Chapter 18: Chapter 18 - Tricking the Goddess of Love
Lucius looked at the name of the person who was entering his store, and heuld not believe it.
Aphrodite.
The Goddess of Love. There was no one who didn't know her name, as she was a key part of the Greek Gods, something that was vaguely known across the world. However, everyone knew of Aphrodite because of her mind-blowing looks and charm.
It was said that no man had ever managed to resist her charms in her entire existence, and Lucius, who was behind theunter, was currently thinking of a way to do just that.
He had a clear idea in mind.
'What if I managed to get Aphrodite to fall in love with me and bme one of my employees...' Lucius smirked as heuld imagine the Goddess of Love and Sex in his bed, waiting for him every night next to Alicia, his personal elven princess.
'If that were to actually happen...'
Luciusuld only imagine just how great all of this would be. However, he knew that it was bound to be quite hard to do such a thing. After all, there was a chance that the love potion would not work on the Goddess of Love and Sex, which was the only thing thatuld potentially make Aphroditempletely fall in love with Lucius.
Lucius still patiently waited behind theunter as he awaited Aphrodite's appearance within his line of sight.
Within snds, she did.
Her long, pink hair flew in the wind. Her bright pink eyes looked around, a little lost over where she was, trying to make sense of her surroundings. Her face was simply perfect; there was nothing to fix or dislike about it. She just looked like the perfect woman.
She was currently wearing an ample white dress that went all the way down to her ankles. However, even with such a dress, her body was easily seen.
Her breasts were plump and the perfect size, her hard nipples even showing through her dress, immediately being noticed by Lucius, whould barely keep his eyes off her.
Her dress also showcased her cleavage extremely well, as there was a v-line around the neck area that went down all the way to her chest.
And even as she walked in front of Lucius, he was able to see her ass jiggle with every step she took.
'Fuck... I must get her no matter what...'
Lucius was just frozen there, his mouth wide open as heuld not look away from her for the life of him. He wasmpletely absorbed and obsessed with her looks.
'I can understand why no man ever refused her... They would have to be the most stupid people on Earth to refuse such a beautiful woman. There is no doubt about it.'
Lucius justntinued to watch her,mpletely stunned as shentinued to walk in his direction.
He didn't realize it, but he only blinked once, and she was just standing before him, only inches away.
Lucius shook his head, realizing that she was already so close.
'Is it because of how pretty she is? I didn't even notice her getting closer...'
Luciusuldn't help himself as his eyes lowered slightly toward her cleavage, gazing briefly at it and her hard nipples thatuld be seen even through her dress.
Aphrodite obviously noticed the staring. However, it only made her smile, as she was used to such things.
She didn't say anything as she waited for Lucius to realize that she was just looking at him. However, itntinued for a few more moments until Lucius raised his head and realized what had happened, a blush appearing all over his face.
"Don't worry, it happens often when people see me for the first time..."
Luciusntinued to redden under her gaze, unable to look up.
"I-It's nice of you to visit my store... is there a reason why you came here?" Lucius asked.
"Ah... Lilith told me about it and said that some items hereuld pique my curiosity. So... here I am!"
Lucius smiled as he remembered Lilith and the deal they had made, regaining some of hisnfidence. As Lucius was about to show her his items, he suddenly remembered the glass filled with a love potion that he had taken from one of the shelves.
The glass filled with red liquid was right under theunter.
"Do you want something to drink?" Lucius asked Aphrodite, who seemed unsure. "I promise you it's nothing strange. It'll make you feel even better."
Aphrodite frowned, wondering what kind of drink that would be.
"What is it?"
"Just some water with some grenadine syrup. I swear it tastes heavenly!" Lucius said,ming up with that on the spot.
He knew that he needed to explain the redlor one way or another, which was why he told her about grenadine syrup.
"Gre...nadine? What is that?"
"You've never tried it?!" Lucius's eyes widened in surprise. "You have to try it then!"
Lucius was trying to apply pressure on Aphrodite to drink the love potion. After all, if she did, then there was a good chance that she would bme similar to Alicia in terms of behavior and would also agree to join him as his employee.
Imagine having the Goddess of Love as your employee... Luciusuld only shake his head. It was so ridiculous, but it was also possible because of how overpowered the items he sold in this store were.
"Here," Lucius grabbed the glass filled with the love potion and handed it to Aphrodite, who looked at it strangely.
She gave it a sniff and looked pleasantly surprised.
"Hm... it smells good."
'Come on... drink it!' Lucius thought in the back of his mind. 'Drink it!'
Aphrodite then grabbed the glass and brought it closer to her mouth as she took a small sip.
"Mhm..." Her eyes widened. "This tastes really good, wow!"
Aphrodite's gaze landed on Lucius right as she said that.
