Shen Roujia walked towards the northern wolves, leaving Ai Yigu shocked and bewildered. The wolves seemed to sense Shen Roujia’s presence, and they looked at her with an unexpectedly friendly gaze.
They wagged their tails in a manner completely unlike typical wolves.
Shen Roujia curiously glanced at Ai Yigu before cautiously extending her hand towards the wolves. When she finally touched their soft fur, her heart melted.
Once Shen Roujia accepted the situation, she found it hard to believe why such a strange scene was unfolding before her.
The two northern wolves seemed to recognize Shen Roujia. They even nudged their two cubs toward her.
Shen Roujia found herself surrounded by a group of fierce little animals, feeling both flattered and amused.
Meanwhile, Ai Yigu was so frightened that she fainted on the spot.
On the other side, Wen Surong suddenly stood up, “What did you say? The sentry posts on the western side were all killed?”
“Who did it?”
Tu Lie looked at the messenger and asked.
The servant shrank back and replied slowly, “We don’t know yet, but we found wolf fur at the scene. We still don’t know where the wolves are now.”
Upon hearing this, Wen Surong glanced at Tu Lie. Tu Lie seemed to realize something and shouted at Wen Surong, “Father, this is bad! Xiao Rou and Ai Yigu went to the west to plant flowers. They haven’t returned yet, and they should have been back by now!” 𝖓𝖔𝖛𝔭𝖚𝖇.𝔠𝖔𝔪
Wen Surong stood up and yelled, “What are you all waiting for? Go find them now!”
