"Hurry up."

Carl, with his hands on his hips, stood in the hallway supervising, his face full of impatience.

All he wanted at the moment was some alone time with Qiao Suisui, but his wife had assigned him this "quality time" with the kids, and he feared she would be upset if he didn’t comply. Ugh, annoying.

At that moment, four little boys were also squatting at Carl’s feet, watching their older brothers move bags of seeds in and out, loosening the soil and fertilizing.

Carl kicked Tata lightly, asking, "Do you think Mom likes girls more too?"

Tata, supporting his chin with his chubby hand, looked back at Carl contemptuously and replied, "Whose fault is it that we don’t have a sister?"

"Hey, you little rebel," Carl laughed in spite of himself, "I’m telling you, if it weren’t for your mom, I wouldn’t bother with you guys at all."

The man crossed his arms and stood for a while before striding toward the direction of the palace.

"Dad, where are you going?" Tata called from behind.

"To make a little sister."

Bellini: .....

Tata: ...

Klein: ...

Aria: ...

"Bro, can’t we really switch to a different dad?" Aria asked.

"I want to switch too," Bellini said.

"I think Uncle Ruka would make a great dad for us," Tata said.

"Agreed."

"+1."

"Agreed."

The four youngsters exchanged looks and then turned their gaze toward Ruka, who was planting flowers under the sun alongside other youths. They ran over to him, hugged his legs, acting cute and trying to charm him.

...

At that moment, Qiao Suisui, who was chatting with the girls, saw Carl walk in. She looked up and asked, "All done?"

Without further explanation, Carl scooped her up and said to the four girls, "Can I have my wife back now?"

Qiao Suisui’s face turned red, and she pounded on his chest, glaring at him, "What are you talking about!"

The man looked at her with a face full of grievance, "When is it my turn? I haven’t even talked to you much."

Lilia was already shy, covering her face with her hands, Vanessa had heard about the unpredictable Uncle Carl, and even now, she was immensely shocked. She quickly pulled her sisters along to hastily bid their farewells, glancing back frequently to enjoy the commotion, looking back three times for every step they took, until they exited the palace doors and thoughtfully closed them behind.

Qiao Suisui grabbed Carl by the neck, scolding, "Can’t you behave yourself in front of the kids!"

Carl placed her on the vanity, knocking over an array of bottles and jars. He leaned over her, pressing her against the mirror. His arm propped near her ear, he whispered softly, "It’s not my fault, it was Tata who said he wanted a little sister."

He kissed her lips repeatedly, remembering how during all those years she was asleep, he had kissed her countless times like this, but then, her lips were so cold, cold enough to break his heart.

Carl persisted in his advances, his hands caressing her slender waist, deftly loosening the ties of her skirt.

Qiao Suisui placed her hands on his chest, panting as she tried to evade.

"Wait... Carl, not here..."

"Why not? I want you to watch us..."

Carl turned her around, embracing her tightly from behind, kissing her neck.

Qiao Suisui looked at the intimate reflection of the two of them in the mirror, somewhat at a loss.

On this timeline, they had surely done everything there was to do, but in the original timeline, she had never really been with him at all.

Thinking of this, a blush spread from the corner of her eyes to her ears.

Carl, noticing her shyness, couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

"Sweetheart, relax a bit."

The man’s long, strong hands cradled her chin, made her look up to meet his kiss. As he kissed her, he glanced at the mirror and saw her beautiful, pale neck, immediately feeling a tightness in his lower abdomen.

Carl’s arms went under her knees, scooping her up with one hand and then half-carrying her on his shoulder as he strode towards the big bed.

He kissed her earlobes, shoulders, collarbones, moving downwards.

His tongue became his gentlest weapon, forcing her to surrender.

Carl’s hands clenched hers tightly; he was more assertive than usual, relentlessly entwining with her over and over, seemingly tireless.

The man protected her head with one hand to prevent her from hitting the headboard, then incessantly whispered her name in her ear.

"Suisui, don’t leave me again..."

"Look at me, Suisui. Don’t close your eyes..."

"Sweetheart, say you love me, you love me, right?"

"You won’t leave me again, will you?"

"Do you know how much I want you to look at me like this?"

He pinched her slender wrist, kissed the palm of her hand, then pressed it against his cheek.

"Your hand is warm, all of this is real..."

"Please don’t leave me alone anymore..."

Carl wasn’t actually as carefree as he appeared, his heart still enveloped in panic, this was his way of incessantly reassuring himself that she was alive, she was real.

He watched her nonstop, watched her whimpering for mercy, watched the crimson flush on her cheeks, her distracted expression; he could never get enough.

Qiao Suisui felt as if her body was being split open. Initially, she gasped, pleading for him to stop, but she found Carl just wouldn’t listen, merely soothing her with words while still holding her tightly, giving her no time to think, plunging into the surging sea of desire again and again.

The temperature in the room rose, and she lay on the bed, finally getting a chance to breathe after indulging.

Her pale, slender arms dangled from the edge of the bed, the silk covers loosely draped over her, revealing the smooth and elegant lines of her back.

The man kissed her back, knowing he had gone a bit too far, and carefully tried to please her.

"Are you angry?"

Qiao Suisui ignored him. She actually didn’t have the energy to respond.

Carl turned her around and pulled her into his arms, gently pecking her lips.

"Don’t be mad at me."

"Blame Tata."

"He insisted on having a little sister."

Qiao Suisui couldn’t help but laugh and cry at this.

"That’s your own son. Be careful how you treat them now; they might not care for you later."

Carl resumed kissing her arms and said unconcernedly, "They haven’t cared for me for a while now, a day or two more won’t make a difference."

Seeing her silent again, he quickly coaxed, "Okay, okay, I’ll spend more time with them from now on, okay?"

Qiao Suisui asked him, "You don’t actually like kids, do you?"

Carl paused, and honestly replied, "I just have no concept of being a father. I was born not knowing who my parents were, grew up in an orphanage with a bunch of kids, we all had no parents, so we only understood the concept of brothers."

He held her tightly, his legs entwined with hers like an octopus, only then did he show a satisfied smile.

"But I promise you, I’ll try to learn to be a good dad. I might not be as good as Sikoses, but the kids will definitely not be afraid of me. When they encounter something they don’t dare to say to Sikoses, they will come to me, and then I’ll come tell you right away, okay?" 𝓷ℴ𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶

Qiao Suisui laughed, "Aren’t you selling them out then?"

Carl kissed the upturned corners of her mouth and smiled, "Of course, no matter how many children we have in the future, I will always be on your side. If today someone like Bellini dared to speak to you like that, I would have kicked them out of the house immediately."

Qiao Suisui laughed until she was almost breathless, chuckling, and suddenly a pang of sorrow surged in her heart.

Would the four snow leopard cubs from this timeline still appear after the next change she made?
