Chapter 345: Chapter 247 Great Harvest, Setting Off Again

When Lu Qing emerged from the Treasure Pavilion, a smile graced his face.

The haul from this expedition was simply enormous.

Almost all of the centuries’, close to a millennium, accumulation of the Flowing Cloud Sect had found its way into his possession, and the feeling was just too good.

With the spoils from this venture, what heuld do next was boundless.

However…

Standing at the door of the Treasure Pavilion, Lu Qing fell into deep thought.

Although the gains from the pavilion were substantial, he always felt that this might not be all the treasures of the Flowing Cloud Sect.

It was simple, nsidering the selfishness displayed by his senior brothers Mo Hu and Mo Zhen, it was clear they wouldn’t possibly leave all their treasures in the Treasure Pavilion.

There had to be other treasures hidden elsewhere.

Unfortunately, despite his previous search, he had found no such secret places.

Those treasures had to be hidden in spots where the eyeuldn’t reach, or perhaps they weren’t within the Flowing Cloud Sect at all.

Otherwise, his Superpower would have certainly detected them.

Nevertheless, even though heuldn’t find those treasures, Lu Qing felt no regret.

The world was so vast, and the treasures itntaineduldn’t possibly all belong to one man.

With his findings from the pavilion, Lu Qing felt quitentent.

Therefore, he didn’t dwell on it any further and pulled out an ordinary cloth bag from the Qiankun Qi Bag. After filling it with some items, he headed in the direction of the Martial Arts Training Ground.

“Ah, Young Master Lu hasme out.”

The swordsman chatting with the elder doctor at the Martial Arts Training Ground was surprised to see Lu Qing’s figure.

When Lu Qing approached, he smiled and said, “Young Master, you’veme out so soon. Didn’t you find any treasure?”

“I did,” Lu Qing showed the cloth bag on his back, “I found a Treasure Pavilion with quite a few things. I don’t understand what’s valuable, so I just randomly picked some stuff.”

“Oh, thenngratulations are in order, Young Master.”

The swordsman smiled warmly but didn’t inquire further about what treasures Lu Qing had acquired.

“Master, now that the Flowing Cloud Sect has been extinguished, when shall we depart?” Lu Qing asked.

The elder doctor thought for a moment, then said, “Once we return to the town, we’ll pack up and leave.”

“You all are leaving so soon?” the swordsman was taken aback.

“Yes, since the matters here havencluded, it’s time for us to leave,” the elder doctor nodded.

“But you have rid Yunzhou of the urge of the Flowing Cloud Sect, and saved so many fellows here in Yunzhou. We have not yet had the chance to properly thank you,” the swordsman hurriedly said.

“That won’t be necessary,” the elder doctor chuckled, “Our visit to Yunzhou was just aincidence, and we have more important matters to attend to in Central State. It’s not appropriate to linger here any longer. Mr. Yan, we appreciate your sentiment, please don’t be overlyurteous.”

The swordsman persuaded them for a while, but upon learning that Lu Qing and the others did indeed have urgent matters to attend to in Central State, he finally gave up.

“Mr. Yan, just knowing this will suffice. Please do not broadcast this widely.”

The elder doctor certainly didn’t want to be encircled and bid farewell to by onlookers when it came time to leave.

“This… Understood.”

Although the swordsman felt that it wasn’t quite proper, he agreed nonetheless.

His interaction with the elder doctor might not have been long, but heuld tell that the doctor was truly indifferent to fame and wealth and did not care for such ceremonious formalities.

When the three returned to Liuyun Town, they did not stir much of ammotion.

Before departing, they had not explicitly stated their intention to destroy the Flowing Cloud Sect. Therefore, although some guessed at it, no one dared tonfirm their suspicions.

“Sir, are we leaving now?”

Outside the restaurant, Ma Gu was stunned to hear the news.

He had thought they would be staying in Liuyun Town for the day.

“Mm, we have already delayed enough days in Yunzhou, it is better to head to Central State sooner. The sky is still bright, we can stillver auple of hours of journey, there’s no need to linger here,” the elder doctor said.

After witnessing the reckless slaughter of living creatures by the Flowing Cloud Sect without anyone intervening, the elder doctor was even more eager to find out about the situation in Central State and naturally felt no inclination to stay any longer.

“I’ll prepare the carriage right away.”

Upon hearing this, Ma Gu immediately headed out.

“Doctor Chen, Young Master Lu, are you leaving?”

The stout middle-aged man, overhearing thenversation, expressed his surprise.

Xu Ping and others also looked over in astonishment.

“Yes, Mr. Xu, it appears we must part ways this time,” the elder doctor told the round, plump man, feeling a surge of melancholy.

Previously, he had sensed a significant danger from Mr. Xu and hismpanions. Now, it seemed his premonition had not been wrong.

Had he and Ah Qing not ampanied Mr. Xu to the Flowing Cloud Sect, his disciples and he, upon entering Liuyun Town to seek lodging, would likely have not escaped the fate of being refined by the malevolent Array.

Now, he no longer sensed any ominous signs from them.

Clearly, the catastrophe that was originally their fate had been resolved, and in the short term, they should not face any further dangers.

“Doctor Chen…”

The stout middle-aged man looked at the elder doctor, having many questions in mind, yet he wasn’t sure how to begin asking.

“Mr. Xu, there’s no need forncern. Meeting is fate, and this is just a temporary separation. Should we be fortunate enough to cross paths in the future, we’ll surely meet again one day,” the elder doctor said with a smile.

“Sir, the carriage is ready.”

At this moment, Ma Gu came over.

“Alright, Ah Qing, let’s go.”

The elder doctor took the lead toward the carriage.
