Ho Ming, however, was mesmerized by the scene in front of him.

Better to be safe and ask Lin Fan before making any move.

There were rustling of the leaves, insects pollinating the flowers in full bloom, and squirrels scurrying around on the trees.

He heard footsteps come up to them from behind.

To their surprise, figures emerged from behind the tree trunks.

This time the air cannon attacks were too numerous for it to hold, and the turtle shell cracked from the impact.
When Lin Fan appeared again at the side of the demonic mushrooms, he took in a deep breath.

The intense heat and molten ember pelted at the demonic mushrooms, making them burn, giving out a roasted smell.
Lin Fan then took out his hammers ready to swipe at the demonic mushrooms.
The demonic mushrooms changed tactics, and they dispersed away from Lin Fan.

The purple spores which now colored the surroundings into a shade of purple were most likely poisonous.

As the spores got near him, they got burnt from the intense heat.
Ho Ming crossed his swords in front of his body and directed his Qi into his swords.
The blades of the swords were engulfed in flames the next moment.

The Scorching Gale Twin Fang with its flame and wind, set fire in the area in front of Ho Ming.

Flames rose from the ground and scorched the purple spores.
Ho Ming thrust his swords at the flames and the twirling wind caused the flames to erupt into a larger wall of fire.
The Flame Echo Sword Technique was a perfect match with the Qing Feng Sword Style.
As the purple spores in the air subsided, and the flames stopped burning, there were no demonic mushrooms in sight.

He wasn't about to let his guard down as these demonic mushrooms, even though they weren't too powerful alone, fought like a unit and could be dangerous.
It was as if someone was commanding them from a distance away.
"I don't think you can call these mushrooms beautiful," Ho Ming held his sword up on high alert and said.
After a few moments of silence, and no demonic mushrooms in sight, Lin Fan shrugged and walked over to Ho Ming.
"I think we better get going. This island isn't what it appears to be."
Ho Ming agreed and nodded.
They oriented themselves and walked in the direction of a huge tower in the middle of the island.
