"Hmmm, won’t open"

In the middle of a Japanese styled courtyard, a young man with white hair and a free robe could be seen seated cross-legged facing a Book.

"I wonder"

The young man said. This guy, was of course Leon and the Book infront of him was the Grimoire he had stolen from the library of xion.

Unfortunately, even after refining it...Leon couldn’t open it, talkless of harnessing the raw power inside of it.

"Looks like I’ll have to do that after all" Leon shook his head. The treasure wouldn’t budge because Leon’s power wasn’t enough to cause it to move. He needed to prove his negative energy output was able to handle it.

This was particularly hard because, although his skill was emaculate in this world, his power and the amount he could control was still very limited.

The only hope to use negative energy at that level was badurs gates and for some reason, the Grimoire was opposed to it.

But he would have to try, and the first step to it was to replenish Badur’s gates negative energy supplies.....

For that, a massacre was needed.

"Hm?"

However, as Leon was thinking of his next step, he noticed a strange movement in the sky above the courtyard.

The silhouette of a man in robes could be seen floating right infront of the moons glow, peering down at Leon.

"Hmmm" Leon squinted his brows before proceeding to fly upwards while maintaining a poise frame.

"What might I help you with good sir?" Leon asked the stranger with a look of confusion and apprehension.

From first glance, Leon was able to see that this person was strong....but his power level was a mystery even to Leon. It was strange.

"I am here to see what you’re all about"

The man responded sharp and directly. Leaving no room for pleasantries at all. He went straight to the point.

"I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand you. What Im about?" Leon’s frown only became deeper by the moment.

He was here for him?

"Brace yourself!!" The old man didn’t wait for Leon to rationalise any of his words, he simply waved his hand and realised a spell type.

"Ohhh, I understand" Leon frowned. That wave of energy....brutish, brimming with life and disgusting to a fault.

BloodSerpent clan.

This person was from the bloodserpent clan.

"BloodSerpent Site: River of blood"

The man didn’t waste a moment of time before activating a site spell. The most powerful spell in the hands of a level 3 Warlock.

An illusory river bloodred and ominous appeared behind him and flowed forward, Towards Leon. It wasn’t too different from the type Ben Yoel used. But this one in particular seemed to contain in it a corroding effect that could tear bone from flesh.

If it landed, all that would remain of Leon would be his skeleton.

"Hmp!! BloodSerpent Site: Bloody Paradise"

Not wasting a moment of time, Leon activated his own site. It wasn’t until his battle with Ben Yoel that he understood truly how powerful an Area spell/Site was.

It was hard to dodge and packed a massive punch if it landed. Especially this type.

But he had experience with it so he knew exactly what to do in this situation.

An Orb of blood appeared above Leon and began to churn and coil. From it blood red serpents flowed out and coiled around Leon and formed an Orb around him.

One of the awesome features of a site spell was its flexibility. As long as it was physically possible and not far fetched, one could manipulate it to their needs.

Forming different structures and formations to guard oneself.

—woom!!!!

The wave fell onto Leon’s ball of snakes pushing the ball out of the sky and upon impact.

—boom!!!

The sonic boom resounded throughout the city forcing everyone to look up in confusion.

Battles were common in BloodRock city, but not this late at night.

Was this an assassination attempt?

"Fucker!!!" Leon gritted his teeth as he was pushed through the air at an incredible speed. The last time he had felt this weak was when he was still at leave two and was facing off with the faystone ancestor.

This guy was definitely a peak level 3 warlock. But this quality of strength had to be because of they were in BloodRock city.

"I can’t let this happen "

Leon thought in his mind. This guy attacked him at the dead of night. He was clearly trying to test Leon’s talent and battle readiness

Even though leon didn’t want to get too involved in the bloodserpent clan matters, He would need the clan to view him favorably if he wanted free room to grow in the city.

Their backing was needed to some degree. 𝑛𝘰𝑣𝑝𝑢𝑏.𝘤𝑜𝘮

So he couldn’t lose, or at least he had to put up a show.

"Hmmmm, BloodSerpent Site: Blood paradise second phase"

Leon slowly rose into the sky while saying.

And Before the eyes of the old man another ball of blood slowly formed next to the one he formed initially.

This immediately caused the old man to frown.

"Blood Attribute?" He was shocked.

Normally, most warlocks were more intoned with the blood attribute of their bloodline, as such they would typically create a site that mirrored the fluidity of blood. So seeing Leon use the Serpent attribute initially showed that he had talent and was able to comprehened what others couldn’t.

This would place him as a unique talent In the clan at the very least.

But now Leon had formed from his strange technique an Orb that emmited a very familiar attribute.

The blood attribute!!!!

Leon’s site could use the blood and serpent attribute. This.....was shocking.

"BloodSerpent Lance!!!!" Leon streched his hand forward and from the blood Orb, a Lance of a massive size flew out rushing towards the old man. Meanwhile, from the second, 3 Serpents coiled forward and wrapped themselves around the land.

This attack was a complete combination of the blood and serpent attribute.....it’s stunned the old man long enough for it to be too late to dodge.

—Slash!!!

Bearly missing the old man the last slashed his shoulder causing him instinctively dodge.

Actually, If Leon wanted at that moment of distraction, he could have very well killed the old man. But he was sure this wouldn’t be the best course of action.

As for this battle it was over, for as soon as Leon’s attack landed, Arian and Ember came flying out of the courtyard go support him.

"Hmmm" the old man from the bloodserpent clan looked Leon in the eyes and said "what is your last name?"

There were few people that could join two attributes in recent times and those people were of the pureest bloodlines. This kid had to be from their line.

"Aldu...win" Leon responded with difficulty. Was he really an Alduwin? After all he was from another world. That family really had nothing to do with him, only his body.

"Alduwin? Never heard of it. We will meet soon though" the man shook his head slowly before turning around to zoom off.

From the very beginning till now, he could tell that Leon was holding back. He needed to act fast to find out who this kid was, so they could bring him into the fold of the enforcement branch.

Fiona was right.

Meanwhile, Leon who was still floating in the sky simply shook his head at this sight and began to descend back into the courtyard.

He was acting like this never even happened.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

—Boom!!!!

A sound resounded in the middle of a dojo, causing a young lady with crimson red eyes to look over instinctively.

A silhouette had just landed in the middle of the dojo.

"Big brother?" The lady fiona frowned upon seeing the facial expression on the face of the old man.

"You’re hurt?" Her frown could only deepen upon seeing the gapping hole in the shoulder of the old man.

( don’t tell me the kid was able to do this to big brother Zaldris)

Her big brother as she liked to call him, was a peak level 3 warlock. Even in the main clan someone like this was to be given the utmost respect.

They none above them other than the great warlocks. Was this kid crazy?

"Don’t worry about me, I need to see the High Arbiter" the old man Zaldris said with a calm tone while he took large strided towards a pagoda south of his current location.

"The High Arbiter? Why?" Fiona frowned deeply before she started following him cautiously.

The High Arbiter was no joke, one would only go before this guy if they had committed a crime and were to be punished and likewise.

To them, he was a scary judge that handed out sentences to those under him, but to the old man Zaldris, this man was his boss.

A peak level 3 warlock having to report an incident to his higher up was definitely something that needed to be looked into.

There was something going down.
