Chapter 1096: Chapter 1096: Woman

"Make sure you praise me when we meet Julius Reed, got it?"

Gonzalez City, International Airport.

The flight had just landed.

Nelson wore a white long dress, a rare change from her usual sportswear.

Her hair was still styled in twin ponytails.

Playful and adorable.

She kept nagging Bamboo Whitaker, pulling her along.

"I got it, Sister!"

Bamboo Whitaker reluctantly agreed.

All the way from the plane ride, Nelson had been giving orders, endlessly fussing.

It was so annoying.

But, frustratingly, Bamboo Whitaker couldn’t just ignore her.

After all, might makes right, doesn’t it?

Especially since Nelson would threaten to give Bamboo Whitaker a haircut with Longsword, which scared the kind-hearted girl witless!

"Who cooked for you during your days in the capital?"

Nelson asked.

"It was Sister Nelson, seven dishes a meal, plus three soups, never repeating any dish!"

Bamboo Whitaker complained.

She had been eating takeout for three days straight, not allowed to spend more than twenty yuan per meal.

Only two meals a day!

And no fruit left.

What kind of life was this!

Unbearable.

"Good girl! Did Sister wash your clothes for you?"

Nelson gently patted Bamboo Whitaker’s head.

"Yes, she did. Sister washed them all, she’s the nicest to me."

As she spoke, Bamboo Whitaker almost burst into tears.

During those days in the capital, she had to wash Nelson’s clothes, she was like the modern Cinderella!

Exploitation!

Blatant exploitation!

"You’re so obedient. The plane ticket was also bought by Sister, right?"

Nelson said, already at the airport exit, dragging her suitcase.

But she looked around and didn’t see Julius Reed.

"Yes..."

Bamboo Whitaker murmured softly, "It was a fart..."

The plane ticket was hush money from Julius Reed!

Hmph!

Sooner or later, I will spill the beans about your affair!

She was fuming internally but didn’t notice Nelson’s foot casually placed in her path.

"Ouch!"

Thud!

Bamboo Whitaker, caught off-guard, face-planted.

"Ugh..."

Her eyes reddened with rage, teeth clenched, hands balled into fists!

Why!

Why was she always the one being bullied!

"Bamboo Whitaker, how could you be so careless! What if Julius Reed sees this, he might think I’ve been bullying you!"

Nelson hurried to help her up, asking with apparent concern, "Are you alright?"

"Thank you, Sister..."

Bamboo Whitaker burst into tears.

Tears streamed down uncontrollably.

"It’s okay, be good! Since you’re so obedient, after Sister meets with Julius Reed, how about we get your revenge?"

Nelson laughed out loud, squatting down to wipe Bamboo Whitaker’s tears, "Stop crying, falling down doesn’t hurt a bit, I was holding your hand after all."

Are these the words of a human being?

Bamboo Whitaker glared at Nelson indignantly.

Even though she wasn’t hurt from the fall, she was clearly wronged!

Wasn’t it just secretly tattling to Quella Radcliffe, inadvertently letting slip about Nelson’s improper relationship with Julius Reed?

Was it really necessary?

To bully a young girl like her.

"Hmph! Thanks a lot, Sister."

Bamboo Whitaker gave Nelson a sardonic look, her curiosity piqued, "Sister, will you really help me?"

It was Nelson who had saved her when she was being chased.

"Of course! Didn’t I always say I wanted to help you get revenge? And since Brother Davenport is so good to you, and I’m his woman, it’s right for me to help you get revenge."

Nelson took out a tissue from her pocket, lightly wiped off her lipstick from the corner of her mouth, then wiped the tears off Bamboo Whitaker’s face.

"All right, no crying now! When the time comes, I’ll make them kneel before you and call you ’Madam,’ how does that sound?"

"Sounds good!"

Bamboo Whitaker lifted her head, excitedly saying, "If you help me, I’ll help you! I’ll send secret signals to Brother Davenport for you, to help you two get together without anyone catching on!"

"Get lost!"

Slap!

Nelson slapped Bamboo Whitaker on the back of her head, "You’re so young, yet your mind is full of dirty thoughts. There’s nothing between your Brother Davenport and me; we just discussed the joys of life in bed that night. You’re too young to understand, but you will when you grow up!"

"Pah!"

Bamboo Whitaker pouted, oblivious to the lipstick smudged across her face like a painted clown.

At the entrance, there was no Julius Reed.

Nelson looked around but didn’t see him.

"He promised to come pick me up from the airport and then he stands me up! Damned men, no good can come from them!"

She muttered under her breath.

"Excuse me, are you Miss Nelson?"

Just then, a man came over and said softly, "I’m a friend of Mad Dragon; he was tied up today and couldn’t make it. Please follow me, Mad Dragon will meet with you later."

Behind the man was an elder.

The elder remained silent, but his body radiated a murderous aura.

"Mad Dragon?"

Nelson nodded and said, "Wait a moment, the kid needs to use the toilet."

She bent down, signaling Bamboo Whitaker with her eyes, "Hurry up, you dawdle like an ass at the mill too full to move."

Mad Dragon?

This didn’t bode well!

"Oh!"

Bamboo Whitaker, clever as she was, instantly grasped the situation.

"If I had known, I wouldn’t have drunk so much water; I nearly wet my pants."

After speaking, she turned and ran inside.

But her direction was not towards the toilet.

The airport was bustling with people, just as a flight landed. In the blink of an eye, Bamboo Whitaker disappeared into the crowd.

The elder thought about chasing her, but considering the principal person of interest was right in front of him, he decided to stay put.

One minute later.

Once Nelson was sure Bamboo Whitaker had safely left,

She spoke indifferently, "Go ahead."

"Miss Nelson, what do you mean?"

The man before her said with some surprise, "I’m a friend of Mad Dragon, is there some misunderstanding?"

"A friend?"

Nelson snorted softly, "Really?"

Whoosh!

In the midst of speaking,

A Longsword flew out from inside her sleeves!

The Longsword shone with cold light, slicing through the air!

Leap!

The elder stepped back, looking surprised.

"A Grandmaster? I wasn’t aware that Mad Dragon had two Grandmaster friends!"

After Nelson finished speaking, she charged forward!

"Chase her!"

Windy Johnson and Atticus Ellsworth followed close behind!

Clang!

Nelson swung her Longsword, clashing it against Windy Johnson’s blade.

Both were Grandmasters!

One, a great scholar of Scholar’s Way; the other, a holy maiden of Azure Mountain!

Clang! Clang!

In a brief moment, the two exchanged blows more than ten times!

Whoosh!

Just then, Atticus Ellsworth threw something forward with force!

Smoke swirled around!

And Nelson only felt dizzy for a moment before crashing to the ground.

"Thanks to Elder Ellsworth!"

Windy Johnson sheathed his Longsword, looking down at the stunned Nelson, "Medicine King Valley lives up to its reputation!"

"Fancy little tricks, let’s see how Black Wolf is faring."

Atticus Ellsworth’s voice carried a hint of pride.

"First, let’s take the person away and see what tricks Horton Moore has up his sleeve."

Windy Johnson bent down, about to hoist Nelson up!

Splat!

But Nelson, who was supposedly unconscious, suddenly thrusted out with her sword!

Windy Johnson sensed the danger, but still got stabbed in the shoulder!

Bang!

Atticus Ellsworth stepped forth,

Striking forcefully on the top of Nelson’s head!

"Are you alright?"

He pulled out some hemostatic medicine from his chest pocket and handed it to Windy Johnson.

"I’m fine!"

Windy Johnson, looking at the now knocked out Nelson, cursed in pain, "Women, truly deceitful!"
