Chapter 441: 427, Luo Xiaobai goes to the bar (3)_1

She held her phone, looking at the man opposite her, “Where did Luoluo go after the meeting?”

“According to Ayue, it seems he went to their racetrack,” he replied.

Jian Qing put her phone back to her ear, “Black Jack, Luoluo went to the racetrack. Don’t worry, he’ll be careful.”

With Han Yue and Quan Mingxuan there, there should be no problems.

“Who is that man?” Black Jack’s voice questioned coldly.

Clearly, their focuses were very different.

“What?” Jian Qing didn’t catch on at first.

“Who is the man standing next to Luo Xiaobai?” He asked again.

“Man? What man?” Jian Qing was almost confused.

What on earth had her Luoluo done? Judging from Black Jack’s tone, she felt he was about to explode any second.

“Wait.”

He hung up the phone after these three words.

A few seconds later, her phone rang.

Jian Qing saw an image sent to her.

In the photo from the racetrack, Jian Luo was dressed in casual white attire while Han Yue, unusually, was wearing a similar white outfit. Han Yue had his arm around Jian Luo’s neck, and they were laughing freely.

This…

Suddenly, she understood why Black Jack was so upset.

Quan Jingwu peered at the photo on her phone, a hint of amusement evident in his eyes. He was clearly enjoying the spectacle.

With a resigned look on her face, Jian Qing received another call from Black Jack.

“Black Jack, that man is Han Yue, a friend of Xiaojing and me. Luoluo met him when he came to Beijing. Their matching outfits must be a coincidence. Luoluo promised to race with them before,” she explained.

Unfortunately, her explanation did nothing to diminish Black Jack’s frustration and jealousy.

“I understand,” was his curt reply.

Jian Qing, listening to the “beeping” of the call, couldn’t help but laugh.

It looked like Black Jack was going to be sleepless tonight.

How coincidental, Han Yue happened to be wearing casual white attire as well. Was Black Jack jealous? But where did he get the photo from?

Did Luoluo send it to Black Jack deliberately to provoke him?

“Let them sort their affairs out,” Quan Jingwu said.

He didn’t want the attention of his wife to be distracted by others, especially other men.

Jian Qing gave him a playful glance, “So domineering.”

The food began to arrive quickly. As Jian Qing had stuffed herself at lunch, she didn’t feel like eating.

“Aren’t you going to eat something?” he asked.

She shook her head, “I ate too much at lunch, you eat.”

Quan Jingwu didn’t insist and started eating.

His table manners were the epitome of elegance. Jian Qing rested her chin on her hand, quietly watching him, a faint smile curling at her lips.

“Xiaojing, actually you’re the real ‘demon’, aren’t you?”

A great demon tempting her.

Quan Jingwu chuckled quietly, his enchanting purple eyes reflecting her smiling face, “So, have I seduced you, huh?”

Jian Qing didn’t deny it, nodding her head happily.

“Well, my heart was hooked away. What can I do now?”

He reached out a hand to ruffle her hair, “I’ll keep it safe for you.”

“Well then, I might as well agree.”

They smiled at each other, sweet pink bubbles of joy spreading through the air around them.

Their voices weren’t deliberately lowered, so plenty of people around them were clear on the conversation and found their food tasteless.

Because they’d been stuffed full of a wave of lovey-dovey talk.

If anyone dared say their CEO couldn’t sweet talk, they’d be the first to pile on the punches. Just look how beautifully he pulled off those sweet nothings.

Boo-hoo.

In this day and age, it’s hard being single.

When they left the racetrack, it was already almost evening. Han Yue grabbed Jian Luo and nominated Quan Mingxuan, the owner of Qianshi Restaurant, to treat them.

“Jian Luo, do you want to go to Dihao with us?” Han Yue asked after they had finished eating and drinking.

Jian Luo put down his chopsticks, “Dihao?”

“The bar I and Axuan run. Jingwu co-owns it,” he answered.

“Bar!” A spark of interest ignited in Jian Luo’s eyes.

Seeing this, Quan Mingxuan chuckled, “Why are you so excited?”

Jian Luo’s eyes flickered, “Nothing, are we going now?”

“Yeah.” Han Yue nodded, joking, “Why do I feel you are quite interested in bars? Haven’t you been to one before?”

Jian Luo silently scorned Han Yue’s sharpness but kept a straight face. “I’m just curious to see what bars in Beijing look like,” he replied.

Han Yue replied, “Aren’t all bars the same?”

“Stop wasting time, let’s move,” urged Quan Mingxuan, standing up.

Under the guidance of Quan Mingxuan and Han Yue, Jian Luo set foot in a bar for the first time. Curiosity sparkled in his clear eyes.

Jian Luo looked down at the busy dance floor beneath him. So, this was what a bar was like. He couldn’t understand why Black Jack didn’t like him coming here?

“Jian Luo, come on in.”

Quan Mingxuan stood at the entrance of the private room, looking back at Jian Luo at the top of the stairs.

Jian Luo replied, climbed down the stairs, and eagerly entered the room.

In the private room, Han Yue had selected a bottle of wine from the wine cabinet and brought over three glasses.

As soon as Jian Luo sat down and saw Han Yue pouring wine, he hurriedly said, “Han Yue, you two drink. You don’t have to pour me any.”

“It wouldn’t be proper to come to a bar and not drink,” Han Yue responded.

Jian Luo gave a resigned smile and admitted, “I can’t drink.”

“For real?” Han Yue gave him a suspicious look.

He nodded, “Why would I lie to you guys about this? Both my sister and I don’t drink.”

At this, Han Yue and Quan Mingxuan grudgingly believed.

“Jian Luo, are you allergic to alcohol?” Quan Mingxuan asked.

“No.” Jian Luo joked, “I just can’t handle it.”

“So you hit people when you’re drunk?” Han Yue jokingly asked.

Jian Luo laughed, “Do I look like such a violent person?”

“You can’t really tell. Your sister nearly wrecked this place the first time she came here,” Han Yue casually remarked after taking a sip of wine.

“My sister?” Jian Luo asked curiously, “What happened?”

“Your sister came to visit a friend. Some foolish man tried to harass your sister, but ended up getting a good thrashing from her,” Quan Mingxuan explained.

Jian Luo laughed, “Serves him right.”

Anyone who dared to harass his sister deserved a good beating if not worse.

“Are you sure you don’t want a sip?” Han Yue asked, not giving up, “How about a glass of champagne?”

“Really, no. If I get drunk, I’m afraid you guys will be in trouble.” Jian Luo said, a hint of humor in his eyes.

Black Jack and Bai Jue had both said that he couldn’t handle his alcohol, so he decided not to embarrass himself in public.

Upon hearing this, Han Yue and Quan Mingxuan decided not to push any further.

After all, they didn’t want to be the ones in trouble.

“Axuan, do you feel like we’re missing something?” Han Yue asked with a mischievous grin.
