Chapter 64: Chapter 64 Capture Operation

Chapter 64 -64 Capture Operation

“Activity range locked.” The Fire Eye Biometric System located the suspect’s active area through gait analysis.

The Criminal Investigation Captain exclaimed, “Gosh, we’ve searched this area several times and found no clues!”

Hu Yaowen said, “First, let’s catch him. No matter how he disguises himself, a DNA test will reveal the truth. All researchers have blood samples on file!”

“Alright, let’s take action now!” Having confirmed the activity range and suspect, their job became much easier.

The investigation team immediately identified several suspicious living areas where the suspects might be and dispatched an elite squad to apprehend them.

Rong City, in an old residential district, inside a common home.

A “woman” returned home with groceries.

She first checked the small card she intentionally placed in the door frame, marking some numbers on it to spot any tampering or movement.

“No disturbance.” Chen Yong opened the door.

After entering, “she” looked around the house again to make sure no one had visited, then she comfortably changed into home clothes.

Yet, he still wore women’s clothing and hadn’t removed his makeup.

“Just endure a bit longer, and it will all be over!” he murmured to himself after securing the doors and windows.

He was the fugitive who had stolen information from the research facility; technically, calling him a fugitive was not entirely accurate, as he was a spy before he ever entered the facility.

Coming from a poor family, he was academically diligent from childhood and managed to get into a prestigious university and even had the opportunity to study abroad.

During his studies abroad, he first experienced the luxurious life of capitalist countries—sexy girls, delicious alcoholic drinks, and wild parties…

Chen Yong, who had never experienced such extravagances, quickly became indulged until he realized he was in debt and faced potential imprisonment!

At that moment, a mysterious organization approached him, promising freedom from prison and a generous reward, including citizenship in the USA.

The price was for him to return to Shen Zhou and steal intelligence for them.

Chen Yong agreed and, after rigorous training, infiltrated an important research institute where he had been undercover for five years.

Recently, Shen Zhou had been executing a lot of noticeable operations, attracting widespread attention.

The institute he was in also received orders for secret research. The same organization that contacted him earlier now asked him to steal information.

After a carefully devised plan, Chen Yong was able to steal some data. However, due to the tight security, he was exposed and decided to fled.

With meticulous planning and extensive anti-surveillance expertise, he successfully escaped and had yet to be captured by the security staff.

Chen Yong pulled out a computer and first hacked to change the IP address, accessing a zombie computer, then logged into a secret website to contact someone.

“When are you arranging for me to leave the country?” Chen Yong asked.

“The data you provided is not enough,” the other party responded, “We still can’t figure out what Shen Zhou’s secret plan is. The superiors demand a clear understanding!”

Chen Yong replied, “This is the highest level of information I can access. I don’t know anything higher. Moreover, I still have an original copy of core information that I’ll hand over if you get me out!”

Chen Yong kept a portion of the information as leverage to ensure they would extract him.

Indeed, the other party said, “Shen Zhou highly regulates transportation routes, we can’t help you through usual channels. Make your way to the border region; we’ll arrange someone to guide you out.”

They gave him a coordinate, which Chen Yong saw was a border area.

The other party asked, “You haven’t been exposed, have you?”

Chen Yong proudly responded, “Exposed? It’s impossible for them to find me! I have prepared a second identity for years. After fleeing, I immediately underwent plastic surgery and now look like a woman. They will never find me!”

He didn’t just use makeup as disguise; he had undergone substantial physical alteration at an underground clinic. He hadn’t left earlier because the intense manhunt and his post-surgery recovery might attract attention.

Now that the surgery scars on his face had healed, he looked like a typical trendy online personality.

Even without sunglasses or masks, he was confident that he would be unrecognizable to any police officer on the street!

“Good, make your way here as soon as possible,” the other party instructed.

“I’ll leave immediately!” Although he believed his escape plan was foolproof, Chen Yong felt it was better to leave sooner rather than live in constant anxiety.

Just as he was packing, there was a knock at the door.

Chen Yong didn’t respond, instead using the camera he had installed in the hallway to see who it was. He recognized one of the two women from the property management staff, but not the other.

“It’s property management, we need to check your water meter!” the older lady shouted, “Open the door!”

“Could they be coming for me?” Chen Yong thought to himself, “No, it’s impossible for them to find me!”

“Being overly cautious might draw attention,” Chen Yong thought. Considering that his own mother wouldn’t recognize him now, he wasn’t worried about being noticed.

After all, it was just the property manager outside.

Thinking this, he went and opened the door, “The water meter is in the kitchen.”

As he spoke, his voice had changed entirely; he had deliberately taken medication to feminize and slightly roughen his voice.

One of the ladies entered the kitchen and checked the water meter proficiently. Chen Yong pretended to be concerned and checked the meter reading, but suddenly felt a tremendous force from behind capturing him in a second. 𝚗ovp𝚞b.𝚌om

“Ah, what are you doing?” Chen Yong cried out.

“Criminal police on duty!” The other party didn’t give him any chance to react and swiftly handcuffed him.

Chen Yong was shocked that he had been found. He tried to remain calm and shouted like an ordinary person would, “Why are you arresting me? I’m a law-abiding citizen, help, someone, my house is on fire!”

He intentionally shouted about a fire rather than being caught, trying to attract the attention of the neighbors.

The “lady” who seemed to handle him effortlessly asked, “Is your name Chen Yong? Did you change your gender too for disguise?”

Hearing his name, Chen Yong was utterly shocked, a reaction keenly observed by the arresting officers who were convinced they had the right person.

“Chen Yong? I don’t know him; you’ve got the wrong person!” he tried to bluff his way out.

“Stop pretending, we have your DNA, a test will confirm it. To catch you, we even brought DNA testing equipment; it’s in the car and will be quick,” the officer said as more fully armed police arrived to take him into custody.

“Unfortunately for you, our technology has upgraded! Your disguises are all useless now!”

“What technology?” Chen Yong wanted to know how his meticulous and genius plan was uncovered.

Unfortunately for him, as a captured spy, he had no right to that information.
