Miss Gu Qingyu looked pure and her eyes seemed harmless.
“But I just heard someone say that Brother AhYin entered your room, Miss Chi.
Do you mind if I take a look?
If there’s no one there, it would prove your innocence, wouldn’t it?”
Miss Chi Yue pondered for a moment, “Come in.”
In line with her wishes, Gu Qingyu entered the room and circled around, her plain little face crumpled in frustration.
She had received a phone call saying that Miss Chi and Chu Shuo had boarded the cruise ship, so she rushed over immediately.
On her way, she received another call saying Fu Rongyin had entered Miss Chi’s room, so as soon as she boarded the ship, she headed straight for Miss Chi’s room.
But why was the room empty?
Gu Qingyu’s gaze lingered on the closed bathroom door for a long time, and realizing her own thoughts, she actually felt quite absurd.

A sound of something heavy falling came from the bathroom.
Gu Qingyu was already at the door, but upon hearing the noise, turned back and pointed at the bathroom door, questioning Miss Chi, “What was that noise?”
Miss Chi’s expression remained unchanged, “There’s a cat inside.”
“A cat?
How could there be a cat here?”
“If you don’t believe me, you can go in and check.”
Gu Qingyu was allergic to cat hair and was also afraid that Fu Rongyin was inside, so she refused, “You bring the cat to me to see.”
Miss Chi nodded slightly, “Please step back a bit, I’m afraid the cat might hurt you.”
Subconsciously, Gu Qingyu took two steps back, “You go.”
Miss Chi pursed her lips and opened the bathroom door.
“Wait.
Don’t open the door so wide, what if it runs out?”
Miss Chi entered the bathroom and partially closed the door, leaving only a small crack.
She steadied herself only to be pulled into an embrace, and the man’s familiar scent overwhelmed her breath.
Miss Chi was caught off guard and unconsciously hummed.
Gu Qingyu’s voice immediately rose, “What’s the matter?
Did something happen?”
Miss Chi pushed the man away, “Nothing, I just bumped into something.”
“Then hurry up and bring the cat out.”
It wasn’t that Gu Qingyu was naive or easily fooled, she had her own thoughts.
If Miss Chi couldn’t bring the cat out, it would prove that the cat was fake and the person inside was real.
On one hand, she hoped Miss Chi wouldn’t bring out the cat, and on the other hand, she feared that it was Fu Rongyin coming out.
As she was thinking, Miss Chi emerged from the bathroom holding a cat.
Gu Qingyu didn’t notice the huge sigh of relief she let out when she saw Miss Chi coming out of the bathroom with the cat.
Thank goodness it was just a cat!
Miss Chi came over holding the cat, “Miss Gu, is there anything else?”
Gu Qingyu’s mood improved, “Nothing, I’ll be going now.
Remember to have someone look for me if you see Brother AhYin.”
“Sure, take care.”
After Gu Qingyu left, Miss Chi went to close the door holding the cat.
She returned to the bathroom door and stood firm, “Mr.
Fu, your fiancée has left.”
There was no response from inside.
Miss Chi did not go in, “It seems she has urgent business with you; you should leave quickly.”
Suddenly there was the sound of running water from inside, but no voice from Fu Rongyin.
Miss Chi frowned as she walked into the bathroom.
Before she could clearly see what was going on inside, water from the showerhead poured down on her from above, and the cat in her arms cried out in shock and fled.
Miss Chi turned her head and was suddenly confronted with the sight of Fu Rongyin, his white shirt soaked through, his abdominal muscles faintly visible.
