Ye Shiqing watched Qiao Qiao for a while before asking, “When are you planning to divorce Lao San?”
Qiao Qiao avoided Ye Shiqing’s gaze, “This is my private matter, there’s no need to report to Second Brother.”
His own life was a mess, yet he had the audacity to meddle in hers—as if he had the time to spare.
“From your tone, you’re not planning to divorce then? What kind of magic potion has Lao San given you? With just a few words, he can bewitch you to the point of dizziness? Do you still remember him hitting you? Remember how many women he fooled around with outside…”
“Second Brother, it’s working hours now, can we not talk about personal matters?” Qiao Qiao interrupted Ye Shiqing, brewed a pot of tea, and then turned and left the pantry.
As soon as she stepped out, she saw Wen Beibei standing at the office door. Judging by Wen Beibei’s expression, she must have overheard her conversation with Ye Shiqing just now.

Ye Shiqing regained his focus, moving his gaze away from Qiao Qiao’s face, “Alright, hand the schedule over to Xiaoqiao and you can leave.”
Wen Beibei responded, handed the schedule to Qiao Qiao, and left the office.
Qiao Qiao, holding the schedule, was a bit puzzled, “Second Brother, why are you giving this to me?”
“From now on, you’ll be responsible for arranging my schedule. Do you want to be a lowly errand girl for the rest of your life? Shape up!” Ye Shiqing rebuked her, but his gaze didn’t show any disdain.
“But I didn’t plan to stay here forever. I won’t be working here much longer, my degree has nothing to do with what I’m doing right now…”
