"You deliberately entered the wrong room, didn't you? And conveniently stripped yourself clean, just waiting for me to come back and sleep with you." Yan Ting sneered coldly, standing at the bathroom door.
"No... it's not like that!" Banxia's heart jumped in panic. She immediately sprang up from the bed, disregarding the pain, and frantically started putting her dress back on. She didn't even bother with her shoes, just grabbed them and dashed out of the room.
As soon as she stepped out, she saw a room card being tossed to the ground.
Banxia quickly picked it up and swiped it against the door to the adjacent room. The door clicked open.

So... she really had entered the wrong room?

She wanted to slap herself, hard, twice.
Returning to her own room, the effects of the alcohol had worn off. Banxia rushed into the bathroom and scrubbed herself from head to toe, hard enough that her skin turned red.

Just as she finished putting her dress back on and was about to start doing her makeup, there was a knock at the door.
She opened it to see Qing Lin standing there. His face was tinged with a faint flush from drinking. The moment the door opened, he stepped inside effortlessly.
Then, he closed the door behind him.
Seeing him in such a state, Banxia immediately became alert.
"Banxia, you've showered?" Qing Lin caught a faint, fresh fragrance in the air, like the kind that would naturally belong to a woman.
Qing Lin had never harbored romantic feelings for Banxia before, but at this moment—whether due to the alcohol or the faint scent in the room—he found himself suddenly noticing that, despite her irritating personality, Banxia was undeniably a stunning beauty.
Banxia quickly seated herself back in front of the mirror and continued drawing her eyebrows, responding indifferently, "Isn't there an important event tonight? I need to get dressed up."
Qing Lin lazily sat down on the bed, leaning against the headboard, and narrowed his eyes as he studied the woman's reflection in the mirror.
Her skin was fair and smooth, her long black hair half-wet and cascading over her dress. Her delicate, well-proportioned features had been meticulously accentuated. Every movement and smile carried an inherent allure and coquettishness unique to women.
"Banxia, I just realized—you're really quite beautiful," Qing Lin spoke sincerely, his mood having improved.
Banxia's back stiffened, and a shiver ran through her, leaving goosebumps in its wake.
"Oh? Does that mean you've always thought I wasn't beautiful?" she asked mockingly.
Qing Lin suddenly stood up from the bed and took steps forward, closing the distance between them.
Banxia was so startled that she immediately stood up from the vanity, turning to face him warily.
Qing Lin's eyes darkened, and his voice dropped, becoming raspy: "Banxia, do you love me?"
There was a distinct arrogance in his expression. After all, Banxia had confessed her love for him more than once in the past.
