After a brief silence of heaviness, Warden Corentin has entirely adjusted his attitude and emotion.

He set aside his anxiety and panic, starting to handle the affairs in front of him. His actions might still be slightly rigid, but gradually they become orderly. The atmosphere in the office began to change to be harmonious and organized.

The three Rebirth Priests still didn’t leave Warden Corentin’s side, like three professional collectors, they only moved their sight when Warden Corentin efficiently handled the affairs.

"I am putting in full speed to handle everything for you, rest assured."

Warden Corentin buried himself in various documents, signing and stamping them meticulously to ensure every detail complied with the regulations. His speech rate had increased a lot, imbued with the meaning of pleading for waiting.

After giving high evaluations to those trainee prison guards, he added a note: the interns performed outstandingly. With their consent, he would make an exception to send the intern guards into the inner layers of the prison.

Immediately, Corentin handed these documents to the three Rebirth Priests.

The priest took them and quickly came in front of Hyperion, presenting them with both hands.

"Please review these, Lord Milian."

The priest of Hegemony asked in a deep voice.

"No problem."

Hyperion tearfully took them over, examining and confirming.

The Priest respectfully took back the documents and handed them back to Warden Corentin, ordering him to input these documents into the magic instrument which connected Herram Prison with the barrier.

Hyperion witnessed all these events.

It is surely easy.

She has even understood how easy and enjoyable it would be to be a high-status lord in the Rebirth Church version of the Protoss Empire.

But she felt that apart from her being a priest of the Church of the Goddess of Destiny, the graduation internship subject of the school shouldn’t be like this, thrusting the department manager, ordering him around.

She hoped that the Bingxue Witch would still want to hear her explanation at that time.

Two minutes later.

"Everyone, everything is sorted out, we can move now."

After finishing the paperwork, Warden Corentin stood up, looking a bit restrained, personally inviting these trainee prison guards to leave.

When he spoke to Hyperion, it was almost an attitude of requesting instructions from the leader.

Because these three bad guys all complied with her orders, and that extremely unpleasant girl with black hair and green eyes was also being led by her.

Obviously, Miss Milian Milford is the ring leader of these villains.

"Take us to the teleportation hall."

Hyperion didn’t want to speak now.

"Everyone, please follow me."

Warden Corentin raised his hand to signal the trainees to follow him, then led them through the long corridors inside the prison.

The corridors were deep and quiet, with some paintings and lights hanging on both sides of the walls, emitting a soft glow, illuminating their path.

Warden Corentin walked in the front, occasionally looking back to make sure the trainees were following. Unintentionally, he also revealed a friendly attitude hoping to amend the previous misunderstanding, giving out small hints about Herram Prison and simple greetings.

Even though his efforts might not completely erase the earlier awkwardness and discomfort, this change in attitude at least showed his efforts to some degree.

"..."

This made Hyperion feel even more tormented.

She believed the Bingxue Witch, who was currently watching her from the higher-dimensional space, was equally tortured, even doubting her life, thinking that the disciple she had personally cultivated shouldn’t have turned out this way.

Before long, the group arrived at the teleportation hall of the prison.

In the center of the hall on the minus-one floor was the massive Void Teleport Gate, with ancient, mysterious runes engraved on the mineral-like, dark grey frame. The deep purple mirror in the center shimmered with a mystifying, entrancing glow.

Warden Corentin approached the steps in front of the teleportation gate, pulling out his key crystal from the inner pocket of his coat.

He gently placed it into the control panel next to the gate. As the crystal key came in contact with the panel, the light on the teleportation gate started to flicker, illuminating the surroundings instantly.

"If you proceed normally downwards, you can choose to leave once you reach the third floor below. If you decide to leave the outer layer and reach the minus-fourth floor directly, you’ll have to go all the way down to the minus-sixth floor to leave the prison successfully. Whatever is imprisoned in the bottom three layers, be it a prisoner or a jailer, they are not normal. Even Warden Bacas does not wish to set foot there lightly. I have made you aware of the risks. If anything happens to you, I am not to blame."

Warden Corentin emphasized very carefully and recorded the conversation using a recording crystal stone after observing their expressions.

The outer layer of Herram Prison – from the minus-first to the minus-third floor – and the inner layer – from the minus-fourth to the minus-sixth floor – were essentially two separate prisons.

Starting from the four levels below, even without interacting with the prisoners, simply staying at that level poses a significant threat to life.

"Understood."

Hyperion nodded in reply.

Even before coming to the Protoss Empire, she had heard from the Bingxue Witch that why the levels holding the three Great Demon Clans were extremely dangerous.

The bottom three layers of Herram Prison, if placed in the old Demon World, were all once forbidden zones used for the important ceremony of "Great Demon Clan Trials". Every once in a while, the rituals and prisoners of the three layers would alternate and transport. Therefore, one would not know what one would encounter in the layers from minus-four to minus-six.

The only certainty was that they would all be miracles constructed by magical spells of the ancient Demon World.

The Bingxue Witch believed that as the daughter of Isatia, belonging to the Demon Royal Family, Hyperion should be competent.

Although today’s Herram has been modified, reducing its danger by more than ninety percent and jailers can step in without facing hazards equivalent to ancient Demon World ceremonies, if one is determined to court death, the Great Demon Clan Trials can still be triggered.

As long as a member of the Demon Race could achieve the extremely stringent conditions independently and pass a Great Demon Clan Trial or earn the loyalty of a Great Demon Clan, they would earn a Soul Mark of rank.

Nine fixed marks belonged to nine different Great Demon Clan Trials.

Upon receiving a rank that is unique to them, each Great Demon Clan would have one opportunity to award other demons a rank mark.

Nine different Great Demon Clan trials existed in the Demon World a hundred years ago. Now, after the defeat, they have been scattered to several places. Three of them were transformed into the fourth to the sixth layers of the Herram Prison.

The rest were either destroyed or lost.

Of the nine total trials, four tested the temperament, four relied on martial force, and one involved the Ancestor’s Soul approval.

If one possessed three marks, at least one temper and at least one martial mark, one could become a member of the Great Demon Clan, leading to a sense of submission from normal demons, and one’s innate magic would unlock the path to ultimate power.

If the three marks included the Ancestor’s Soul trial, or if the contemporary Demon King recognized them, they would even get titles.

Otherwise, even if they become a member of the Great Demon Clan, they are not recognized by the Demon Race and are known as the "Nameless Great Demon Tribe".

Once they possessed six marks, their demon characteristics would transform—those are qualifications nearing the Demon King.

Any demon who achieved nine marks, also known as the Quasi-Demon King, was the Demon King if no other competitors existed in the same era.

Only the Demon King had special attack buffs and command blessings on other demons.
