honorable.
That’s because creating high-graded spell cards was relatively difficult. Only specific individuals who knew the spell itself or could learn it could create these cards. It was nearly impossible to create an Epic-level spell card, only the Shadow World could produce them.

However, sealing skills are a rather rare category of magic. Among the treasures stored in the library, the highest-grade is a Pink Holy Level sealing-type magic card that is only Fifth-order.
