At one end of the stone bridge in front of Purgatory Academy.

Baron Sanchez remembered, according to the Inspectorate, the original principal should have already been transferred away.

The demon who could now command the vice principal and numerous senior professors must be the temporary new principal.

He didn’t know how she’d managed to earn the respect of so many high-ranking members of the Demon Academy.

"How should I address you, Miss Principal?"

Baron Sanchez asked.

"You can call me Lan Fu."

The Great Love Poet responded with a radiant smile.

That was alias Lanci had given her on the spur of the moment.

But she didn’t dislike it.

The voice of the Great Love Poet was like sweet red wine, filled with an unclear sense of provocation but also irresistible temptation. It seemed to melt the mental faculties of everyone present. Even the demon race members of the Guard Squad were gradually losing focus, unconsciously casting their gaze on her.

"Miss Lan Fu, could you please tone down your voice? It’s too dangerous."

Blood Clan Messenger Sanchez shook his head and said.

Although he could sense that this acting principal ranked quite low.

But Sanchez didn’t dare underestimate her.

This female demon possessed a frightening talent for Music Rhythm Magic. Just the seductive sound alone that could effortlessly pull at one’s heartstrings couldn’t be judged by a first-order rank.

The Great Love Poet chuckled and covered her mouth with a fingertip, then looked back at the vice principal.

The vice-principal nodded his head. He naturally understood her meaning.

"Baron Sanchez, to accommodate your inspection, we have asked all students to gather in the teaching area. They mustn’t leave the classrooms until the end of your inspection. Also, a large number of teachers will patrol the corridors. Any student who leaves without permission will be executed on the spot."

The vice principal behind the Great Love Poet stepped forward one step and solemnly spoke to Blood Clan Special Envoy Baron Sanchez.

"Very well."

Baron Sanchez’s expression remained unchanged, but he didn’t expect the school would cooperate so thoroughly with his work.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Principal. Next, I’ll have the Inspectorate’s personnel take over the patrolling duties from your teachers. Do you have any objections?"

Baron Sanchez asked.

Preventing students from sneaking out of the classrooms was naturally the Inspectorate’s job. There’s no way they would allow the school to create a switcharoo just because they show some sincerity.

"Of course," said the Great Love Poet, nodding elegantly.

...

On the other side…

In a spacious office at the top of the school, with a uniquely high ceiling full of historical sense. The chandelier was casting a soft light, sprinkling on the dark brown wooden floor.

Across from the marble fireplace, there stood a comfortable single recliner and a wide office desk. On the desk laid a magic book with a washed-out cover and slightly curled edges.

This was a book the magic science teacher had given him, recording "magic that can handle magical beast hairs".

Lanci was currently in the principal’s office, leisurely reclining on this dark leather chair cushion.

The other demon students who were brought here dutifully waited on the other side of the principal’s office. They were watched over by a group of fifth-order demon teachers, none of them dared make a sound.

"Great Love Poet, I’m relying on you from now on."

Lanci closed his eyes and communicated with the Great Love Poet, with whom he had a connection in mind.

"You really know how to use me, but don’t worry, leave it to me."

The Great Love Poet’s joyful thoughts echoed back in Lanci’s mind.

Although asking her to help with the laundry and cooking was out of the question, Lanci knew that this kind of task was right up her alley. In fact, she was even more enthusiastic than him.

"I hope you can offer a pleasant healing journey for Mr. Blood Clan Messenger."

Lanci thought to himself.

He then stopped disturbing the Great Love Poet.

She would get annoyed if he chattered too much.

All he needed to do was tell her the plan for this professional task, and then wait for her to shine.

The Great Love Poet was a pure demon. Making her his stand-in messenger, Lanci was not at all worried about the Blood Clan Messenger spotting any racial issues.

When creating the card in the past, Talia had sneakily mixed a small amount of her blood to unseal [Poem of Pity] when Lanci wasn’t paying attention.

Talia thought Lanci was unaware, but he knew all too well—the [Poem of Pity] had complex demon sealing spells on it.

This ancient artifact seemed to have been left by a member of the Great Demon Clan. As time passed and destiny interweaved, it was bound to fall into Talia’s hands, who was the only one who could unlock it.

As a result, the Great Love Poet who had obtained a part of Talia’s blood, like Talia herself, had an extraordinarily noble demon lineage.

Even the deputy principal, when he first saw the Great Love Poet, was astonished that Lanci had managed to form a summoning contract with a demon of such caliber.

But considering it was the special envoy, the deputy principal found it less surprising.

Lanci sat up, flipping through the school’s documents, occasionally jotting some notes on them.

After a while, like he just remembered something, he looked up towards the spacious main hall of the headmaster’s office.

"Please be patient, students, you will be able to return to school soon."

Lanci gently spoke, looking at the students who were standing uneasily as if they were in a military drill.

He was very sure, the other four challengers were among these students, even though he didn’t know which four exactly.

Because he had previously led the teachers to inspect room by room, his exploration progress was rapidly increasing.

And if he stepped into a classroom and the exploration progress on the Shadow World’s information panel didn’t change, it could only mean two possibilities—

Either the room had already been challenged.

Or, a challenger had entered this room and the challenge was underway!

So all he had to do was to gather all students in such classrooms to the principal’s office, the Blood Clan envoy wouldn’t be able to find the challengers disguised as demons among regular classrooms.

However, no student in the principal’s office dared to respond to Lanci.

It was their first time in the principal’s office, so close to the school’s headmaster.

"Relax, relax. If a situation like this ever arises again, we won’t keep you waiting in the principal’s office like this."

Lanci felt he should consider the feelings of the other four challengers.

While speaking, he turned to the teacher standing nearby.

"Don’t you think it would be nice to install a swimming pool in the principal’s office? It’s such a spacious place, and it’s a waste leaving it empty. Why not renovate it, and we could have pool parties with the students in the future."

The demon teacher at the side was standing dumbfounded, dripping sweat. He couldn’t tell whether the principal was serious or just joking, so he dared not respond.

Leave all else aside, even if we back off ten thousand steps, who would dare come to the principal’s office for a swim?!

Lanci could only laugh helplessly, and continue reviewing the documents before him.

On the information panel of the Shadow World, his exploration progress had reached 1200% due to his school-wide inspection, fulfilling and surpassing the first task objective of over 60%.

More than a thousand percent of which was gained from his visits as the headmaster.

Lanci felt quite satisfied. He should get fairly good scores and rewards from this Shadow World expedition.
