"Smokewolf clan? Never heard of it" Leon squinted his brows in a frown. The wolf brothers had just told Leon which clan they were from and it made Leon puzzled.

He had read a bulk load of material in the library of Xion, which included the clans and factions in the three territories. But not once had he heard the mention of a smoke wolf clan, even in the historical text.

"Hehe, no one has, even us." They had known which clan they were from right from birth, but as they were all orphans they didn’t have anyone to teach them. As for outside knowledge? This too was extremely scarce. None existent even.

"Ahh, I see" Leon nodded. He hadn’t left the library of xion for more than 4 days, and already the world had proven that he didn’t know everything.

"We are changing our route"

While Leon spoke to wolf one, wolf four and five approached them and said.

They were in the sacred land, the holy land of the warlocks. The terrain was strange and and confusing. Some parts of the scared land seemed unnatural...

For example, they had come across a mountainous region right next to a gigantic pool of water....the pool of water was constantly flowing into the mountainous region causing the ground to become muddy and untraverseble.

It looked sort of artificial.

This was because, most of the clans staying in the sacred lands right now had no origins here. They and been forced to the region so they had to use various methods to terraform it to fit their needs.

"Sigh, okay" Leon sighed and gave the order to turn around.

Even though most of the sacred land was artificial, there were a few that weren’t. For example.

BloodRock.

This was Leon’s destination.

And after a few twist and turns, Leon was able to pass through the region without much trouble and successfully enter blood Rock City.

"Pay the toll!!!" At the front of the gate the City guards screamed. Blood Rock City was an ancient city sited around the ancient structure that was blood Rock.

Legend had it that, all the blood related creatures of the region had originated from this Rock and as such several of them were still there.

"For 18" Leon’s voice sounded as he threw a massive bag of gold coins on the ground right next to the city guard.

This bag was the size of a at least 2 pigs. It was massive. Forgetting how in heavens name Leon was able to afford have this kind of money. The way he threw the bag with such effortlessness was astonishing, who was this kid?

"Sigh, let’s go" Leon shook his head in frustration. No one told him that the toll to enter blood Rock city was this expensive. Good thing he was able to pillage all that belonged to the Dalriss family before leaving Duan city.

Still, it really was a pinch to the skin.

"Hmmmm, I guess the next thing is to find him" Leon mused as he observed the city from the inside.

The amount of activities going on here were enormous. As compared to duan city that is.

BloodRock city was a central hub, it was one of the few ancient structures in the Area and was very stable and enjoyable.

But that was just one of the reasons Leon was here. He needed to find someone....if not he wouldn’t be able to seep into the BloodSerpent clan seamlessly as he hoped

That person was naturally, the first elder of the bloodserpent clan. The old man whom had given Leon the life devourer spell from in the heaven devourer mountain range.

"Hmm? What’s up?" But before he could, an incident occurred.

"You’re in my way" infront of Leon, a young man begin accompanied by an alterage of battle hardened men, in a shell like amours seemingly made from bones.

"Those eyes" Leon stared at the kid with a frown. His eyes contained a slithering nature, sharp and devious. The attributes of a snake.

This was the Boney Serpent clan.

They didn’t have an origin in blood Rock, but for some reason they had and innate hate for the blood serpent clan. They were one of the clans that hated the blood serpent clan. However, they didn’t do it with any reason. 𝒏𝙤𝙫𝒑𝙪𝙗.𝙘𝒐𝙢

(Why would they even be in blood Rock City?)

Leon mused. Unless something had improved their relationship with the blood serpent clan. There was no way these guys could enter the city without being constantly harassed.

"Are you going to move or not?" The young man said with a dangerous light in his eyes. He was ready to attack Leon if he didn’t move.

"Ah? Of course" Leon shook his head and commanded his troop to make way for the young man and his men to go through. He didn’t have beef with the young man, why would he fight him for no reason.

However, as they made their way out of the city, the loud sounds of horse hooves hitting the ground followed as another totally different group of people came rushing towards them.

"What the???" Leon was stunned as he watched the men from the boney serpent clan break into a mad sprint trying desperately to get away from the city.

They were being chased right from the beginning and their whole domineering attitude from before was just a front.

"F*ck, why did you let them get away???" A lady rode towards Leon and barked.

At first glance, she could tell that this guy was a BloodSerpent clan member. But for some reason he let the Bone serpent trash get away so easily.

"I..." Leon frowned deeply.

The pursuers were all BloodSerpent clan memebers, it looked like something had just went down in the city.

Few minutes later.

"Take the ones we caught to the dungeon,"

"Move him"

"Yes madam Fiona"

After a long chase they were able to capture a few of them but the important ones got away sadly.

"As for you, what the f*ck is wrong with you all? Those bastards just attacked the seventh elder in Altrincham house. Why did you like them go" the lady incharge asked Leon with a glow of annoyance in her eyes.

Leon was a level 3 warlock, his action would guarantee that they capture a good number of them, but when they needed him he just stood there and did nothing.

"Sorry about that, I just got to blood Rock City for the first time" Leon didn’t mind her rudeness and explained.

He didn’t know that these guys had tried to assassinate someone in the City, if not he would have done something at least as a matter of pretence.

"You just got here for the first time? Bullshit" she squinted her brows.

Leon was young and a level 3 warlock. Apart for those from the main clan could there be any talents like these?

"I’m serious" leon said with a frown. Why was it so hard to believe that he was from outside blood Rock City? After all, it was true.

"Where did you come from?" The lady finally asked the proper question. The BloodSerpent clan and spread far and wide for several centuries. They were becoming to crowded in blood Rock so this was a natural progression.

Fortunately, the main clan kept tabs of each and every branch created as a form of tradition, but even this method was just so...

They still lost track of a few but the prominent ones were still well known.

"Eldoria" Leon said truthfully, he actually had no reason at all to lie. The branch in elodria was weak with only about three level 3 warlocks in the past few years.

The couldn’t have enemies In BloodRock city.

"That..." the lady frowned.

This branch was one of those branches they had lost track of. It was to far away, not even In the 3 territories.

But she actually knew of this branch. Not because of anything but because of one person..

This person, like Leon was a genius that appeared in the city several months ago. He was powerful and had managed to tame an enormous beast from God knows where.

In fact when he entered the sacred land, he caused a massive commotion that brought the Elders attention.

Abiet his age, he had so much potential and was able to dominate the competition in the clan In a matter of months

Leon of course didn’t know that the old monster of the blood serpent clan had achieved such success after leaving the heaven devourer mountain.

Not only did he successfully tame the giant serpent, he also managed to enter the peak of level 3. He was truly lucky

"Come with me then" after verifying Leon’s identity the lady nodded and got on her horse.

A new talent from a far away branch, this was very lucky.....maybe it was time to explore this branch some more to see if they had other talents
