Ye Qilan gently carried Su Hongxing out of the car and laid her in the bedroom, letting her sleep in peace.
It turned out, Su Hongxing slept until nine in the night, reportedly awakened by hunger.
Su Hongxing consumed three bowls of rice and two bowls of soup, then saw Ye Qilan and a servant staring at her in astonishment.
“I was hungry.” Su Hongxing said, a bit embarrassed.
She had always had a good appetite, and today, she was genuinely hungry, which drove her to eat a bit more than usual.
“You’ve slept for so long, will you be able to sleep tonight?!” Ye Qilan was a bit concerned.
Yet, Su Hongxing didn’t worry about that at all. These days, she would fall asleep as soon as she hit the bed.
By eleven o’clock, while she was putting the little one to sleep, she ended up putting herself to sleep too.
Little Pudding stared silently at Su Hongxing’s sleeping face: “How did mom put herself to sleep again?”
The baby wasn’t even asleep yet.

“I didn’t have much to do at the office anyway, I can manage business at home as well.” Ye Qilan contrived a blatant lie.
Hearing this, Age really felt like slapping someone.
And here he was saying there’s no urgent matter. Today was the first board meeting called by Ye Qilan since his return to the Ye Family. All the key figures of the Ye Family were waiting, and some of the older directors were even swearing because of the delay.
Still, Su Hongxing fell for it, truly believing that Ye Qilan had no important matters at hand.
