Chapter 311 - 300
"Is the target still Earth?"
Leon sat on a chair on the manor's lawn. At this moment, he wore a thicker shirt, rolled up his cuffs, and donned sunglasses, gazing at the somewhat gloomy sky. Through the thick clouds, across the vast distance, he could see another world—where Loki was in action.
"Using Earth as a battlefield, creating chaos, and seizing the opportunity to find the gems. He can also use her to divert my attention and even indirectly release Asgard's enemy ahead of time."
"This guy's plan isn't bad."
From his elevated perspective, Leon could see the entire situation unfolding. He understood the main trajectory of events, and while there were minor deviations, they weren't significant enough to change the bigger picture. Loki's actions wouldn't bring harm to Earth or have a major impact on Asgard.
In other words, the future would remain within Odin's control.
That was why Odin allowed Loki to enter Helheim. Otherwise, the seal Odin had placed there should have reacted the moment Loki set foot inside. Yet, Odin remained silent, even deliberately loosening the barrier—almost as if he wanted that woman to escape.
Leon shook his head helplessly.
It seemed he would have to step in this time. After all, that woman shared the same origins as Asgard. As long as Asgard existed, so would she. To kill her, Asgard itself would have to be destroyed first.
Fortunately, she had been sealed away for centuries, far from Asgard, leaving her in a weakened state.
"This old man is determined to tie me into his schemes," Leon muttered.
He picked up his coffee cup and took a sip. When dealing with these old foxes, a single moment of carelessness could get you caught in their traps. But then again, these things were all on the surface—Odin knew that Leon would see through it.
Leon didn't mind. After all, when the time came, he was more than prepared to drain Asgard of its foundations.
"There's a lot of good stuff, but unfortunately, the Celestial Computer's computing power is still lacking."
Leon frowned slightly.
The Phoenix Force, Chaos Magic, Odin's power, divine genes, Warlock Adam's genetic sequence... Cracking all of this required immense computing power—far beyond what the Tianren No. 7 could handle.
Fortunately, the second Skyblade battleship was nearing completion. With each subsequent Skyblade-series ship, the production process would accelerate. Once all the Skyblade battleships were built, the ultimate Celestial Computer in Merlot Heavenly Court would follow.
At that point, all problems would be solved.
And the rewards would be his.
His thoughts drifted as Leon turned his head slightly, looking off into the distance. Beyond the lawn and trees, his gaze settled on another place, another scene.
"It looks like he's ready."
"In a month, things will get interesting. Well, within a month—that should be enough. Then, let Skye and Hulk have some fun."
Helheim
In the depths of a mist-shrouded castle, a slender woman with long black hair and dark green, intricately designed clothing stood impatiently before her younger brother.
"It seems Odin really is old," she sneered. "That mediocre fool let his son grow so weak. Asgard will surely fall into ruin under his rule."
A few days ago, a man had arrived—a clear Frost Giant, yet dressed in Asgardian armor and wielding an Infinity Stone. He had introduced himself as Odin's son.
Yet, what Odin had done to him... that was unforgivable.
By "accident," he had glimpsed the true history of Asgard—secrets Odin had erased from existence. And among those buried truths... was himself.
Fueled by resentment, Loki had come to Helheim, offering a deal: her freedom in exchange for what he wanted.
For Hela, who had been sealed away by Odin himself, the offer was tempting. She had long yearned to escape.
However, her agreement came with a condition—it couldn't be for Asgard's throne. As Odin's firstborn, she had once fought beside him, conquering the Nine Realms in blood and fire. To her, there was no one worthy of ruling Asgard but herself. 𝖓𝔬𝖛𝔭𝔲𝖇.𝔠𝔬𝖒
Sitting on that supreme throne, leading Asgard back to its former glory... that was her true ambition.
If Loki dared to suggest otherwise, she would still agree—only to betray him the moment he set her free.
A promise?
To her, such things held no meaning.
"Dear sister, you know Odin's power," Loki said with a feigned sigh. "Even though he's old, I still need both the Infinity Stone and your strength to break his seal. But it will take a month."
Standing before the Goddess of Death, Loki wore an expression of helplessness.
Had her mind deteriorated after centuries of confinement? Did she really think breaking a seal created by Odin—the Father of the Gods, ruler of the Nine Realms—would be easy?
If Odin weren't already old and weakened, if not for the gem Thanos had given him, and if Hela weren't sealed away, Loki wouldn't have even considered coming to Helheim.
This was a gamble.
And the odds were better than he expected. All he had to do was wait one month.
Yet, even now, this so-called sister was dissatisfied.
Loki instantly understood her nature—prideful, arrogant, domineering. In other words, she was just like him.
And Loki knew exactly how to deal with people like that.
He would submit. Act weak. Show obedience and loyalty on the surface.
With her level of arrogance, she might actually believe it.
Sure enough, Hela was pleased with his attitude.
For now, at least, he appeared to be yielding to her authority. Though she considered herself the sole representative of Asgard, even a ruler needed loyal warriors and subjects.
Despite his "humble" Frost Giant bloodline, Loki had freed her of his own will. And, by name, he was still her brother.
So, when she took the throne, she decided she would grant him some measure of glory.
For now.
