The weather was gloomy, with cool breezes blowing. It was very comfortable.
In the streets, a deep aroma of coffee drifted with the gentle wind, permeating the air.

The passing girls couldn’t help but fix their gaze on the young man who had just stepped out of the coffee shop, their eyes overflowing with admiration.
The man sported casual white attire; his chestnut brown, wind-tossed hair revealing a fair neck; his cherry-coloured lips gently pursing.
It spontaneously led one to think: Like jade is the passer-by, unparalleled is the noble son.

Looking at the gloomy sky, Jian Luo took a rough gulp of his coffee. The iced coffee slid down his throat and he choked.
“Cough, Cough–”

“You’re not supposed to drink coffee like that,” a teasing voice came from behind, causing Jian Luo to stiffen.
Black Jack looked at the slim figure in front of him, his restless heart suddenly finding peace. He walked towards him.
“So, have you forgotten about me in just a short time?”
This idiot, he finally found him.
“You… How are you here?” Choked by his coffee and with a sparkle in his glistening eyes, Jian Luo asked in surprise.
Black Jack glanced at him and replied, “Because you are here.”
The matter-of-fact tone momentarily left Jian Luo startled, only to remind him of a piece of gossip he’d heard. He snorted, manoeuvred around him and intended to leave.
His uncommon coldness alarmed Black Jack to the gravity of the situation.
He quickly pursued and blocked his path, “Luo Xiaobai, what’s wrong with you?”
As Jian Luo looked up into his blue eyes, he replied irritably, “You are blocking my way. Please move.”
“Luo Xiaobai, are you mad at me?” Black Jack asked tentatively.
Jian Luo turned his head to look at the road and said, “Who said I am mad? Which eye of yours saw that?”
With such a grumpy tone, yet he claimed he wasn’t mad. Who is he trying to fool?
Black Jack tried to reach out to him but was avoided. Looking at his soft and fair face, all his own anger diffused.
“Luo Xiaobai, even if you are mad at me, at least give me a reason.”
Jian Luo shot him a sideways glance, his face still cold, “I told you I’m not mad.”
The world appreciated beauty, and the handsome duo attracted the attention of passers-by. Jian Luo frowned slightly, took his coffee, and attempted to leave.
“Wait.” Black Jack stopped him.
Jian Luo said, “You… ”
“Did you hear the rumour about my possible alliance with the Lofer family?” He interrupted, successfully pre-empting Jian Luo’s statement.
Jian Luo’s eyes flashed a hint of surprise as he pulled his hand from Black Jack’s grip and said, “Oh, right. I forgot to congratulate you. Miss Lofer is quite good. You two are a good match.”
They had agreed to inform each other upon finding someone they liked. How could he break that promise? If he hadn’t seen him dining with a woman at the restaurant accidentally, and hadn’t read the newspaper article about his rumours with the Lofer family’s heiress, would he still be in the dark?
Black Jack laughed, “Luo Xiaobai, do you think I need your congratulations?”
Congratulations my ass. Match my ass.
