Chapter 32 - Is He Really A Noob?

Feeling a trace of familiarity to this shop despite only seeing it for the first time in his life, Azrael then decided that he should probably make some time to visit this grandiose place, but not for now, as he knows that there's no way the amount of money he is currently carrying would be enough to buy even the cheapest thing within that store. 𝓷ℴ𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶

'I should probably start buying those things I saw now, hopefully they're still there...' thinking of the only disadvantage of not rushing to buy on those stalls, the young man thought to himself, knowing that there is a chance that other people who might also take interest in the things he intends to buy might not be as patient as him and immediately proceed to purchase those things.

Now treading the street once again in hopes of finding the things he decided to purchase previously, the young man then goes to the stall selling those things one by one, making sure that he takes his time before going to another stall, making sure to make the most out of his money by bargaining as much as he can with the stall owners trying to sell those stuff.

While he is hoping that some of them might not be knowledgeable enough to know the actual price of the things they are selling, of course, there's just no way that they would be, after all, while appraisal of the products they are selling might be quite hefty, these stall owners would rather take this small loss rather than losing out big time not knowing the actual value of the things they are selling and letting potential customers have it for far cheaper price.

"Come on, this Molten Core Gold is really rare young man, you wouldn't find it anywhere else this easy!!" pushing the rock in his hand towards Azrael, a stall owner starts explaining with a clear tone of sternness in his voice, almost as if he is threatening the young man to buy the stone in his hand for the price he is offering right now.

"Boss, we both know that while Molten Core Gold is truly a rare material, the size of that thing in your hand is not worth fifteen gold coins! This is practically a scam in broad daylight, well, except for the fact that it is currently nighttime..." Azrael reasoned out as he once again pushed the stone back towards the stall owner selling it to him, said stall owner clicking his tongue as he wondered just how a young man this young could know this much about things as rare as the Molten Core Gold.

"Tsk, you're a smart fellow, kid, how much can you give for this thing then?" finally deciding to give up since what the young man said is the truth, the old man asked as he scratch his balding head, acting like he just loses out on a deal despite the fact that said deal has yet to conclude.

"Ten gold for that, nothing more nothing less, and also, stop bothering me trying to sell other things, this is the only thing worth buying in your stall anyways" Azrael stated with the calm still not leaving his voice, his deal making the old man grit his teeth in contemplation as he acts like he is truly considering whether to take the young man's offer or not, eventually sighing in defeat after a few moments before he replies.

"Fine, ten gold coins, no less!" the old man declared with quite the defeat in his tone, all while gloating at his success in scamming the young man in front of him, his mind filled with thoughts such as.

'Idiot!! Hahaha, I thought you were competent, but it looks like you're still too inexperienced to buy things in my great stall!! Ten gold coins for a fist-sized Molten Core Gold!? HAHAHAH this thing can be bought with three gold coins easily!! Hahaha!!'

While thinking of this, Azrael is looking at the old man's gloating face, knowing that this man somehow thought that he managed to triumph over him in this haggling battle, not knowing the fact that deep inside, this young man, this opponent of his is also gloating extremely as he looks down on him for not knowing the most valuable part of this ore is.

'Hahahaha!! What the fuck is ten gold coins for this!? Damn, the appraiser that did his work on this thing might be real incompetent, not being able to see through the Compressed Core inside the Molten Core Gold!! This shit is good stuff!!'

He thought to himself as he takes his time giving the ten gold coins of payment for the Molten Core Gold, his acting making the old man and all the other onlookers that was pulled by the old man's shouting believe that this young man got swindled out of his money really bad, still smiling like he is victorious in this haggling battle despite having paid ten gold coins for such a small size of Molten Core Gold.

'He looks gullible, maybe I should try to sell some 'good things' to him as well'

'Maybe I can swindle some gold out of him as well?'

'Let's try our luck with that young man, worst come to worst, I might still be earning a good amount from him, hahaha'

Looking at the gloating smile of the old stall owner as he receives the ten gold coins from the young man, the other stall owners couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of such sale, earning more than twice of the original product's value just by encountering a person noob enough to fall for such deception.

While they are trying to approach this 'noob' though, said person already left, his movements making them wonder whether it is truly worth it for them to try to swindle him out of his money, as the way he adeptly avoided people as he weaves around shows just how skilled of an ascender he is.

'Is he a noob or not?' in their collective minds, the people who witnesses this young man having to pay ten gold coins for something that is only worth three or even less gold coins starts to wonder, his movements making them confused whether he is truly a noob or not.
