Every single Shi Family martial artist had an ugly expression on their faces. The person who had arrived so abruptly and called out Shi Jingtian’s name obviously knew that Shi Jingtian was here and still dared to be so presumptuous, showing that the newcomer was no ordinary individual!
All Shi Family martial artists stood up in unison, prepared and awaiting confrontation. They saw two figures rapidly approaching from the direction of the Literacy Paradise entrance.

The Shi Family martial artists immediately recognized the tense and worried Li Zhengao among them, one of the Li Family members from before and one of the few who had fled. Had Li Zhengao brought back reinforcements?
The other person was a cold and stern man in black. His face was expressionless, appearing quite ordinary, yet naturally instilled a sense of seriousness in the hearts of those around him.
Having arrived at the Literacy Paradise estate of the Shi Family, Li Zhengao followed a step behind Su Changkong, who surveyed the surrounding area, noting each Shi Family martial artist standing guard as well as the stone sculptures.
"Li Xue, Li Mo?" The stone sculptures were lifelike, and among them Su Changkong spotted familiar faces, including elders from the Li Family.

Su Changkong thought to himself, deducing that all these stone sculptures were transformed members of the Li Family.
Apart from that, Su Changkong noticed that a few sculptures were broken, and Li Family head Li Song was not among them, as Su Changkong did not sense his presence.

The Shi Family martial artists focused their attention, intuiting that this man in black must be the reinforcement sought by the Li Family. Knowing it was their Shi Family here, yet daring to come directly to them? He must be no ordinary person!
"You are… Dao Wufeng?"
Amidst the Shi Family martial artists, someone blurted out, recognizing his identity.
"Dao Wufeng? The number one person under the Martial Saint, Dao Wufeng?"
Everybody trembled in unison, having heard of Dao Wufeng’s invincible reputation under the Martial Saint!
"He is Dao Wufeng! The murderer who killed dozens of our Shi Family’s elites!"
Some eyes revealed animosity upon hearing this. After subjugating the Li Family, they had learned why Shi Bupo and the others were annihilated.
Initially, the Shi Family thought some life-saving measure left by the ancestors of the Li Family had resulted in the fall of Shi Bupo and his companions. For a family that had once produced a Martial Saint, having some life-preserving foundations was normal.
But after capturing the Li Family members, they came to realize that it was none other than the now-famous Dao Wufeng who had slain Shi Bupo and his comrades in the Literacy Paradise.
Undoubtedly, all of the Shi Family members held animosity towards Su Changkong, but they also understood that he was not an easy target. He was extremely powerful in his own right and also a Guest Elder of the Xia Yan family.
Unexpectedly, several of the fleeing members of the Li Family had gone to the Great Flame Empire to find Dao Wufeng, and now Dao Wufeng himself had personally come!
"Dao Wufeng, what are you doing here? You are not welcome!"
Among the Shi Family martial artists, a middle-aged man in grey clothing stepped forward and questioned him with an unsightly face.

Li Zhengao also displayed a face full of animosity and sorrow. He saw several stone sculptures formed from Li Family disciples now shattered into pieces, which most likely meant they had perished!
Their Li Family, numbering just over a hundred people, was united precisely because of their small size, with close relationships among them. And yet, the Shi Family martial artists pursued them to Huangtian Country, unwilling to let them go!
Su Changkong’s words also made the faces of the Shi Family martial artists look somewhat unnatural, their behavior undoubtedly akin to that of bandits and robbers.
Not wanting to waste words with these people, Su Changkong calmly said, "Where is Shi Jingtian? I want to have a word with him in person."
Su Changkong’s purpose for coming here was to negotiate with Shi Jingtian, persuading the Shi Family to cease their attack on the Li Family.

Su Changkong had also sensed that Shi Jingtian was not in Literacy Paradise; otherwise, his arrival would have surely alarmed Shi Jingtian, who would have appeared by now.
The burly elder harbored hidden enmity against Su Changkong but restrained himself, aware that Dao Wufeng was no ordinary man. It was too irrational to take action now. They could deal with him however they pleased once Shi Jingtian returned.
Su Changkong asked directly, "Where is Shi Jingtian currently? I don’t have time to wait. I can go find him myself."
The burly elder shook his head, "I do not know... the whereabouts of the Stone King, how could I know?"
Su Changkong saw through the elder’s lie and also had a rough idea of what the other party was thinking.
With earnest persuasion, Su Changkong said, "I’m here only to ask Shi Jingtian for a favor, to stop targeting the Li Family. After all, the Li Family hasn’t provoked you. On the contrary, it is your Shi Family that has repeatedly tried to eradicate them. I believe the Li Family is willing to let bygones be bygones and turn hostility into friendship."
"It’s true… as long as your Shi Family no longer troubles our Li Family, we will not hold any grudge against the Shi Family in the future."
