A power amplification of level 10 means that the flying artifact can act as a level 10 spell and produce power that will be equal to 10 multiplied by the quality of his internal energy.

So a level 10 flying spell would be able to do what the top grade flying artifact can. But the flying spell won't be as efficient and won't be able to replace the energy source with energy stones.

The flying board satisfied him, but he still asked about flying ships. He wanted to know if he could get those.

Unfortunately, he couldn't. He was told that flying ships are at least rank 3. It is because even the smallest ones require a vast amount of energy to operate, which rank 2 cultivators cannot supply with their internal energy or control with their weak minds.

He was a little disappointed to hear that, but he was satisfied with his flying board, so he left the weapon forging hall happy.

He didn't want to get tempted by the space pouch, so he left the weapon forging hall as fast as possible.

On his way out, the attendant called out to him, "Please go back and practice using the flying artifact before you risk your life flying over the mountains."

He took the attendant's warnings to heart and decided to run all the way to the medicine hall next.

To be honest, he was a little disappointed that he couldn't try the flying board as soon as possible. But he also recognizes the danger and values his life, so he set his eagerness aside for now.

He ran to the medicine hall next to exchange for pills to recover his mind. This time he didn't get the superior top-grade pills because they were too luxurious.

He did the opposite of what he did in the weapons forging hall. He prioritized quantity over quality. This is because the difference in the effectiveness of the two pills wasn't that large.

The difference in the top-grade and high-grade pills was at most between level 6 and level 10. It could also be as little as the difference between level 9 and level 10. Either way, top-grade pills were twice as expensive as high-grade pills.

He didn't think the double cost was worth it. Not even the reduction in toxins and physical strain after taking the pills was worth it for him because he had a very strong body and could recover quickly thanks to the Everlasting Wood Art.

So instead of getting one bottle of pills containing top-grade pills, he opted for two bottles containing high-grade pills.

Each bottle contained ten of those pills, and he could get three bottles containing top-grade pills with his redemption card. By choosing the bottles containing high-grade pills, he was able to get six bottles, which is 60 pills in total.

After making his choice, he returned home to practice. Meanwhile, somewhere very far away, some people were talking about him.

The people talking about him were four. One of them was a beautiful lady with glowing and white eyes. Her figure was levitating in the darkness and producing a soft silver glow that made her look like a moon.

The other three were the opposite of her. Their bodies were bright like stars. They were so bright that their figures couldn't be seen. The only differences between them were that the lights they were producing were of different colors and their sizes were different.

The four of them were in a dark place devoid of light and sound. It was sealed space perfect for talking about secrets.

The red star asked the white moon, "Why did you call us here?"

The silver moon replied, "I was able to contact Mountain Sitting Daoist."

This information shocked the other three.

The orange star sighed and said with pity, "So he is still alive."

The blue star asked with fear, "What did he say? Did he say when he is coming back?"

The other two stars stared at her intently. They too wanted to know the answers to those questions as it is a matter of life and death.

The silver moon heard the questions and considered what to say carefully. But she couldn't figure out what to say. So she simply replayed the conversation she had with the Mountain Sitting Daoist to them.

The three of them listened attentively. But even they were confused by what they heard.

The red star asked in confusion, "What is he doing? Is he joking with us?"

Silver Moon disagreed. "I don't think so."

The blue star asked in anger, "Then what is it doing if not playing a sick joke on us?"

She replied, "I think he forgot about me and about us."

That was more shocking than the information that the Mountain Sitting Daoist was alive.

The orange star flared up and denied her conjecture. "That's impossible. It is impossible for the Mountain Sitting Daoist to lose his memories as long as he is alive."

The blue star said in agreement. "Everyone knows that the Mountain Sitting Daoist can reincarnate with his memories. So even death can't make him forget. As long as his soul is not destroyed, he will always remember."

The red star was the calmest. He asked them, "What if this mountain Sitting Daoist is a new one?"

The other two looked at him as if he was crazy. So he explained his reason to them.

"I know that only someone with a special soul strong enough to fuse with the Mountain Dao and become the Mountain Sitting Lord. But what if our scheme really succeeded and we managed to destroy the previous Mountain Sitting Daoist soul permanently? Then what if the Mountain Dao found another inheritor?"

The other two couldn't reply, so the red star continued. "If those things happened, then it would make sense for this Mountain Siting Daoist not to even know what a herald is. He might not know her because he doesn't have any memories of her."
