Chapter 865: Chapter 865 Martial Association

The sword emerged.

The wind rose.

The golden dragon sparkled in the sunlight.

But at the tip of the sword!

There was an inconspicuous sun.

The twin dragons swallowed the sun.

Or perhaps, it was the twin dragons playing with a pearl.

With the Great Zhou Lanyi Sword in hand, Venassa Pine looked indifferently at Jasper Leopold.

These people, they must die.

Could they really dare to travel thousands of miles, attempting to assassinate Mad Dragon?

Martial Arts Association?

Nothing but crap.

"Young lady, seeing as you are young, I want to give you a way out,"

Jasper Leopold, with hands behind his back, spoke with full confidence!

He was a council member of the Martial Arts Association, a position of high stature and influence!

Any martial artist who met him would kneel and bow in deep respect!

And now.

A mere milk-fed girl was proclaiming she wanted to duel with him?

"The strength of the Martial Arts Association is beyond your imagination,"

Quenton Davenport stepped forward as well, his eyes filled with disdain.

"Thinking all of us mere flamboyant fighters since we are the sacred place for martial artists worldwide?"

Contempt.

The people of the Martial Arts Association were full of contempt.

"Tell me, why are you blocking the way?"

Jasper Leopold glanced at his watch, only ten minutes left.

"I’ll give you one minute to explain yourself. If your reason satisfies me, I will let you leave,"

He raised his head and laughed lightly, "But, you’ll have to leave your right hand behind."

The dignity of the Martial Arts Association cannot be violated!

Anyone who dared to provoke would have to pay a price.

A painful price.

He saw that the other party was also a martial artist.

A martial artist without a right hand, without the hand to wield a sword.

It was worse than death.

On the other hand, that golden sword was of some interest to Jasper Leopold.

"What I’m about to say is not an explanation," Venassa Pine slowly raised the Great Zhou Lanyi Sword, the tip pointing at Jasper Leopold, "it’s for you to understand why you are going to die."

"Speak! But, you don’t have much time."

Jasper Leopold flicked his sleeve as the martial artists behind him braced for action.

"Your trip to the capital, entering Huntington Mansion, is for murder!"

Venassa Pine said icily, "So this is the Martial Arts Association? To me, it’s nothing more than the dog of the Huntington family."

"Shut your mouth!"

Vincenzo Marsh barked a command, ready to step forward.

"No matter!"

Jasper Leopold stopped Vincenzo Marsh, his eyes showing a hint of surprise, "The Martial Arts Association has its reasons. But, how do you know we are on our way to the Huntington Mansion? And how do you know, we are going there to kill?"

The actions of the Martial Arts Association were swift.

They received a message from the Huntington family last night and sent people today.

No one else was supposed to know.

But the young girl seemed to have known all along.

And had been waiting here for some time.

The only explanation was that there was a leak.

If that’s true, there was a traitor within the Martial Arts Association.

As a council member, it was his duty to root out the traitor!

"You don’t need to know that. But what you do need to know is, that person, you can’t kill."

Venassa Pine held the Longsword, clad in a purple garment.

Blocking the road.

One man against all.

None can open!

"A joke!" Jasper Leopold laughed loudly, pointing at Venassa Pine, "We, the Martial Arts Association, the sacred place of martial arts worldwide, have nobody we can’t kill?"

"Indeed, you can’t kill him,"

Venassa Pine’s tone was full of confidence.

That’s Mad Dragon!

The leader of Seven Clouds Academy.

A king!

"It seems, without resorting to measures, you may not be willing to talk."

Jasper Leopold gestured, "Vincenzo Marsh, pry open her mouth!"

"Understood!"

Vincenzo Marsh twisted his neck, a malicious grin on his face as he walked over.

"Time is of the essence, quick battle, quick decision."

As Jasper Leopold finished speaking, he turned and got into the car.

The other Martial Arts Association members also returned to their cars.

Once they had the person, they could interrogate them at leisure.

They couldn’t afford to delay.

Watching the time, there were only eight minutes left before the meeting with Darrell Huntington.

Vincenzo Marsh alone, was enough to handle it.

They just needed to get in the car, and wait for Vincenzo Marsh to capture her.

Then, they could leave.

"Miss, I’m about to make a move!"

Vincenzo Marsh rolled up his sleeves, full of confidence, "Martial Arts Association, one of the top ten students, Vincenzo Marsh!"

After speaking, he changed his previously lazy attitude!

He burst forward with vigor!

A body full of murderous intent!

Whoosh! 𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙥𝒖𝒃.𝙘𝙤𝒎

Vincenzo Marsh’s right hand swooped through the air!

At that moment, his hand was like an eagle’s talon!

If caught, bones and sinews would break!

Swoosh!

Venassa Pine kicked out!

Directly sending Vincenzo Marsh stumbling back several steps!

Then.

She slashed with her sword!

Thud!

Vincenzo Marsh staggered to dodge, but still...

Had an arm sliced off.

"Ah..."

Pain surged over him like a tide!

Vincenzo Marsh clutched his bleeding stump, panic in his eyes.

He was one of the Martial Arts Association’s top new talents!

Outstanding ability!

And now, he had been driven back with just one move!

"Trivial skills, and you dare flaunt them before me!"

Venassa Pine leaped forward, her sword dancing in her hand!

"No!"

Vincenzo Marsh cried out in despair.

In his eyes, the last image was the lingering shadow of the Great Zhou Lanyi Sword.

Thud!

A flash of gold, and twin dragons roared.

Vincenzo Marsh, his head hit the ground.

Blood splattered everywhere.

On Favian Road, silence reigned.

"Next!"

Venassa Pine said coldly.

Drip, drip!

Blood ran down the twin dragons, to the tip of the sword.

Then, it fell to the ground.

Whoosh!

"Vincenzo Marsh!"

Jasper Leopold pushed open the car door, somewhat dazed.

Although Vincenzo Marsh was young, he had a strong presence within the martial arts association.

He was even on the verge of becoming the new King.

Even some of the older members couldn’t be sure of victory against Vincenzo Marsh.

But now,

his own disciple lay decapitated.

To death, his eyes had not closed.

"You dare kill a member of the martial arts association," Jasper Leopold’s aura climbed steadily.

That was his beloved disciple!

The future star of the martial arts association!

"To kill is to kill, so what?"

Venassa Pine advanced step by step, Longsword in hand.

"Quenton Davenport, kill her!"

It was the first time Jasper Leopold truly looked at this woman before him.

At the same time, he felt a twinge of self-reproach.

If it wasn’t for his own complacency and carelessness, Vincenzo Marsh wouldn’t have...

Hiss.

He took a deep breath and clenched his fists tightly.

"Senior member of the martial arts association, Quenton Davenport."

Having said that, Quenton Davenport took off his black coat.

Exposing his robust muscles.

"I like your sword; I’ll take it," he said, then with a grin, he charged!

Speed.

It got quicker and quicker!

Leap!

Five meters from Venassa Pine, Quenton Davenport leaped into the air!

Then!

He crashed down heavily!

At some point, a shield had appeared in his hands!

The shield was pitch black and extremely solid!

If hit by it, one would likely be smashed into a pulp.

Whoosh!

Venassa Pine leaped up, pressing the attack rather than retreating!

Her Longsword ripped through the air, emitting a sharp, piercing scream.

Clang!

Sword and shield collided.

Clang!

Another strike.

Thud!

Quenton Davenport hit the ground.

He made a deep pit in the road.

In front of him, Venassa Pine held her sword with an icy gaze.

Pugh!

Seconds later,

Quenton Davenport spat out a mouthful of blood.

And beneath him,

the shield was shattered into pieces!

It turned to dust.

"I’ll grant you your passage."

Venassa Pine stood over him and, with both hands on her sword, pressed down gently.

"No!"

Quenton Davenport clutched desperately at the blade, fear in his eyes!

Resentment and fury, too!

His shield had been incredibly hard!

Not even darts could pierce it!

But now,

it was broken.

Hiss...

The Longsword slid down slowly.

Quenton Davenport’s hands were covered in blood, but still... he couldn’t stop the descent of the Longsword.

Despair!

Fear!

"Stop!"

Leap!

A powerful aura rushed forth.

Jasper Leopold clapped his hands forward fiercely.

But,

Venassa Pine remained still.

As if she couldn’t see, she pressed the sword down forcefully.

A mutual demise?

If Jasper Leopold’s palm struck down, Venassa Pine would surely die.

Whoosh!

But at that moment!

A shadow descended from the sky.

After a clash with Jasper Leopold, it landed softly on the ground.

"Templeton Lena at your service," he said.

The man was dressed like an ancient scholar, holding a book, his face all smiles.

Pfff!

Behind him,

Venassa Pine’s sword stabbed down.

The cries ceased abruptly.

PS: After reading the comments, I’ll tentatively update twice a day.

This afternoon I’ll write four more Chapters, likely working until the early hours.

Welcome my die-hard fan ’Free and Happy’ to keep an eye on me.

Around 1 or 2 am, I’ll post another four Chapters.

It’s exhausting to travel and adjust to a new environment,

And so I’m a bit off my game and need to adjust.

Additionally,

On Qingming Festival, I pay my profound respects to those warriors fighting on the frontline.
