"That woman didn't even last for a few seconds. I hope you will be able to last for a few minutes," said the Blazing Horn Bullman as he stopped before me.
"Don't worry, I won't just last, but will also kill you!" I replied, to which it grinned.
"Good. I like the confidence. For you, we will use more powerful spices and sauces when we cook you," he said, and a moment later, his powerful fiery aura Mid-Prime burst out of it, along with the lines of the elder power.
It made me serious. I wanted to fight without using the burst for at least a minute, but seeing the power it had burst out with, I had
Burst 50%.
He isn't keen on holding back too much of it's power or wants to see whether I am worthy.
Whatever the reason, I didn't like it, but will need to play along. I have no other choice.
"Here, I come," it announced, coming at me with a black ax and a golden blade in its hand.
The yellow fire covered the ax with specks of gold in it.
I countered immediately, swinging my sword forward with all the power I could harness from the burst.
CLANG!
The swords clashed, creating a powerful shockwave that shook me, nearly making me take a step back before I stabilized myself.
I looked at my armor, and my mood couldn't help but be even more somber than it was.
Its ancestral power is very strong. I can not let even a drop of it inside me.
"Good," it praised with a grin and came again with an even stronger attack than before. It might not seem like it is due to the slight increase in energy, but it is.
It had added more ancestral power to the attack.
Burst 60%.
I increased the power of the burst without hesitation. I would have sent back like a broken doll if I didn't.
CLANG!
My sword clashed against its ax. Holding it without a shake. A faint surprise flashed in its eyes before a grin spread over its face.
It pulled back its ax and attacked again with even greater power, this time increasing its energy.
CLANG CLANG!
Once more, I defended, but it appeared behind me and attacked again. I swiftly turned and defended to see it attacking from above a moment later.
It is increasing its power every moment and making it harder to adapt to the changes.
It is a very powerful Grimms, but also a very talented fighter with a smooth combat style. Of all the Grimms I had fought here, it was not the most powerful but had the best combat style.
It might not seem like it due to its laid-back style, but appearances can be deceiving.
Every strong from it is targeting my weakness. Unlike most Grimms, it doesn't have an interest in playing around. It wants to finish me but is not being hasty about it.
"So, where is the formation?" it asked suddenly while launching another attack.
"What formation?" I asked back, and I could see the anger appearing in its eyes. It didn't immediately disappear; it stayed there for a moment before disappearing, but not fully.
"You know the formation I am talking about," he replied with a smile disappearing.
"It's a secret. Can't tell you," I said.
Kanxin didn't tell me much about it, but from what I gathered, it is hidden well enough that one couldn't find it.
It might be hidden in a place that Grimms couldn't easily find.
Which is good because of the way it works. It can be used by Grimms. They should not use it. It would be terrible if they got their hands on it.
"You should tell me because it could get really painful. If you do not," it threatened with an angry smile that made fire on its horns blaze brightly and raised all the hair on my body.
He attacked, and it seemed like the attacks before, but they were not. It had sneakily increased the power of its attack.
Burst 75%.
Once more, I increased the power of the burst and responded.
CLANNG!
Our weapons clashed, and its eyes sharped. "You have a powerful soul sense. A few people were able to sense me increasing my power," he praised.
"It's not that hard," I replied with a shrug.
It had made it angry, and it didn't control it back. Instead, it let burn.
"Yes, for people like you, it's not!" it replied and attacked. Fast and hard, gone were the casual style of attack. It is a strike of intent and anger.
CLANNG!
I defended but nearly needed to take a step back.
I was stabilizing myself when it attacked again and again. I defended, but its attack kept coming.
Minutes passed, and it attacked me from all directions. Bullman is usually a balanced type of fighter, but this one is speed-type, along with the offense.
'This is the plan,'
I was fighting it when my clone spoke, and a plan materialized in my mind. It nearly made me miss its ax. If it had done that, it would have been a game over for me.
The plan is difficult. I would need to add more forbidden power and create a cocoon of isolation around her.
My seed had found out that ancestral power in it stays like that unless it is commanded otherwise.
That means I could kill it and then deal with the problem later. It is a massive problem, but to solve that problem, I need to deal with Grimm.
So, now I have to send a large amount of forbidden power because the isolation cocoons need to be very powerful. I have to do it sneakily enough that it won't sense it.
I was able to send the seed, but it wasn't fighting earlier. Its senses weren't targeted at me like they are right now.
I was thinking about the best way to do that when I sensed its increase; this time, it did openly.
Burst 90%.
I responded with my aura bursting out around me. It made the Bullman grin, but not with joy.
