Hikari and Ayase sat across from each other at a white table. They'd each gotten their own separate deserts, and the elf chose something that was more familiar to her. It was a kind of pudding native to this world. One of the ingredients was a fruit from a magical tree.

The elf grabbed a spoonful of the white pudding and took a bite. Her eyes lit up as the sweetness swept through her mouth.

Ayase watched the elf with a smile on her face. "You look so cute when you get to enjoy food. I could watch this scene all day."

The elf felt her face heating up and gestured to Ayase's own desert. It was an unfamiliar sponge cake. Even the base was made from different ingredients than what Hikari remembered about Earth cakes. It didn't really surprise her that Ayase would choose something mysterious and different.

Ayase nodded and took a bite of hers. She looked surprised as she let the flavors soak in. "You should really try this one. I won't tell you what it tastes like, but I want to see your face when you eat it."

The witch put another piece of cake on her fork and lifted it to Hikari's mouth. "Say ahhhh, and make way for the air ship."

Hikari opened her mouth obediently, and let the devilish witch put the cake on her tongue. Despite being a completely unfamiliar dessert, the taste was something she remembered. The elf's eyes widened as she chewed it. "Tiramisu?"

The witch nodded. "It does taste like that, doesn't it? Though, the texture is a bit different from the coffee cake. It's not as wet as a tiramisu. Do you want another bite?"

Ayase took a bite of the cake herself, and the fork lingered in her mouth. She took it out deliberately and slowly. She cut off another piece of the sponge cake and hoisted it to Hikari's lips.

The elf girl somehow thought the second bite tasted even better. She savored the flavor before looking down at her own pudding. Hikari took a small spoonful of her pudding and offered it to Ayase.

"Don't mind if I do," the witch said. Her smile never faded, and she basked in the flavor of the pudding. "I think this pudding tastes much better since you licked the spoon first."

The elf's face turned red. "Don't be silly."

Ayase chuckled at the elf. "What do you want to do next, my darling goddess?"

"We can walk around to the front of the ship on this floor. The view there is supposed to be excellent."

"Sounds like a plan."

The two finished their deserts and held hands on their way to the front of the air ship. When they got their, they found several couples holding hands and leaning on the railing.

A railing separated the passengers from a drop off to the floor below, and there was a large glass window showing what they were flying over. It continued onto the lower floor and provided a spectacular view of the ground below.

They flew over crop fields and greenery. It was clear from this perspective that the steam blimp was relatively slow. It would definitely be faster and safer than horse back, but it was still only inching along.

The daylight outside had already started dwindling, and the stars began to make themselves known. Hikari and her witch held each other's hand, and their other hands were on the railing as both of them looked up into the night sky.

It sort of reminded the elf of the night she shared with Syndra. The elf felt nostalgic while looking at the stars. She pointed up and whispered to her witch, "where do you think Earth is in all of that mess."

Ayase leaned her head against Hikari's shoulder. "I have no idea. Going back there would be nice. Imagine everyone's face when they see a dragon girl walking around."

"Don't be silly. They'll flip out from you being dressed as a witch."

"Maybe they won't. Remember, cosplay was popular where we lived. They might simply think I'm an internet celebrity. You on the other hand...You have those pretty ears." The witch reached up and grasped one of the pointed tips in her fingers. "I can't get enough of these."

Hikari felt tingles running along her body from the sensation. She grabbed Ayase's hand and moved it to her waist. "Maybe you can't get enough, but you have no idea how it makes me feel."

Ayase shrugged and wrapped both of her arms around the elf's midsection.

Hikari understood what the witch wanted and inched forwards until their lips met. The elf wrapped Ayase in her arms tight, until the two just held each other. She whispered into Ayase's ear, "do you think all of this makes me selfish?"

The witch whispered back, "I don't think you're selfish at all. You already accepted the proposal that each of your girls can go on dates with each other. Rather, I think you're overly kind sometimes."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you're supposed to be a goddess, but you have all of the power and none of the vengeance. Do you remember the mythology on Earth? It's natural for gods to have a vengeance. When mortals disrespect them or something is taken from them, don't you think it would be normal for them to lash out?"

"I did kill Amelia's sister, remember?"

The witch sighed. "That is hardly a fitting example. That was another act done out of kindness. You freed that woman from an eternity of torment. She'd wanted to die, and you ended her life. Kurayami already told me the story in detail. Why would that be something considered vengeful?"

Hikari chuckled. "You want me to start doing vengeful things? I could begin striking down all heretics, and I could become more wrathful."

The witch laughed. "There's no way you'd ever become wrathful. If you got angry, then someone must have done something really bad." 𝙣𝒐𝙫𝙥𝙪𝙗.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"I'm not perfect, you know."

Ayase sighed once more. "You're perfect to me. Besides, not getting angry would make you the opposite of perfect, wouldn't it? Anger is a good thing. It's a necessary part of us."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, it's not like you don't get angry, but you have a certain temperance about you. You'd never use your anger to justify doing something terrible. That's what sets you apart from tyrants. You could easily become a tyrant with all of your power, but instead, you let people pull you sometimes."

"Would you like me if I was a tyrant?"

The witch laughed. "I love you because you're you, and that means not being a tyrant. However, I think you can be a little more tyrannical sometimes. You've grown a lot from what I hear, but you can still be more willful."

"What do you mean?"

Ayase responded by picking up one of Hikari's hands and placing it on her boob. "This is what I'm talking about."

Before Hikari could answer, Ayase kissed her lips again. The witch wrapped her hands behind the elf and grabbed onto Hikari's butt. "I'm also talking about something like this."

The elf nodded in understanding. "However, what about all of the people around us?"

"Don't worry about them. They can't even see what they're doing. Look." The witch pointed to a couple who were making out away from them. "They're too busy being enthralled in each other to even notice the world around them."

"I guess you're right."

"I know I'm right." The witch's demeanor changed, and she looked side to side nervously. "Have you thought about marriage yet?"

The elf looked at her witch in surprise. "I won't lie and say that I haven't, but I'm not even sure how a marriage like this would work."

"The reason I ask is because your dragon called dibs on being the first wife. I was wondering if after you two get married, then we could have our own wedding on Earth. Maybe even after the vampire…"

Hikari felt heat rushing to her cheeks again as she considered it. In theory, she could have several different types of marriages and experience all of them. In the end, she'd be able to call each of her girls her wives. My wife Ayase? That doesn't sound bad at all.

Ayase kissed the elf's cheek. "You don't have to think about it right now, but I Hope that you'll consider it."

The Goddess of Hope chuckled. "I guess this will be a wish I'm forced to grant. If I don't grant it, people might say that I'm not even running my domain properly."

"You're a dork sometimes, you know that?"

"Are you trying to say that I'm socially awkward? Is it really wise for my future wife to start bulling me?"

"Future...wife…"

Hikari giggled from the witch's antics and grabbed onto her hand, interlocking their fingers together. "Stop being silly. Let's just enjoy the rest of the night."

"Yes, darling."
