Nan Bingyu glanced at Chu Shuo and asked Chi Yue, “Auntie’s affairs are all sorted now, are you planning to go to work or rest for a while?”
Chi Yue said, “I’ve found a job already, I’ll start working tomorrow.”
Nan Bingyu was shocked, “That quick?”
“Yeah, you guys can go back, I want to be alone.”

“Master, care to join me for a drink?”
Fu Rongyin glanced upstairs, “You guys go ahead.”
“What a shame, I thought you would come.
By the way, why didn’t you let me tell Chi Yue that you helped her?”
“No need, just returning a favor.”
“Is that all?” Chu Shuo breathed a sigh of relief, “I thought you had some designs on Chi Yue.
Good that you don’t, it won’t stand in the way of me pursuing her.”
Fu Rongyin’s eyes narrowed slightly, “Doesn’t your family have a marriage arrangement for you?”
Chu Shuo said, “That’s not even a certainty yet, and besides, I like Chi Yue.”
Fu Rongyin was silent for a moment, “She won’t agree.”
“I won’t know unless I try, right?”
Fu Rongyin hung up the phone, and immediately another call came in.
“Ah Yin, why haven’t you come back yet?”

“Qingyu is arriving tomorrow morning, remember to pick her up.”

Chi Yue went to work the next day.

Nan Bingyu invited her to dinner and picked her up outside the studio.

“I found a restaurant with good flavors, let’s give it a try,” she said.
Chi Yue, “Sounds good.”
Nan Bingyu took a glance at her, “I heard your studio always has some interesting incidents.
Did anything happen today?”
Chi Yue glanced at her, “What are you referring to?”
“Wasn’t there a rich lady who dragged her husband and her nephew here for an appraisal last time?
I heard today the results came out, and it turns out the nephew is actually her husband’s biological child.”
Chi Yue was speechless, “You seem to know more about my job than I do.”
“Hey, the love for gossip is universal,” Nan Bingyu chuckled.
The restaurant wasn’t far from where Chi Yue worked, and they got out of the car and walked towards it.
Just as they were about to enter, Nan Bingyu suddenly stopped.
“Yueyue, how about we try somewhere else?”
Chi Yue was puzzled.
Dragging Chi Yue away, Nan Bingyu suggested, “Let’s go somewhere else, the place next door is also quite good.”

Someone from behind caught up with them in two quick steps.
