Chapter 236: He Would Have Fun
Fergus
~~
He knew something was up. He could sense it.
That night after the attack on the camp, Rhett’s brief suspicious glances at him during their gathering at the camp’s center didn’t go unnoticed.
But Fergus wasn’t bothered in the slightest. He just had to be more careful.
That night, he was able to get one step closer to his goal when he revealed the recording of Isleen’s confession on Cullen’s phone to Kylo.
Although the Gamma’s son’s reaction was violent, he was able to feign weakness and let the young man grieve. Hmph... Pathetic!
It was so easy... Getting him to go against his father was so easy. Now he just had to manipulate him into completing his mission.
And as a bonus, he even had sex with the runt! If anyone had told him that the Gamma’s son could be a sub, he would’ve ripped off their heads and called them a liar.
Hehe... Now he’d successfully used sex to get closer to Kylo. To make him show vulnerability toward him. He’d gotten the Gamma’s son to his side, but now he had someone next to play with.
His mate. Isleen.

.
The next morning, Fergus got up pretty early, before sunrise, and snuck out of the tent. It was easy for him to sneak past the few pack soldiers in the pack, but he had to be wary.
He could still sense Aceco’s magic in the campgrounds. She was still here.
But it seemed the Gamma was also still within the camp. Excellent!
"This will make things a whole lot easier for me." He grinned from ear to ear as he sped toward the camp’s outskirts with his vamp speed.
Aceco had placed a veil around the camp’s territory, but it did nothing to hold him in. Soon, he’d reached Raven Wood pack and hid within the shadows.
He couldn’t let anyone see him. He stealthily snuck past the bustling of the pack before arriving at his destination.
The Gamma’s house.
When he snuck in through the window leading to Kylo’s room, however, he sniffed into the air and found out that Isleen wasn’t home.
Drats!
"Ugh, after all that stress, I thought I’d be rewarded by at least seeing her naked." He snarled in frustration, especially when his dick rose at the thought.
Come to think of it, why had he run back to the pack just to see Isleen? If he was really so pressed to revel in the sight of a woman’s nakedness, he could’ve always captured one from the pack’s outskirts.
Anyway, he was about to jump out of the window when a scent wafted from the kitchen downstairs. He paused, his elevated hearing picking up the sound of a young lady humming an annoying tone.
Lupe.
Ahh, that’s right... The girl was a loose end. After having his way with her, he could sense her withdrawal from interacting with him, and her growing suspicion.
She might prove to be a hindrance to him in the future.
With a smirk, he opened the door and went downstairs, but then paused when he got to the kitchen’s doorway.
With her back facing him, Lupe diced some onions, unaware of his presence. He watched every little movement she made, from the shaking of her hips to the way she moved her head to the tune she hummed.
Oh, la, la. That ass!
He stepped forward, licking his lips with lust. He could have her right here and right now. Kylo was annoyingly inexperienced and did little to satiate his sexual desires last night.
Lupe on the other hand...
"Gosh, Cullen!" Suddenly, she turned to get something but was startled when her eyes landed on him. "W–what in the name of everything good are you doing here?! I thought you–?"
Her breasts jiggled when she spoke, mesmerizing Fergus. He would squeeze the life out of them first.
Before she could complete her ranting, he rushed to her and placed one hand on her mouth, and the other on her left breast.
Her eyes shone with a thrilling mix of fear, bewilderment, and eventually... Anger.
"Let go of me!" She screamed when she was finally able to remove her mouth from his hand. She bit him, taking him by surprise.
The little bitch!
Agitated, Fergus flung her past the kitchen counter, causing her to crash through the plates on it. She eventually landed on the ground at the other end of the counter, groaning in pain.
"Not so tough now, are you dear little Lupe?" He asked, his voice laced with mockery.
He watched her body shiver as she whimpered, struggling to stand up over the pieces of broken ceramic and utensils on the ground.
Her eyes trembled as she gazed at him. "Y– you’re not Cullen. And you’re no wolf either. You’re... You’re a vampire!" Unlike what he’d expected, her face didn’t show any shock at her self-realization.
Instead, she seemed rather... Validated with her discovery? Like she’d been suspecting him all this while but had been waiting for enough evidence.
Too bad for her.
"Not just any wolf, Lupe." He stretched his arms in a show of confidence as he walked slowly toward her. "I’m the one behind all the murders that have been going on in your precious little pack. Including one that happened to a person... So, so dear to your heart."
He grinned. In that instant, her brows creased into a frown. But it didn’t take long for her face to get overridden with despair and realization as her jaws clenched.
He recognized that look in her eyes. Hatred! Sweet, sweet hatred. And Lupe was full of it right now, directing it all at him.
"You sick bastard!" She screamed all of a sudden, her face already getting stained with tears. "You took my mother from me!"
She lunged at him, a growl escaping her mouth as she brought out her claws.
The she-wolf was feisty, he’d give her that.
With a swat of his hand, he sent her hurtling through the kitchen’s entrance and into the living room beside him.
"Now you’re just embarrassing yourself." He clicked his tongue as he stepped into the living room, his eyes fixed on his prey.
Ahh... He would have fun.
