The weak light only held on at the shallowest points of the water’s surface.
Deeper down was a gloomy abyss penetrated by no light.
Occasionally, dazzling fishes, crabs, and shrimps flitted instantly through the water.

A huge lizard, seemingly as big as a ship, with strange patterns all over its body and a unique horn on its head, started to plummet rapidly into the depths of the sea.
It only started to slow down as it reached the bed of the sea, where it carefully eased its limbs.
Then it slowly crawled over the ocean bed.
Its amber colored eyes slowly observed its surroundings.
As a silver shark swam past its line of sight, it instinctively darted out its blue tongue to swallow the shark before swiftly retracting. The shark vanished in the blink of an eye.
The giant lizard’s mouth slightly curled up at the corners, showing a hint of a satisfied look.
However, the apparently content expression lasted barely a moment before an annoyed voice emerged from within the giant lizard:
"Fu, don’t just eat whenever you want."
The corners of the lizard’s mouth immediately stiffened and he promptly closed its mouth, tilting its head to peek at the stomach it had distended on both sides.
It seemed to be a little upset.
It then hesitated, cautiously tiptoeing with its claws, moving gingerly across the ocean floor.
From its stomach, a resigned voice came yet again:

An octopus, the size of a small boat, suddenly sprang out of the converse dust.

Its blue tongue, silent as a shadow, trapped the octopus and quite easily sucked it into its mouth.
