The vehicle should be nearing Rock Intersection Station soon. Sitting in their seats, they could feel the noticeable deceleration, but it would still be a while before the train pulled into the station and stopped.
A delicate tablecloth was spread across the small table between them, adorned with gold-rimmed porcelain and shiny cutlery, along with several bottles of fruit wine from Milford Province. Below the table, there was a small ice magic wine cabinet, housing a variety of beverages and pastries.
Their luggage had already been checked in and would be directly transferred to the next train, and finally delivered to Protoss Royal Academy by the special delivery service at Herram Central Station. When they disembark later, they only need to carry their small personal items like documents with them.
"The Imperial Capital Herram is indeed a good city for tourism. After all, there are quite a few attractions around the school in Herram; like Herram Zoo, Endless Library, Starry Sky Theatre, and the enchanting Natural Magic River Moat. It would be just perfect if only we weren’t burdened by the oppressive coursework at Protoss Royal Magic Academy."
Gazing out the glass window at the scenery and the gradually slowing scenery, Michela sighed.
Hyperion nodded.
Although Lanci had told her at the beginning that after completing the task in the Northern Continent, they should enjoy a carefree tour, she was now burdened with a significant mission and could no longer accompany Lanci in realizing this plan. Or rather, their circumstances simply didn’t allow them to relax and treat the Protoss Empire as a travel destination anymore.
As for the initial plan to observe the [Original Slabstone-Sealing], the current situation in the empire is too dangerous, and there is no longer any possibility to realize it.
However, in this Northern Continent tour which has been approved by Loren for an extra two-month vacation, regardless of the deviation between the subject and the plan, if all goes well, Lanci will at least be able to accompany her back to Aestheland Kingdom to observe her teacher’s [Original Slabstone-Healing]. No matter what, once they return to Ichrite Academy, they should be able to turn in their work.
She rested her cheek thoughtfully on her hand, quietly gazing out of the window, her soft locks falling gently onto her shoulders.
"Sister, are you thinking about that guy named Rocky again?"
Until Michela’s abrupt voice interrupted Hyperion’s thoughts.
"Is it that obvious?"
Hyperion first paused, then put down her supporting hand and looked at Michela.
In the temple in Aestheland Kingdom, every time she was seen by the Bingxue Witch. Now, even in the Protoss Empire, Michela said the same thing whenever she noticed her spacing out.
"It’s not very obvious, but it’s very easy to guess."
Michela replied.
She was increasingly curious about what type of man could occupy her excellent sister’s thoughts so often.
"I hope he’s doing fine."
Hyperion let out a sigh, saying so.
"What kind of person is he exactly?"
Michela asked curiously.
"I just hope he can live a peaceful life."
Hyperion contemplated for a moment, really didn’t know how to evaluate Lanci, could only sigh in such a manner.
"..."
Michela wondered. Did her sister have such low expectations?
This guy named Rocky, he’s not the type of man who lazes around all day outside and wants to live off her sister, is he?
Seeing her sister’s expression, she must want to keep him, without letting him work.
That can’t be. This kind of guy must have some issues, maybe he has already fooled her sister.
"When we find him, I’m going to check this guy out for you."
Michela clenched her fist, her eyes serious.
"Michela, have you misunderstood something? He’s actually a wonderful person who always looks after me. But sometimes his actions can be too unconventional, and it’s hard on the heart and brain if you’re not expecting it. And once he gets serious about something...he has the kind of talent that can be really scary."
Hyperion looked into Michela’s eyes, trying to explain what kind of person Lanci truly was. As she spoke, she couldn’t help shaking her head with a bitter smile. No matter how much karma she earned, it was not as much as Lanci spent.
Michela frowned in confusion.
She didn’t know whether her sister was being truthful or if she couldn’t see the situation being the person involved.
"Then, I really want to see what this guy is capable of in your eyes."
Michela felt that her sister’s love filter was really strong.
When the train steadily crossed the last speed-reducing strip, Michela and Hyperion in the carriage sensed that they had arrived at Rock Intersection Station. The sound of the magic power operation weakened as the train slowly came to a halt.
The magnificent appearance of Rock Intersection Station slowly came into their view. What reflected in the window was a grand structure where history and the future intertwined, the platform was wide and bright. Its dome made of crystal-like transparent glass, the weak light filtered through, sprinkling like stardust across the hall.
The closer they were to the Imperial Capital Herram, the more Hyperion felt she was close to Lanci.
Because back in Aestheland Kingdom, she always imagined Lanci would be on the southern coast of the empire or had made it to the imperial capital, Herram.
With the train coming to a halt, Hyperion understood that to go to Herram, they first needed to cross the heavily guarded Hezishan Province. And here, away from Aestheland Kingdom and Milford Province, everything had to rely on herself; no one was going to help her anymore.
Hyperion and Michela rose from their seats, picked up their bags, walked out of the carriage corridor, and slowly stepped into the vast area of the station.
